. Best of your collection thread, and favourite EDC knives. I'm getting this bad boi for 60$.
Best knife I've ever owned is the Domino
>>34729094
Really? Just got mine yesterday. It's aight. I just don't know what it's for exactly. Kind of too thick and heavy for EDC.
Right now my Benchmade 940-1 is my go to EDC knife.

I must say that my favorite knife, not including my custom, is the Spyderco Southard. It's just so damn odd, unique, perfectly made, and fun to play with.
How fast can you clear concealment/duty level retention and place a shot on a 8" circle 7 yards away?
This is a trick question as most of you don't own a shot timer, thus you have never confronted the reality of your handspeed, weapon presentation, target focus, reaction speed and the effects of a situation of duress and stress where you are responding and not deciding.
Most of you shouldn't be allowed to own a pistol let alone carry one, you are children. Funny how every male you've ever met is proficient with the gun he bought 6 years ago and leaves loaded in the night stand - we make fun of him, but then you guys have an equal inexperience of training & practice and carry on top of it, you are so wrapped around your own shallow world view. Holsters without belt line gaps are prolific here, that alone is undisputed evidence of intense cognitive dissonance.

>8" circle 7 yards
>not NRA B-8 at 25
>holsters without belt line gaps
>>34836242
Shooting a B8 at 25 is bullseye proficiency - I never suggested that wasn't a valuable ability
But vehicle distance with rapid weapon presentation and hits inside the commonly understood thoracic region are a lot more important from practical context - and that is the framing of my initial quandary/supposition.

Is it just one of you making these threads or is this a group effort?
The way he's implying North Korea would be destroyed very quickly wouldn't be accurate in describing a conventional war with artillery pounding Seoul and zealous NK commandos zerg rushing over the border.
It sounds like Trump's recent statements are channeling Truman's hint-threats before the A-bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. Like he's hinting at thermonuclear weapons being used in anger for the first time OR some kind of hidden technology.
Is he going to just fire ICBMs at them and get endless shit for it? Or is there some sort of black triangle/rods from god/death ray type shenanigans the US has up it's sleeve?
>>34834210
Trumps rhetoric serves the same purpose as the "Madman" rhetoric of Nixon.
He wants to appear irrational, because otherwise threats do not appear credible. It's an often-romanticized policy that captured the imagination of a lot of non-politicians at the time. I mean, what if Trump were to say "Yadda Yadda red line Yadda Dialogue something something sanctions" instead. Predictable, and game-able.
>>34834297
Yeah but he fired missiles at Syria at an airbase where the Russians had to run away as the missiles were in flight to not start an international crisis
Maybe he is a bit mad???
>>34834314
Maybe he needed to establish his willingness to use force to pass a shit test early in his presidency.
And even if a few Russians had died, it would have been a significant incident, but not a crisis. There was no pathway for escalation in that scenario.

strips itself apart after 3000 rounds
Pic related, minimal, super light, low profile, pretty bright in the dark.
Don't need to switch out when wearing casual or formal. No NATO straps, no useless chronometers, no disgusting complex dials.
Swiss made, not jap or chink.

>Not useless chronometer
>Not having the need to take into account valuable seconds
>Operator
I respectfully disagree
>>34829512

Honestly, you should probably stick to digital watches if you can't understand the use of these features.

For what purpose?
RN fag here,
why dont the US navy take care of their ships?
all the US ships i have seen look as if nobody on board even does any work.
>inb4 age of ship. paint does wonders you lazy fucks.
that rust is nothing really.
also, you cant exactly paint everything on the hull when your ships are actually out doing things.
>>34829260
>also, you cant exactly paint everything on the hull when your ships are actually out doing things.
>Alex, I'll take the category "Excuses undisciplined troops have used for the slovenliness since Tacitus" for $500.
>>34829260
actually you can. we do it at least once a month or sooner if we see rust patches.

>Cheap as fuck
>Up armored like fucking tank

I'm looking to buy an m9 or an L9, are either good?
>>34825023
I'm biased since I own an M9, but they're both excellent pistols. The only difference is the M9 is mid-size and the L9 is full-size so it just depends on what your preference is.
Some people say the L9 is better balanced.
For those interested, armslist.com has a Steyr M9A1 contest going on:

I was 8 but my mom might have let me go
Yeah- I should have/
Give me one good reason not to stock up on soylent.
>don't want to eat it on a regular basis
>i want it available as a last resort food source
>want it to avoid malnutrition
This or UN emergency rations. I'm considering using Soylent as a replacement for emergency rations
The idea is I get a little bit of this every month and then eventually if SHTF i have a basic no bullshit way to get nutrition without starving that won't ever spoil
Reasons I can see:
>get bored of the taste
// who cares it's for emergencies
>there are some things that plant and animals provide that soylent can't nutritionally, like flavinoids and polyphenols
// this can't be used IMHO as the only food source but it's a better alternative than keeping hard tack or UN rations. Literally it is better than nothing
>>34824420
Buy it in bags not in tubs.
Each bag is 1 days meal . 2000 cal
Ive been living off it for 6 months.

Because it's people.
What gun will replace the M4 as the main rifle of the US military in the future?
>>34823467
CZ Bren 806. As good as the FN SCAR (or better) and half the cost.
>>34823497
What makes it better? Genuinely curious, because I love Czechnology.
