I like mine.

I think they offer more value for the price than Hi Points.

My friend got one and it had issues in the first box of ammo going into battery. Any issues with yours so far?
>>
>they make one in black and orange

I'd drop $200 on that for shits and giggles. I just cant get my head around a semi-auto 9mm pistol having an 8 pound trigger pull.

>Have parents come over, my mom sees the ebil babby eater
>asks me why I NEED that assault rifle
>Explain to her it's hardly different than the other rifle I have (SKS)
>Explain it uses the same cartridge
>Offer to take her shooting with it

How do I get her to understand? She sees the banana mag and promptly freaks.
Anyone have trouble like this?

No, because I don't ask my mother what she thinks about my rifles.

Okay, so where the fuck do I buy an MP5 ejector as an Eurofag?
I'm looking to swap the poopy ejector in my POF clone for a correct gen 3 ejector.

Brownells stocks them for $25 but they won't ship any HK parts outside US as per agreement with the HKikes, and neither will anyone else. Kraut milsurp sites are all sold out.
Am I the only one who finds it fucked up that these things are being manufactured just across the border from me, but I can't get my fucking hands on one no matter what, but people on the other side of the planet can?

eGun was the first thing I tried, German gunshops and milsurp sites were the second (all sold out, at best they have the gen 1 ejector).
It'll probably pop up on eGun eventually, but I don't want to hang around there for another year just to track down an ejector, it's an even shittier and more outdated platform than Gunbroker.

Do you shoot MOA or MIL?
Does your reticle match your turrets?
30 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
I've been a dedicated iron sight shooter all my life. So on the occasions my sights have been incremented in either it's been MOA. I've just got my first scoped rifle and it's MOA turrets and reticle. I do want to learn mil though.

MOA and yes

Is mil more common/popular? I feel like everyone on this board references MOA when talking about their groups. I assumed MIL would be easier because everything is divided by 10

I was watching another episode of The First 48, and the detectives found out that a Taurus found near the murder scene belonged to the victim because it was "registered" to him.

Without fail, true crime shows and police serials will constantly mention tracing guns to people because they are "registered". That it's okay for that guy to have a gun because it's "registered".

Why do they do this?

I know that FFLs keep a record of transfer. Also, in a lot of big cities like DC you have to register your weapons with the police.

>As conventional fuels were in extremely short supply by late 1944, Lippisch proposed that the P.13a be powered by coal. Initially, it was proposed that a wire-mesh basket holding coal be mounted behind a nose air intake, protruding slightly into the airflow and ignited by a gas burner. Following wind-tunnel testing of the ramjet and the coal basket, modifications were incorporated to provide more efficient combustion.

>The coal was to take the form of small granules instead of irregular lumps, to produce a controlled and even burn, and the basket was altered to a mesh drum revolving on a vertical axis at 60 rpm. A jet of flame from tanks of bottled gas would fire into the basket once the P.13a had reached operating speed (above 320 km/h), whether by using a rocket to assist takeoff or by being towed.

>The air passing through the ramjet would take the fumes from the burning coal towards the rear where they would mix under high pressure with clean air taken from a separate intake. The resulting mixture of gas would then be directed out through a rear nozzle to provide thrust. A burner and drum were built and tested successfully in Vienna by the design team before the end of the war.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lippisch_P.13a

why weren't there any coal powered jet planes if it's possible to make such an engine? or maybe they were made but i don't know about them

not as warbirds ofc (this one was supposed to be a fighter) but as transport or sport aircraft

>Ramjet

Just take a look what it is or how it works... sums up why nobody really made em
Germany in the otherhand probably would've made if they had time/resource
>>
>>34672779
the best coal has slightly less energy density than jet fuel, but barely over half the specific energy of jet fuel.
>>
It isn't efficient at all. Why use coal when oil is perfectly fine?
