Where's the holster from? If you're gonna show your shit off then at least tell us what it is, geez f'n summer faggots.
Is this a good gun? I like the idea of a bolt action that can use 10/22 mags, since sometimes I get ammo my 10/22s aren't as reliable with.
>>34666174
I ordered one last week.
>>34666241
Yeah PSA clearance is $75 cheaper than anywhere else. I ordered a couple since I'd been eying them for a while.
>>34667981
why do you need to bump, two people just told you it's a good gun and they've bought one.
So /k/unts, I'm not looking to turn this into another fucking/pol/esque shitshow or anything, I just want some decent phone wallpapers related to Rhodesia and related topics including the Bush Wars, Border Wars, or the SADF. I tried /wg/ but we all know how worthless they are. Pic related
>>34665848
fuck you, i'm not a kunt, you're a fucking kunt m8
>>34665874
I mean it with the highest value of respect
I want some too.
I asked if he'd do $400. Here's the only pic of it I have. Good deal?
It seems like an far more affordable Garand in a slightly less available caliber. What's the weight on this thing by the way? I'm pretty small. Anyone have one?
Can't use all 8mm ammo in it. As 8mm has a wide variety of loading some is too hot. Their is a gas adjust on it but you wanna use yugo milsurp in it
>>34665842
that's not good, is it still worth $450?
>>34666157
Depends on your value of worth. I'd buy the shit out of $450 Hakim, they're great guns and really interesting.
Hey guys, trying to decide and need some input from those with experience. I really want to get into the FAL game. I know 308 is a bit pricey, but that's not so much an issue.
I'm looking at two local ads for Imbel L1A1 models, both going for 700, including some mags. However, DSA's Voyager is going for 899 at Atlantic. Is there a big difference in quality? I'm mostly an AK guy and I guess I'm asking whether it's like comparing a RAS47 to a Wasr-10/63.
Pic related, one of the ads.
Appreciate the input!
>>34665749
As long as the L1a1s actually have an Imbel receiver, I get that over the DSA.
this thread again?
>>34665749
It would be more along the lines of DDI compared to a Siaga. One is original factory specifications the other is something some dudes state side threw together for the consumer market (then had a ton of issues because they didn't follow the established methods and procedures).
Go for the L1A1 locally. you wont have to pay shipping or tax
Help me out /k/.
I want something in 9mm, that is the grip width size of a subcompact pistol (about 1" give or take .1", single stack) but the rest of the dimensions are that of a normal compact pistol.
Something to compare it to would be a Glock 19 or P239, but thinner in the grip. Maybe something like a compact 1911, I don't know.
I found this but it's in .380 so it's kinda homosexual http://www.bluesheepdog.com/2017/01/20/new-browning-black-label-1911-380-compacts/
I might end up just buying a P938 with a magazine that gives me the third finger grip, but I still want something a little bigger than that. Size is everything.
Oh, and SAO or DA/SA is fine. Striker fire I guess is okay too. Nothing DAO.

OP here, I found this which pretty much sums up what I want but it is unreleased.

I'm newguns, and I bought this Model 10 yesterday for 315, and took it trap shooting an hour later. Love this thing, and it helps that I have a knack for trap shooting. Anyone else got an older shotgun they're fond of?
>>34665463
I love shooting traps too.
>>34665463
There are two shootguns for sale in my area that have both caught my eye
Both double barrels, one an old colt double barrel from the 1870s, and the other a stoeger coach
I could afford either, the dilemma is do I want an
awesome wallhanger or a cowboy action gun?
KSG best SG
How easy is it to pass the background check for a TS clearance for gov't/military work?
Its not too bad. The hardest part was the penis inspection. They get pretty thorough.
At least the nurse was in a good mood. She was laughing and snickering the whole time during the inspection. It was nice to see a happy face in a building full of paper pushing feds.
>>34665453
I was going to give real advice since I have a clearance. But responses like this is probably what you want.

My GTi was stiff as fuck and I loved it, but I'm definitely gonna drive it for a bit before putting too much performance modding on it. First bullshittery honestly will probably be cutting some subs in and making it loud as shit. How many miles does your STi have? I might look for an 08/09 if there's any that aren't driven to hell and back

I'm content with my gun but if I changed the acog mount it would be a brobro
What's with all the F-35 hate? I've read it makes Russian and Chinese rivals look like 4th gen.
The program was in the shitter really badly from like 2007-2011
Then the memes stuck.
Like how the AR platform is still memed as a jam machine.
>>34665193
5th gen is a marketing term. Nobody in uniform has ever said it, period.
>>34665208
>Nobody in uniform has ever said it, period.
Uhhh, i will give you one chance to take this back. Only sith deal in absolutes.
Looking back on it in the past decade, it has almost completely turned 180 degrees.
AKs and military surplus use to be cheap, common, and the guns of choice for poorfags and ARs use to be expensive and for richfags.
Today, with the massive surplus of ARs after the election hysteria, AKs becoming more expensive, and surplus drying up, it's almost like bizarro world.
What comes next though? What will the market look like in the next 5-10 years in terms what kinds of guns are available?
Will ARs also dry up? Will American AKs get better? Will a new gun take the market by storm like the AR did?
>>34665028
Everything cheap and quality is banned from import and most fun ideas are regulated away for stupid reasons. I'm with you anon, I need more options, I've got the standard AR, several polymer pistols, custom long range rifle, and shotgun niches filled.
I want new stuff
ACR will become the rifle to beat if Shrubmaster ever gets their shit together. The price has already dropped like $1000.
Remington makes an even more modernised version but they won't release it to the public for some reason.
>Will American AKs get better?
They will, as soon as someone worth their salt makes a decent one. The market will ask for it, and someone will answer with all that is asked for.
>Forged trunnion
>Forged BCG
>Chrome-lined barrel
After someone fixes those issues in US AKs, the market will take care of the price.

Russia bout to get fucked
help me /k/ I have a dilemma
I can't decide between a mosin or an sks as my next fun
I want to use whatever I buy as a multipurpose rifle that I can also hunt with
so here's my dilemma
while both are solid dependable rifles I like the SKS because it's a bit more modern and 7.62x39 goes for around 20 cents a round, however for hunting you really don't want to be outside of 150+ meters with a 7.62x39 (which has similar ballistics to a 3030)
the MOSIN on the other hand with it's 7.62x54r is accurate out to around 400-500 meters if you want to take down a deer, my concern is that if I want to plink with a mosin it's gonna cost me 40 cents a round just for surplus
help me /k/ I can't decide (I'll probably pick the loser up later on but I'm debating which one to buy now)
>>34664737
SKS if you can find Russian or Chinko Norinco Paratrooper model
Mosin in any other case
Def Mosin if you can find one with a PU scope.
Just my opinion though
>>34664737
SKS every time.
The age of the Mosin Nagant is long past. Neither the rifles nor the ammunition are cheap enough to make up for their glaring flaws. If you're set on getting one of those two, get the SKS. The ammo is cheaper, it's more accurate (within the effective range of the 7.62x39), and it's a handier weapon to carry around innawoods.
>>34664737
For hunting you really should be using a Mosin ( there are much better modern hunting rifles for a similar price). Mosins are often really inconsistent, some will be accurate, while some will be shot out, and shitty. Overall the sks is a better general purpose rifle, but hunting anything larger than a deer at close range will be difficult.
So why is it that the Marines are the most useless branch of the military? When have they done anything that points to success that the other branches would've done a better job at?
They are always getting cucked out by everyone else.

Marines are a smaller, dumber, poorer Army. Should be relegated to the boats where they belong.
