Why'd they do it /k/ommandos?
>>34634613
because racism
because if you let commies kill your family and take your stuff, they win.
>have friend from South Africa
>his dad was in the military, didn't think much of it and he didn't talk about it much
>one day I ask him for the details and he tells me his dad was a medic in the bush war
Great doctor to this day, what a guy.
any anons know where to pick these mag base pads up (pic related)
>>34634608
any place that has em usually you can just walk right in and buy em thats how i got mine
>>34634608
I've never seen one. My guess is someone either just rattle canned the grips and mag base, or it's a custom job. Good luck
>>34634608
Never realized how pretty those look, ty OP
Would American air power increase, decrease, or stay the same as it is if the Air Force was returned to a subordinary position to the Army?
Basically what if the Air Force returned to being what the Marine Corps is to the Navy?
>>34634519
Possibly increase. A lot of money would show up since they don't have to pay salaries for the airmen who lose their jobs, what with being merged into a single branch and all. We can't be certain this money would be used for airpower but who nose.
>>34635614
As long as the airfags all lose their benefits and healthcare as punishment for the F35 costs.
Actually, if any airfaggots are transferred over to the Army to bulk up the air corps they shouldn't be allowed to be paid, period.
>>34635754
>imblieing the F35 program will survive the merge whatsoever
Are US Marshals high speed?
Yes.
Well, look at their equipment : they look like Navy SEALs, so they must be.

Sometimes I wish the deep state police thugs would just stop pretending they cared about civilian rights and just went full Spetsnaz with these millions of tacticooled police storm troopers finally walking around with antitank weapons, stingers, or main battle tanks (preferably custom prototype models funded by unlimited "counterterrorism/illuminati" monies)
Might as well prove the tinfoilers right.
Any advice for those who may have or prefer full size handguns? I'm sure that the tl;dr is "don't CC full size" but for my situation it's the only firearm I own.
My full size jericho was passed on to me from my father and I plan on buying a beretta 85 or px4 subcompact but I won't have the funds for a while so i'm trying to make due. I'm curious to know what positions, holsters types and general advice will help me and others (if at all) carry a 2.5 pound loaded piece of steel.
Thanks in advance!
>>34634353
I have a Glock 17 and would like some advice as well
Just make sure you get a rock solid belt for something that heavy, something that's not going to start to sag down or outwards as you wear it. I'm pretty small, and if I have to carry something larger I find that I need to wear the gun closer to 4:30-5 o'clock rather than 3:30-4 to keep the grip from poking out of my shirt.
>>34634353
Appendix carry at whatever position conceals the grip the best, or get one of those G2 holsters that put it down at your thigh, if anyone asks say it's a medical device and hope they aren't a doctor
If you look through various engagements in wikipedia it seems the axis always took way more casualties than the attacking allies.
Can this be explained by the different paradigm used by both sides or something else?
>>34634173
When it comes to just killed and wounded, against Germany at least the allies almost always lost more
>>34634173
Artillery hurts when you stand still in holes
By the point that the Western allies were involved in major ground operations, they had massively superior; air-power, artillery, and operational tanks. Combined with the intelligence from code-breaking successes, this was a potent advantage. I suppose you could class the superior paradigm as being one of bringing resources on a strategic scale to bear against your enemy.

Jesus fuck.
Is there any sort of Armor equivalent of the 160th SOAR?
A sort of elite tank unit with the best crewmen in the bleeding edge of tanks who the Special Forces community can call on when they need heavy support?
Surely the Rangers would like to have tanks from time to time, yeah?
Why in the world would they?
Armor's best when together, in coordination. Having elite weeaboo tank units would just end up on one of those ISIS videos of a lone tank getting ATGM'd.
>>34633842
And neither is the 160th sent in on their own, they're always supporting and being supported by other units.
>>34633831
>Rangers
>Tanks
I think you don't quite understand what light infantry are all about.
Why do the SEALS seem to have the highest rate of fuck ups in their missions, among all of SOCOM?
Is it just that more of their missions are made public so more of their mistakes will be known as well?
Because seals are a meme.
