I dunno my slav songs but that's Farewell to Slavianka, right?
Why did Paul Herrell say he doesn't like talking about the time he killed a man? I can understand why a person would be averse to violence, but I can't understand why such a person would be a gun enthusiast. Guns are designed for violence, so if you like guns, it would be logical to think you like violence.

Nah
Spic here, since crime is rising and i've been robbed twice before, what would be the best option for (((((self defense))))) and (((((hunting))))) since Mexicans are only allowed to own:
-Pistols up to .380
-Revolvers up to .357
-Shotguns with a barrel longer than 25 inches
-Triple barrled shotguns (lmao)
-Lever action rifles up to 30-30
-Any bolt action rifle
>inb4: get an 80% lower and do the rest
>>34690361
Revolver in .357 and the lever gun in the biggest caliber you can get, buy tons of ammo and practice a lot
.357 revolver and a WW2 bolt-action rifle.
Can the shotguns be semi-auto?

Glock Perfection
Long story short. I live next to a very small FFL. I basically racked up a little over 1k in store credit there.
The guy is closing down and selling everything, dude is my neighbor and he gave me until Monday to choose one of these two weapons to buy (split the difference with the credit) before he puts them on the shelf to the general public.
He's selling the Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor and the Savage 110 BA Stealth .338 Lapua (both of them are the latest Gen versions)
Price isn't really the issue (especially with the store credit taking care of the bigger chunk of the payment).
I'm not new to bolt actions or long range shooting, I do reload, and ammo isn't a big deal either, even if I didn't reload I have the mula to comfortably spend on the ammo.
I just was wondering if anyone had any experience on which gun is better built and more gun for the money. So far the RPR seems like the better choice after, I heard the barrel on the savage .338 is rather thin for a .338 and strings when it gets hot after a few shots (don't know how true that is).
I'd like the .338 though, purely for the novelty factor as well, it's one hell of a round and I've always wanted to have a powerful rifle. I don't own any rifle round bigger than a 30-06.
At the same time, I'm also curious about the 6.5 and it's probably a more useful gun. What say you /k/?
(btw I'd get something else all together, but there's nothing in his dwindling stock of firearms I'm interested in so it's between these two)

That would be an easy choice for the OP if it was between a RPR and a Accuracy International.

I don't know what it is, so I can't like it, OP.
Hey /k/, I've been hearing lots of good and some bad things about the Taurus PT111 Millennium G2 (Pic) and was wondering if any of you have had any experience with it? Thanks guys
>>34690187
I bought one and within 100 rounds the trigger bar broke rendering the gun inoperable. It's been 8 weeks since Taurus got it and they still haven't fixed it. Stay away OP, the design is eventually going to fail. Maybe you will be lucky and you will get a couple thousand rounds out of yours before then but it will eventually break. If your looking for a gun that your life may depend on look elsewhere
>>34690187
Save for another 1-2 months and buy something worthwhile, like a Ruger American compact, or a used Glock.
I would never buy a taurus
>>34690214
>>34690223
Yeah Nutnfancys trigger safety broke as well, thinking about this or Ruger SR9E, my philosophy is get something cheap now just to have SOMETHING, then save up for a Glock 20 or G19.
Either way thanks for replies and input.

I'm not confident in the condition of my shot out mosin and I need something to replace it. is there anything on the market that can take similar abuse to what the mosin can? I put mine through a lot of shit, it's shot almost daily and is beat around quite a lot. I don't need anything quite as strong as the 7.62x54 but it needs to be able to take out a coyote here and there as that was the main purpose of the mosin. I just need something cheap and very durable; it doesn't have to be a tack driver or anything.

Savage .243
Howdy /k/, I got a mossberg MMR a few weeks ago, and the front sight is mounted on the wobbly hand guard, and i cannot get a decent group with thing. Do I need to just buy a railed gas block and different hand guard to get a solid set of sights, or is there a way to fix the wobble?
>>34689959
Sell it. Then build one, like you should have to begin with.
>>34690046
This.
Or, alternatively, just accept that the MMR isnt exactly a precision instrument of tactical destruction, and just use it as a shits and giggles blaster whilst saving up for something better.
The generally accepted "best" entry level ARs include the M&P 15 and the Aero precision's offering.
Just change hand guard
