I was not in the armed forces, but many family members were. Here is the story of my cousin:

First gen PS90's are notoriously easy to convert to full auto.

The fact that it has a tilting barrel doesn't really affect accuracy as long as the barrel has a tight fit to the slide, which any modern semi-auto will have.

The difference in your shooting results between this and your Glocks is probably that you're flinching when you shoot the polymer gun or otherwise pulling left or right because the Glock trigger is not flat, which makes it very easy to pull in one or other direction if you don't have your shooting fundamentals mastered.

Personally, I shoot Glocks a little better than I shoot CZs, Sigs, or really any other gun, because they fit my hand really well, the recoil control just feels better to me than other guns and the angle that the grip angle puts my wrist in seems to set me up to get the sights back on target more quickly/easily than other guns. I'm not talking about accuracy. If you can't hit accurately with any gun, then you are deficient as a marksman. I'm talking about getting a good presentation, shooting fast, and being consistent in how well I shoot (consistency has to do mostly with ease of use, a gun that is harder to shoot will wear me out physically and mentally, causing mistakes at the end of an extended shooting session).

CZs aren't inherently more accurate that other guns.
They offer Superior ergonomics that make you shoot better than your skill level.
The issue is it's hard to get better with a cz75, the proficiency level is insanely high.

I have yet to do any better with my sp-01

That looks more like fouling and heat on top of the areas where the bluing has been worn away. This is actually pretty typical with pistols like this because the barrel rubs the slide as it's blown back. I have the beginnings of that silver ring on some of my glocks.