>>34633784
Mission creep
>>34633807
Green Berets took the mission creep in their stride, why not the SEALS?
Post those glorious surplus arms!!
Guys, I fucked up.
No it's not an ND, AD situation. It's a wrong/poor reaction situation.
Heard a loud noise last night in my house (I live alone, no pets) and I just jumped up and ran, unarmed, to investigate. Once I checked all exterior doors upstairs, and moved toward the basement to check the basement door (house is built on a hillside so one side of the basement has an exterior door) I realized I should grab my shotgun and light before heading downstairs so I did. House cleared, all doors and windows secured, no intruders.
After the adrenaline calmed down and I was able to think about what I had just done, I realized how stupid it was to go investigate the source of the noise unarmed. But that was my reaction. No thinking, just reacting.
How can I train myself to think more clearly in a situation like that and not just run toward the sound? To grab my shotgun and light, and calmly slowly investigate?
(turned out the new shower curtain rod wasn't up securely and fell to the floor making a loud metal on ceramic sound, and knocking over a metal trashcan in the process)
>>34633759
when you hear a loud noise, get your shotgun. ez. i dont understand the question, like, just get your shotgun???? lmao
>>34633774
I need to retrain how I react. To think before reacting. I jumped up and ran without thinking. I need to not do that.
It's easy to say "don't do that...do this" but when the shit goes down (as I thought it had, but thankfully had not) it's a different story.
>>34633759
Stop being a sperg and think about things for an extra 2 seconds. You're not going to train to not be a spaz, you need to stop being a spaz. Stop yourself and think.
Does anyone have a link dump of this guys stuff?
Bumping for interest. Looks similar to that strikingly aesthetic black 22lr homemade single action that pops up from time to time.
>>34633669
I had a link to a collection of his works but my favs got nuked a couple days ago.
>>34635700
was it the mesprojets site? Because that was down for a while
Miss Sloane's character is meant to be a Mary Sue but Jessica Chastain simply transcends this role. Her portrayal of gun control advocates as drug addicted, STD ridden, prone to animal cruelty, and bearing a total contempt for the law and the Constitution of the United States of America is easily one of the most accurate portrayals ever documented in cinema. I'm truly shocked that this film was overlooked for the Oscar. If you want to spend the next 2 hours of your life watching a sociopath with literally nothing else going on in her life destroy her career by trampling on your freedoms this is definitely the movie for you!
Shit is streaming on Amazon. Please 1 star this liberal preachy piece of shit.
Liberal smugness is truly without bounds
Also the same guy who directed it made that piece of shit Shakespeare in Love which only beat Saving Private Ryan at the oscars because they didn't want a film that violent to win best picture.
Is there a reason why daggers should have a guard?
It seems many Asians (including Indians) didn't seem to think so.
I guess in case you are in a closed quarters without a sword it can help but you're at a,loss of the person you're fighting has a weapon with more leverage anyway.
It only seems useful of you intend to dual another guy solely with daggers. perhaps Europeans have a larger history of that than Asians?
Guards are made so that your hand doesn't slide onto the blade and cut you if you pierce flesh, not for blocking other blades.
>>34633544
You haven't done fencing have you.
I'll bring up a codex in a sec.
>>34633545
>fencing
>with daggers
I should have been more precise though, I meant guards on daggers only.
What is the consequence of sinking a nuclear ship in battle?
Any nuclear ship
>>34633423
That's silly, The US and France would both respond differently. The Americans would retaliate differently depending on the means by which this was achieved. The French would no longer have a carrier.
>>34633423
Depends on how deep the water is/where.
I you sink a nuclear powered ship in the middle of the ocean, it will sink to the bottom. Water is a a moderator and a reflector, so you pretty much just have a very hot rock at the bottom f the ocean. Local critters might ot have a great day, but the overall impact is minimal. Eventually it will corrode/melt through everything to the ground, so there is going to be a material release, but the ocean is gigantic and dilution would prevent any meaningful increase (again assuming the where and how deep is middle of the ocean tier.) Closer to shore, they would probably try drop a shield over it if they could. In the case of a carrier, probably not feasible.
It would provide a comfy house for a lot of species.
