You see this guy at the range. What guns does he own?
Why is he saying he's Eri Ca?
BCM Jack Carbine he can't shoot.
Roland Special he also can't shoot.

What was wrong with Chellenger I? It performed well in Gulf War I, killing literally hundreds of Iraqi tanks and IFVs for no loss and recorded the longest range tank-on-tank kill in history yet was quickly superceded by the Chally II. It was also aesthetic.
>>35118004
Why cause not just donuts with chocolate frosting. They easily defeated plain donuts, but we're immediately superceded by frosted donuts with sprinkles? It was also aesthetic.
it couldn't hit a goddamn thing, at least initially

>it couldn't hit a goddamn thing, at least initially
From wiki:
In action, the Global Positioning System (GPS) and Thermal Observation and Gunnery System (TOGS) fitted to the Challengers proved to be decisive, allowing attacks to be made at night, in poor visibility and through smoke screens.[13] In total, British Challengers destroyed roughly 300 Iraqi tanks without suffering a single loss in combat. Patrick Cordingley, the commander of 7th Armoured Brigade, said afterwards that "Challenger is a tank built for combat and not competitions."[14]
On 26 February 1991, a Challenger achieved the longest range confirmed kill of the war, destroying an Iraqi tank with an armour-piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot (APFSDS) round fired over a distance of 5,200 metres (3.2 mi)—the longest tank-on-tank kill shot recorded
why doesn't the military use mid-lengths?
>>35117997
Because you touch yourself at night
>>35117997
Because its fucking retarded and so are the idiots that bought into the meme along with all the footlong handguards.
>>35118017
what's wrong with a mid-length gas system? if anything it's superior to carbine-length
I kinda want to pick one up. Post some of the ones you have/ want to get

AR or AK?
For some reason my AR15 charging handle is locked back from time to time and when I release it, it doesn't go back.
Do I just need to clean it?
The problem often resolves itself when I separate the upper and lower.
>>35117715
>do i need to clean it
that's not even a question. clean it!
>>35117844
As in if I clean it will this problem likely go away.

>brags that he has a 148 IQ but can't fucking spell "communicate" correctly (pic related)
Why do people take this clown seriously? Any other person behaving in this way would be shunned and criticized by the gun community by and large in a nanosecond, except for this asshole. Why?
>>35117652
He seems confident when he gives shitty opinions and misinformation so betas believe him.
>>35117652
Didn't some people say he wasn't always this bad, he just did the persona for too long and became it and his mother passing also changed him?
Would a jungle carbine or an m44 fit the role of scout rifle?
>>35117643
Is it a short rifle capable of being carried on patrol in a dense urban environment?
>>35117643
A jungle carbine could do it just fine. An M44 is still using the Nagant action and it is going to suck a lot of ass.
t. M44 owner
theres no reason to buy mosins anymore. they're too expensive for how shit of a gun they are and the ammo is about the same price as .308
Recommend me an IWB (preferably kydex) holster for my Glock 19 /k/. Just got my permit from the sheriffs office today and I need one. It's riding in a Bladetech Nano right now but it's not all that comfortable and doesn't conceal that well.
>>35117475
Not OP, but
Want to carry a Glock 26 concealed. Need a holster
Holster has to have at least one level of retention, and cover the trigger guard entirely. Cannot be a "clip on", and must be fitted for the Glock 26.
Would prefer it be leather, and have a thumb break.
Additionally, something similar for my Glock 17.
>>35117475
Check out JM Custom Kydex's IWB 3, Darkstar Gear's AIWB/IWB and V Development Group's similar design called the Seraph.
Pistol-Forum has plenty of good reviews on them and I use a Seraph although for AIWB.
And a small tidbit, most "kydex" holsters aren't made of kydex but I get what you mean: something not leather or nylon (jfc). For example, Raven Concealment actually uses Boltaron after switching away from actual Kydex years ago, V Dev uses Holstex Raptor and I'm quite sure JM Custom doesn't actually use "kydex".
Raven Concealment Vanguard 2. Comfortable as fuck since the Glock is mostly a flat brick anyways. Only downside is the pistol can be dislodged easily if you bang the grip on something solid (like a car door, door frame, etc).
What's a good beginner shotgun?
>>35117463
Older Remington 870 or Mossberg 500
Benelli SuperNova. The shell elevator stays up once you push it out of the way, so you don't get a thumb full of sheet metal while loading. Also, chrome-lined barrel so it doesn't rust like a Mossberg.

These threads are retarded. There's no NASA spacefleet.
NASA barely has enough money to keep putting shitty probes into space and we don't even have money for the Orion shuttle replacement
There's no fucking armed wing of NASA deploying battlefleets in low earth orbit, or fucking moonbases.
alright guys. Let's have ourselves a spoop thread. greentexts, pasta, and images all welcome. Starting off with something that I still dont get

hello all make decent money have no wife no kids, don't really spend that much expect guns and being al around prepper type
so here is the issue I like the SCAR 17S but the price is kind of turning me off, for 2/3 of that I can buy a PTR and dress it up the way I want with collapsible stock and box of 36 mags and nice optic. the problem is with the SCAR 17S is not only that price but the fact they seem to come in in batches and by the time i save the money one may not be available for a long time.
P.S. aim-point comp 4 for an optic on the ptr 91 a good idea or nyet?
>>35116946
SCAR if you have dignity, PTR if poorfag.
>>35116946
>I like the SCAR 17S but the price is kind of turning me off
if you make "decent" money with no real expenditures, 2800 USD isn't a large sum.
Suck it up and buy it.
The one thing the PTR will have over the SCAR (for you since you mention prepping) is that it's easier to stockpile parts and mags for the PTR
Post any questions about Paras, Gurkhas, Royal marines etc.
Hello /k/ first time poster, long time lurker, but I've been thinking of going through sandhurst, or commissioning as a royal marine officer after I finish university/college. I am physically fit enough to be on my university's rowing team, but I don't think I stand a chance of getting through to the paras.
How hard is it to commission as a gurkha as a briton(can't find anything on google relating to britons), and have any of you(ex military) ever worked with the royal marines, or gurkha?
>>35116879
Getting into the Gurkhas as an Officer is pretty hard unless you have the family connections, can you speak the language or know anything about their culture and customs?
>>35116935
I know a bit about their history. Like they were mercenaries fighting against the british in the anglo nepalese war, and they were so good at fighting them, that the british integrated them into the army. Also Goat sacrifices fit in somewhere somehow
>>35116935
I swear getting put into the Gurkhas is more of a punishment than a reward...
>double stack 1911s

>>35116677

>>35117886
Wow I didn't know the 1911and Hi-Power were both chambered in 45 ACP thanks anon
>>35117886
Yeah, it's the better option than a doublestack 1911, which is why the 2011 exists and almost every competitor uses it and nobody uses a spruced up BHP.
