Are arsenal AK's worth the 1400$ price tag?
>>34681992
That is a milled Arsenal.
The stamped variants including the newer budget oriented ones are where the value is at.
>>34682043
are you referring to the SLR 107's? Only reason I am drawn to the milled receivers is because its more authentic.
>>34682064
> milled receiver
> more authentic
lol yeah I guess if you don't know anything about AKs at all
just signed for 0313 LAV crewman, how fucked am I?
>>34681772

>>34681772
Get IED`d, faggit
>>34681772
Not as protected as the Chinese LAV for sure.
Does anyone else have a problem with Marlin 60 failure to cycle? I went to the range today after scrubbing my Marlin with a toothbrush in a bathtub for 2 hours then oiling it. After 200 rounds it turned into a bolt action.
Sometimes it was a failure to eject, sometimes failure to grab a new cartridge, whatever that's called, and rarely it was failure to extract. Is she just dirty or is something wrong with my rifle? None of the parts are broken or deformed as far as I can tell.
>pic not related, first thing in camera folder on phone
>>34681752
If you used lots of oil
>too much oil
If you lightly swabbed with an oily rag
>not enough oil
If you used oil at all
>try grease
>>34681786
I think I used a proper amount of oil, so I'll probably try grease. Would axle bearing grease work? I've got it on hand.
>>34681752
Not like it's the same gun or anything, but I had similar issues regarding extraction with an old mini-14. Turns out it had chamber erosion and the extractor claw could only get teh rbass some of the time, because the round had wiggle room on a closed chamber. Get it looked at by a smith OP.

I have a glock 19 as my one handgun, but damn is this thing sex. I want pic as my one and only handgun. I mean for everything.... home defense, ccw, etc. how stupid am I?
>>34681713
ok nutnfancy
The correct number of firearms (n) is always:
>n+1
>>34681713
Well 2 is 1 and 1 is none, so technically you own zero of each type of firearm
Is this Finnish capture?

Also this.
Like just torpedo and sink it, say it was an accident and keep China in the blue water dark ages for another 30 or so years.
>>34681636

>>34681652
Just send some SEALs carrying a torpedo and sink it into the dock
>>34681636
we worked bretty hard on that one, komrad. pls dont
Purchasing my first pistol, it'll be a range toy until I'm old enough to CCW (which is soon)
I like the Ruger SP101. Don't want to go over 30 oz and this is right there.
The problem is barrel length. Not going under 3". But do I get the 3" barrel for CCW and less range fun, do I get the 4" barrel for slightly harder CCW and slightly more range fun, or do I just say fuck it and get a long ass one and then buy a P938 when I'm old enough to carry?
wtf do I do /k/
>>34681403
nevermind the last comment, nothing longer than 4" exists. So if f I get 4" should I get another CCW?
It's 4.2", not 4" - e.g. it's Canada legal. That's the main point of the intermediate barrel length; it's just long enough to cross the border (paperwork permitting)
Personally have the 4.2" and I love it. It's not impossible to carry, but it's large enough to have fun with at the range.

Watch this, /k/ is fucking retarded when it comes to this exact topic at hand. Listen to someone who actually has some experience in carrying and shooting revolvers extensively.
I would opt for the 3 inch. It's going to be just as shootable as a 4 inch but easier to conceal.

I actually don't like the sling sitting right on my VFG, so I took mine off too already. Gonna have to find a better way to attach it
Hey, I'm new to the whole gun scene, as I've only recently been the age to own one (before I collected knives). What do you think would be a good first gun to own and use? I've personally been looking at the Mosin Nagant, it peeped my interests (this thread can also be about gun tips/advice)
If you buy a mosin, you're buying into a meme, and only true faggots do that.
Buy a fucking bolt action .223 or something if you're just going to be fucking around with it.
Or be a man and get an AK or AR.
>>34681065
At least get something semi auto... Mosins aren't as cheap as they used to be so the meme isn't worth it unless you've got money to blow. If you want something cheap and ready to go, get an SKS or some cheap AR off gun.deals
A 91/30 Mosin is a good first C&R gun,m and it will be cheap. The ammo is corrosive, but don't let that scare you. It's not a big deal at all. An SKS would be another good early buy for you, something Chinese for around $4-500 if you can. Last and most important, I want you to look up "The Civilian Marksmanship Program". They sell old US army rifles (M1 Garand) from WWII for about 60% of their market value. The program is predicted to be running out of rifles very soon.
Someone bad is at the door.
How do you great them?
I unloaded the gun for this picture.
>>34680847
if theyre bad, what makes them great?
>>34680847
With a smile.
>>34680847
I doubt they'll come in sideways OP.

is adams arms shit?
i want to get a piston AR but dont want to spend $1k
>>34680665
Pistons are only good if you're running a short Barrel, or a suppressor. Other than that it is wasted money.
That said, Adams arms is not shit. But, you should get the low profile version and put it under a rail, because what you linked is objectively disgusting looking. And railed gas blocks are dumb.

The price. About it.

More expensive than all the ar10/15 derivatives already in service without any major improvements to justify the price.
>>34680428
AR-10s are generally unreliable desu
The Scar-16 is fucking dumb though.
