First pistol purchase and I can't make my mind between all of them. I've shot with them and the ergos are just right for my manlet hands. I had my mind set on the 226 but saw some reviews and videos on how poor it did in various torture tests. I'll be using my gun exclusively for range but I also want something I can depend my life on if shit hits the fan.
What are each guns pros and cons?

Sig p320
-Modularity
P320: This almost worthless because the "X-Change kits" cost almost as much as a new gun. You could get a compact and just change $50 grip modules for different length magwells, though, which will make one gun a little more or less concealable.
Glock: Grip modules (Gen 4 only). You'll pick one on the first day and never change it again. Maybe you'll want a beavertail though, which they do offer.
-Aftermarket
P320 - small but growing support. Mag extensions, flared magwells, sights, maybe a few other things.
Glock - Largest aftermarket, much of which is crap you don't need. Punisher backplates. Zombie green dildo launchers. Whatever. The factory sights will suck and you'll have to pay to replace them, whereas the P320 comes with high quality sights. $40 mags for sig, Glock 3rd-party mags for as little as $10.
Trigger: "Feel" is largely subjective and both are good enough that people shoot competitively with stock triggers better than you ever will. Both have aftermarket triggers, just a couple for the Sig and dozens for Glock. Glock has that retarded safety tab, Sig doesn't.

If you get an RX model it's a discount on the ROMEO1 sight.
>>34647778
Which one would you conaider to be of higher quality and more reliable?
So I found out the hunting with suppressors is legal in my state. Does /k/ know of any rifles that can shoot subsonic ammo with enough stopping power to humanely kill a dear within 100 feet?
.45-70 would do it, .300 blk would also work.
Honestly though why not just use something like regular .308? The boom from the gun is worse than the crack from supersanic boolit.
>>34647511
How loud is a suppressed .308? I kind of feel that if I am going to go through all of the trouble of getting a suppressor, the suppressor should perform well. Don't want it to half the sound.

Just got my threaded barrel and comp in the mail today
What the heck do I do with my old serialized standard barrel?

Like what's the point of NRR (noise reduction ratings) on earplugs? Imagine your average gun going off at 165 dB. The NRR calculation states that the rating should be subtracted by 7 and then divided by 2. Let's say you have some earplugs with the maximum NRR of 33. That would mean you're exposed to 165 - ((33-7)/2) = 152 dB which would still blow your eardrums to Saigon. So, can someone explain me what the point or rather the reality is of the whole decibel reduction and if it's better to use earmuffs, earplugs or doubling up? Also have you dealt with hearing loss/tinnitus from shooting firearms even when using earpro? Thanks!

Bump Bump
After a certain point, sound will just travel through flesh around your ears, even if you pack two pillows worth of foam into your ears.
>>34647395
Double up with plugs and high rated muffs and you'll be fine. I spent like a week researching this shit and it's extremely complicated but that's the take away.
So I am a Wa resident and had a friend who works for an 502 related company. He recently got his own place and was looking to get his first firearm. Would he be able to buy a firearm, or not as the industry is still illegal federally.
>>34647058
If he smokes marijuana than he is technically ineligible on a 4473
>>34647073
He does not. He just works for a place that processes it for sale.
>>34647161
It doesn't matter because jobs aren't part of NICS. He'll pass the check as long as he's otherwise clean.
BLUF: I ordered a gun, company took too long shipping it (over two weeks), I had to cancel the order, and it took over a month to get the refund, but they did give me a full refund. Should I leave a bad review for the company?
Full version: I ordered a gun in April and the company gave themselves two weeks to ship it. I was leaving for a school soon, and they hadn't shipped the gun so I emailed them a few times to find out why. Never heard back. So I canceled my order, and they said they charge a 20% restock fee. I asked if they would waive it since I was leaving for a military school. They said yes and gave themselves 7 business days to refund it. THey missed that. So I emailed them and they said they would have to email me a check. 5 business days to do it. They didn't do it on time. So two months after placing my order I finally got my money back and the full amount. Should I blast this company else where or just be thankful I got my money back?
Just write the same thing you just posted in the review
Did you pay as a good customer? Yes
Did you get what you paid for? No
Write that bad review.
>>34647219
This.
If you're less than satisfied with anything from the product, to the customer service, it's worth mentioning.
Ben is back with some C308's. Century extended their rebate so you can still get the $50 back. I got mine last time and am pretty happy with it.
Here's the video.

Keep in mind that the black are CA compliant but it should be easy to convert back from coimmieland.

Seriously. With the exception of Wasr-10s and the very few other firearms which were imported by century, not worked on by their teams of monkeys with hacksaws and dremels. This shit really should be in the /k/ sticky.
Anyone get in on these before they changed the price?

What the fuck, is this another Battlefield thread ? Sage and reported.
How about you take the 86s and add an inbuilt silencer so as to not increase the overall length (akin to as val) and add picatinny rails to the top.
IMO this would be the best gun ever created.
No, the Glock and Wesson 45mm FPO is and always will be the best gun ever made. Those guys over at Colt Koch really knew what they were doing.
Bullpup AK conversions are without question the worst bullpups in creation, adding a can does nothing to mitigate that.

The lever that rotates the barrels would be hard as fuck to operate, but other than that I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I honestly don't see a better way to reload it.
