Why aren't there aimbots in real life? Is there a secret ban on it somewhere?

There's this that only auto-assist, but it doesn't control the gun aim itself. A proper aimbot is where the user randomly aims and the gun will automatically lock itself to a target when it finds out.

The UN does not like it so they banned it.

How big of a problem is Russian armor? Is it enough to make a Russian invasion a real, tangible threat? How would the west stop such an invasion, barring nukes?

>Is it enough to make a Russian invasion a real, tangible threat?
the company's worth or so of armatas, you mean?
>>
>>34590397
it's not really a problem but it's not bad. there are a multitude of reasons why any russian invasion would be doomed to fail but the armor isn't necessarily one of them.

*What would American Resistance to Russian/Chinese occupation look like? As in militias, would they pull through?
99 posts and 6 images submitted.
>>
>>34585914

There would be no occupation. Attempt to invade US would dealt with in sea and air long before they reached US.
>>
>>34585914
Ignoring the bigger questions about the plausibility of an invasion, what you are basically asking is "how would militias stand up to combat?"

The answer is poorly. US militias attract the mentally defective, the wannabees who couldn't get into the military, and the guys who were POGs 20 years ago. They'd delusionally change head on at the standing enemy army get wiped the fuck out so fast it's crazy.

Military vets and non-defective gun owners could come together to be fairly effective though. You've got tens of thousands of recent military vets who have lots of experience in asymmetric warfare, making them a viable harassment force.
>>
>>34585979
What about police? I always thought a cool situation of police forming their own local militia with the stuff they already have in inventory, fighting federal agents and non-defects.

Well /k/, it happened. This morning on my way to work some nigger behind me honked at me for stopping to let some kids cross at a cross walk. I flipped him off and kept driving to the next light. Tyrone pulls up next to me:
>"Bitch don't stick your motherfucking finger up at me, you don't know me bitch."
>Are you fucking serious? 1) The light was red 2) The crosswalk was full of kids. Sorry to hurt your feelings buddy.
>"Don't be sorry, be careful bitch!"
>lol careful of what?? laugh and roll up window.

Less than a minute later I'm pulling into the parking lot and notice Tyrone is following me. Nobody around, no cameras, nothing. He parks on passenger side of my truck, starts getting out of his car.
I get out, unholster and wait for him to walk around the back of my truck.

He's yelling crazy ape gibberish, but my heart is pounding and I don't understand a word of it. He comes around, walking all tough and shit and finds himself looking down the barrel of a .45, sees green Viridian laser on his chest. Literally runs back to his car and peels out as I flip him off again lol.

It was crazy /k/. I never thought I'd ever unholster, much less draw down on somebody. Should I tell the police? I don't have a license plate number or anything, so I think it would be a hassle for me and nothing more.

Anybody ever have a similar experience?

because scaling up operations to cater to gear queers doesn't make business sense generally. Restricting sales to public sector and security professionals cuts down on a lot of business risk (not the least of which is lawsuits if some omar mateen fuck shoots up a place using their kit)

Is the Makarov worth a damn, /k/?

Classic Firearms has them for $275, and I'm considering getting one since the price is good.

>>
>>34584037
yes. Buy it.

I've heard a few small complaints about Classic Firearms itself, but at that price its worth it
>>
>>34584037
Bulgarian Makarovs are the best poorfag gun ever. They are dead ass reliable. I've never had one jam or fail to cycle/fire no matter what kind of shitty ammo I was using. They're extremely simple to disassemble (although replacing a barrel on one is a real pain in the ass) Bakelite dick shaped grips are sexy. It's a cheeki breeki piece of history and still decent enough to use as a CC gun. Buy that fuckin thing right now.

I noticed there isn't many flare gun threads here. I like pyrotechnics, so why not combine them with guns?

PIC related: My CZ-BRNO RV85 26.5mm flare launcher. The thing is built like a tank! They were overbuilt with chrome bores to fire rocket-assisted riot rounds. Behind it are crates of 26.5mm flares. The white illumination parachute rounds are my favorite and most useful round you can acquire in the states. I also have several pistol flare launchers in 26.5mm as well.

Thanks! It's quite the collection piece. You'll be even more jelly at the price I paid for it back in the day - $200 shipped! I would have bought a dozen of them if I had the foresight. People want $500 - $1,000 when you can find them for sale nowadays. Only 2500 were ever produced. And of that, only a few hundred were imported into the states.

It came with all of the factory accessories - original box, cleaning kit, sling, cloth carrying case, disassembly tools, spare parts, a factory instruction manual and log book, and a factory test target.

>>
>>34579849
I like it. Hope it takes the oa-x competition. I know alot of people here like the Super Tucano, but I can't see something foreign winning. Props aren't as sexy to put on an Air Force recruitment ad anyways, so it's definitely a no-go, not when everything needs to look high-tech.

Even if a ship was able to withstand a nuclear bomb structurally, would the people inside have any chance for survival?

>>34578816
let me put it this way, have you ever seen those down and cover videos that they showed to kids in the 50s? where if kids just hide under the table will save them from a ground zero nuke blast? there is your answer to the army's bullshit about nuke proof ships and tanks
>>
most likely no they would be cooked by radiation.

they did some tests with a centurion tank that was 500yds from a burst iirc. i think they said they crew might have survived the initial blast.
>>
>>34578816
This is of course a function of distance. I'd take being inside of a ship over being outside of it during a nuclear explosion any day of the week.

Why is it the worst battle rifle?

I want to spend ~$1500, and I was going to wait to do a build like AR10 or FAL merit.

Buy a Yugo .308 20 rounder. I do not know its official name but it is one of the best old school battle rifles for buck.

Its like 800$ in Europe but should be cheaper in USA. Spend the spare money on a good scope and .308 ammo.

And you will have a gun that you can shoot at distances AR cannot hope to reach
