square range commando/troll

I'm wanting to get a bullpup rifle and I can't decide between the FS2000 or the Tavor. Does anyone have real hands on experience with either who can give me some insight on how they handle? I've watched several jewtube videos on both and I'm torn between them. Thoughts?

I don't however, I am want a bullpup myself . Personally, I am waiting for lithgow arms to release the Atrax F90 to the american market. Nothing I would love more then have 16" and 20" barrels for it. Even the 20" is smaller then a 14.5" AR.

Most ballisticians today agree that the major service calibers today have roughly the same performance and as such 9mm is the preferred choice because of its low recoil and capacity.

But 10mm though? 10mm has
>twice the muzzle energy of 9mm
>more weight and larger caliber
>more velocity than even +p+ loads

And in a glock 20 you get all of that in a gun that shoot 16 of them and is only the size of a P30

Still not sure?
Underwood 10mm has a 165 grain gold dot flying at 1400 fps producing 720 ft ilbs of energy
Like more mass? They have a 180 gold dot at 1300 producing 680 ft ilbs.

Worried about recoil? Simply search YouTube for videos of glock 20s being shot with hot 10mm. I think you'll find that fast and accurate follow up shots are certainly very possible with a bit of practice.

The key of course to being proficient with a 10mm is practice. Good thing that brass cased, non remanufactured ammo from a well known supplier can be had for about the price of 45 ACP. For $350 you can get 1000 rounds of s&b 180 grain.

10mm isn't for everyone - that's why few if any major departments still issue them. But for those strong twisted few who want a bullet that is far more powerful than 9mm, in a gun that has great capacity and still fairly easily carried, then a glock 20 in 10mm is the best way to go.

Do any of you guys actually have military rifles or do most of you just have modern hunting gear or sport rifles that look cool? I was thinking about getting maybe an older WWII tier rifle but I'm still undecided as to if it's worth it over modern stuff.

Modern "hunting rifles" are typically based off of old military rifles, and usually improved for non-military use.

Cleaning, Lube, and Rust prevention for AR-15s.
Hey /k/ whats the BEST solvent, lube, and rust inhibitor for your AR-15. Also,
1. What parts will rust on an AR-15? Do you need to even treat the barrel and handguards as well or just the internals
2. Who here uses grease on their BCG instead of lube? I have been thinking about starting to use that instead because ballistal seems to dry up really quick.

Idk what the best is, but CLP works great for me
>>
>>34713018
1: modern AR-15s rarely NEED to be cleaned. Modern (quality) parts won't rust under normal circumstances but a thin layer of oil before storage is helpful.
All you need to do is just wipe off the carbon fouling and apply some lube.

2: A thicker oil, like 10w30, holds up well but it's not really necessary. The grease will get dirty quick and trap all the fouling.

My advice: Just wipe down the parts with a towel, run a few patches down the barrel, and use a little lube to keep it running.
For long term storage: a thin layer of oil over all metal parts.
>>
>>34713113
Thanks anon, so there is no real reason to ever oil anything that sees normal use?

Ive heard good things about battle born HP oil and grease. I use ballistal now, but like i said, it dries up fast.

You are aware that the compressor for the gas is there, and the fan just cools the compresser, nowhere does it actually absorb anything from the atmosphere. The most Clever way to kill you, op, is just to leave you to die from idiocy

no they would wear a tunic over it as a form of identification.

And under pat they'd wear a gambeson to soften the blow.
>>
>>34712083
They used to cover plate with velvet for aesthetic reasons. I don't know about leather, but it seems reasonable. It would make more sense to just wear a coat, that way you can take it off when needed. What's this scene about?

I was under the impression it was to prevent the wearer from accidentally freezing to his armor.

/k/, i know it's a dick move, but how effective is boobytrapping enemy's dead bodies?

for how long is it gonna produce casualties until the entire enemy army knows that their dead are being boobytrapped?

Sure there's some Vietnam horror stories and such, but it's not really a thing these days. It's not like ww2 where were looting Nazi officers for Luger pistols anymore. A dead Hadji has the clothes on his back and an old AK47 you can't take home anyway. No reason to even fuck with the bodies.

Not OP, but he means to boobytrap enemy dead bodies, so it would be like trying to take another dead friendly soldier's body with you and then dying to the trap.

G19 sized high cap .380

I mean I'm sure it would get a scant few buyers - the CZ83 and the Bersa double stacks sell I guess.

I would consider a .380 double stack glock if it was a cross between the G26 and the G42 - almost as small as a G42 but not as thick as a G26
>>
I have mixed feelings on the 380auto.
I see it as a less powerful 9mm, the size is almost identical. the gun chambered in 380auto is not saving any space at all. if the 380 was actually smaller I would not mind but it is basically the 9mm retarded cousin.

There is even a video of a guy shooting 380autos out of his 9mm glock and the only problem he had was feeding issues from the slightly shorter round. after shooting many shots his gun had no damage at all to the barrel or components.
