What are /k/'s thoughts on Oath Keepers?
These autistic LARPers showed up at Charlottesville yesterday, did nothing but take up space and give the media a field day.
These cunts show up to protests with assault rifles and full operator gear, and just mill about. Most pics you'll see them wearing vests with pockets for magazines but they're usually empty save for the occasional snack bar

Alright, /k/, it's time to redpill me on the Arisaka.
The usual gun show I go to typically only has 2-3 Arisakas in the whole lot, but the last time I went there were about 20 or so that I saw, most of them with mums intact for $300-$400. One guy explained to me that the WW2 generation that brought them back is dying out and a lot of them are going into trade circulation because of it.
I've always casually wanted an Arisaka for my collection, but with the variety that seems to be available now, I'm really considering putting in the cash for it.
I saw type 99s, navy trainers, carbines, etc all with different types of markings and some with woodburned Japanese on the stocks. Is there any type of Arisaka in particular I should go for? Something that would be decent quality with mum intact but nothing so valuable or rare that I would be hesitant to shoot it every now and then.

Like all milsurp, they're cool to have because of all the history behind them. Get one if you love that history, but keep in mind that you won't shoot it a lot because ammo for the Arisaka is rare and expensive even when you can find it.

They probably bought them for more than they're worth right now since the new ones are so cheap, and they won't sell them for a loss.
I picked up a surplus M&P from buds a year ago when they were a lot cheaper than new ones, if I were in that market right now I'd just go with the new one. I highly doubt anyone is buying them because they were police guns, they're not even marked as such.
How do we weaponize this contraption?

It is actually one of the surprising things no one ever mentions. There is always this damning THINK OF THE CHILDREN mentality when it comes to restricting 2A but these massive protests prove that even when we hate each other to brawl in the streets no one is pulling out their gun and just firing into the crowd.

fewguns here, really wanna get my first real semiauto rifle.
I've settled on getting the Ruger AR 556 or a WASR 10 but I need some help making the decision. The AR seems to be a cut and dry purchase and I dig the cheap modularity but honestly I love the aesthetics of an AK and feel like I would enjoy firing and maintaining it more. The problem is I hear the canted sights/mag wobble thing that apparently those made before 2008 have but there's no telling when one was made if I order it. And I also have a feeling the AR is just a better gun for a beginner. Anyway any input is appreciated, thanks.

Canted sights still happen on WASRs but it's far less than it was years ago. Inspect the rifle in question before buying.
If you want to know if a WASR is made after 2008, check the left side of the receiver, above the pistolgrip, if it's from after 2008, it should have the scope mount on the there.
Optionally you can always look at a Yugo NPAP, though it won't be able to use furniture for normal AKs (they have a different setup for attachments, meaning if you want to change them you need to get Yugo specific ones).

Guys, one of my shooting buddies wants to trade me his Gen II M70 NPAP for my M92 PAP (pic related)
I'm really tempted as I'd love to out some dinged up Balkan War furniture on it.
Is this a good trade? Also would include the red furniture and the regular blonde furniture/grip that came with it. Also the sling/Krink brake and SB-47 brace.
