EOD robots have waterjet guns. Water jet guns with an output 30,000–90,000 psi (210–620 MPa) can cut through steel, bones, and kevlar.

Has a water gun ever gotten a kill? Its been 10 years since they were first fielded. So they have to have gotten at least one kill, right?

Any good idea to have this with me in my average day life without anyone noticing it because outside of my house it's illegal..
Its 43cm in length so almost like a machete.

I was thinking about making me a belt so the knife will hang at the left side of my ribs.

Is it good or do you guys knows a better idea?

once rail guns are developed, would it be possible to re-activate the Iowas, and equip them with nuclear reactors. Railguns could even out perform cruise missiles, or they could be used to launch nuclear projectiles.

it would be cheaper to build new ships from the keel up. than to refit the Iowas.

the recoil of 16 inch guns shake the ship hard enough that the reactors would automatically scram.

We were on patrol and we got attacked by a small group of 8 enemy combatants. In the beggining we had no casualities and we pushed forward when an RPG rocket flew past by me, like 1 meter away from me. I just froze and stared at the ground for a few.minutes while a full on firefight was happening around me. In the end we lost 2 man. Ever since that i have flashbacks and nightmares of that RPG flying past by me.

Would prototyping some magazine designs with plastic, 3D printed ammunition work alright do you reckon?

I'm no engineer, but the main factor would just be the geometry of the cartridge, not so much the weight or anything, wouldn't it?

Got my hands on a type 1 AKM bayonett and I'd like some help identifying the blade and scabbard.
The belt loop and safety strap are obviously the Hungarian two-piece design.

The 416 was supposed to be a stopgap measure to make the M4 more reliable in the early 2000s. Back then it looked like the XM8 would be the new army rifle even though it was just a reshelled G36 which itself was based off the AR18.

The big difference is that Colt and other manufacturers and their puppets that profit from the AR design don't fight as hard to kill AR variants. If the 416 was a different rifle with proprietary parts but the same performance it would be dead just like the XM8.
