OP here.


I currently use a Ithaca 37 with a pistol grip. I have it staged on my closet door and it takes about 2 seconds to roll out of bed and get it in my hands ready to go. I plan on putting the full stock on it when i get home tonight, ive been using 2 3/4 00 buck but i think im going to switch to 000 buck.

Hopefully soon, i will be getting a .32acp ruby for a bedside pistol.

Judo helped me lots of times in school. I'm glad my dad taught me the basics. I've never been in an adult fight, however. I think doing that would be stupid. I'd rather give someone 50 bucks to fuck off than fight them with my hands. That's all they'd get, though. Any more threatening, and it's time to see if an adult gets as winded from a flip as a child does.

Being a trained boxer I have, after doing everything I could to avoid it, used my skills to put someone flat on their ass.
I didn't enjoy doing it, and doubt I ever will, but when all else fails, it's good to have a bit of training on your side.

cold steel isn't all they are cracked up to be be
they've gained a bad stigma to attract weeaboos and teenagers that want to be tactical

they claim to be the sharpest with amazing steels
the steel isnt amazing but its OK
sharp is not a word that comes to mind when i think of cold steel sadly.

they need to stay the fuck away from axes,

their folders are top shit, myself having owned several, again, edges mediocre having to do them myself

machetes are decent, if not a little over the top with their designs, also owning a few of them,

theyre a company that people love to hate on this board
