1st for workday postan
This probably doesn't deserve it's own thread but
Itt. you explain the rhodesian bush war as simply and accurately as you can.
I can't seem to get my head around why and who the lads in green short shorts were fighting for.
>>35161758
Niggers ruin everything.
>>35161758
Anon, I know this is off topic, but could you please post some of those for me while you do this thread?
I'm feeling' pretty shit and just wanna remember the days when I could just contribute to /k/ and not having fucktards ruin my sleep and my lurking.
I'll post my FAL if you do this for me.
>>35161758
>Rhodesia thread
>try to talk about aesthetics and how awesome Selus Scouts were
>triggered /leftypol/ faggot ruins thread cause pet niggers got rekt
>now Zimbabwe is a "non white paradise" ie, a hellhole
RIP.
Theoretically, if I was going to get a pair of sap gloves, which ones would /k/ recommend?
Or should I just try to make my own?
If I order online do I have to worry about rousing suspicion for buying a weapon?

>If I order online do I have to worry about rousing suspicion for buying a weapon?
Right out the gate
A. What country do you live in
B. If the US what state do you live in
If the answer to A. Is anything but MURIKA then your are buying a novelty weapon that will get you assraped in court if you use it/a visit from the ministry of peace and tolerance. If the answer to B. Is anything other than a state with rock solid stand your ground, concealed carry, castle doctrine, and extends lethal force to the protection of property then you are fucked if you use it.
Answer to A. Being America pt.2; just buy a gun
Answer to B. Being a uncucked state in America; just buy a gun
I don't want to bring a gun with me everywhere I go though. Also a lot of places don't allow them.
What knife / Multi-tool does /k/ carry?
>>35161476
>multi-tool
>not just opening/prying things open with your bare hands.
>>35161476
thinking about replacing it with an esee-3
>>35161476
I like the DEUS VULT grips, but I kinda wish kek steel made a version with wood grips.
POV/ADS thread. Gun porn
Post your latest purchases, anything /k/ related.
>>35161356
>>35161556
>.45 auto
Well done, anon
I got the Schmidt on the top 3 days ago.
What does /k/ think is the ultimate outdoor handgun?
My pick
Ruger GP100 .357 mag 4 inch
>stainless steel version is more rust proof
>built like a tank Ruger, the most durable easily obtainable revolver in production
>Reliable regardless of ammo, from rat shot .38 to 200 grain .357 hard casts and anything in between
>Can be shot accurately at distance with cocking it into single action
The only other handgun I think can compete is a Mark 23 or USP loaded with .45 Super
>>35161291
I like the ruger blackhawk convertible in the same caliber but I think yours is better desu
I just love the fact that hand loading manuals have a "blackhawk only" section
>>35161291
How outdoors are we talking?
My bring it hiking but don't lug around a brick gun is a 3" S&W model 60 pro 5 shot 357 mag. I have buffalo bore 180gr hard casts for it. They hurt a little but I could probably shoot 3 of them before crying like a baby.
>>35161291
Glock 20 long slide with bufflo bore rounds. That's enough firepower to put fear into any skinwalker.
All right. Cough it up-
Who here played the Tank Dating Simulator?
I know statistically ONE of you must have.
>ONE of you must have
Are you stupid? It was made by a bunch of /k/ommandos, the dev team IS /k/
Speaking of, is it finished yet? Where can I get/play it?
>>35161223
waaaaaaat? I want to play it.
Hi Lads,
It's the guy who had a serious desire to buy an uzi here. It turns out one of my local ranges has an automatic uzi for rent. I'm going to shoot it this weekend, and if I love it I'm buying a semi-auto uzi.
Let's discuss uzis.
>>35161137
how's an uzi receiver put together?
it's stamped metal right?
for some reason i had the vague thought that it was heavily machined.
>>35161159
Heavy 2mm sheet metal, similar to an rpk
I am glad you are back. I hope you find the UZI to be a good option. Trust your heart anon, all my best firearm purchases came from doing that.
I have never shot an UZI, but I have held a few, and they feel beautiful.
Do US soldiers get issued wallets / watches?
>>35161078
No you have to buy those at the PX
>>35161078
Can't speak for soldiers but was a marine grunt.
Wallet - they don't care, not even on gear list
Watch - This is something they did expect you to have, but wouldn't issue. Itd be on the gear list. So of course we'd bitch because it's a requirement that makes you spend your own money. That's why I had a $12 cassio. Mostly just to set an alarm to show up for formation or wake up for firewatch. I didn't enjoy guys shaking me awake, and there's times (especially the years I was in) a cell phone isn't/can't be your clock.
Also any operating watch needs a dimly lit back light for the night.

>>35161165
What the... how selfish is the US military.
Please, post some of the great ammo and firearms deals going on right now. I'm curious about which sites to watch.
I checked the catalog first, may have missed the thread if there already is one.
The only sites I know of for gun deals are:
>Slickguns.com(now guns.deals)
>Plamettostatearmory.com
>Budsgunshop.com
annnnnnnnd that's it.
>>35161077
>Implying anyone is going to reveal their go to spot so your lazy ass doesn't need to find it.
> r gundeals
>>35161077
I've been getting reman ammo from ammovalley.com
It's freedom ammunition's store of blems and seconds.
I know that sounds super sketchy but everything has gone great so far. Had one 38 special that took two primer strikes, zero other issues.
Prices are like Tula prices for brass cased non garbage.
What is being a tanker like?
>>35160701
Loud, cramped, dirty, noisy, and fun.
>>35160720
Sounds a lot better than being a grunt, though I also heard that tankers are expected to pull all-nighters when on-mission. How much would that affect their response times, even taking into the adreneline rush?
>>35160701
You spend 9 months doing nothing but work in the motorpool, 2-4 weeks of gunnery, then 1-2 months of random ftx and ntc.
Am depressed and need some cheering up. Let's have a thread about '90s and early 2000's firearms that were seen as futuristic and promising.
>>35160694
>>35160697
Hey Califags, how are you all holding up?
Also, will there be another panoche meet this year? Couldn't make it to the last one because of work (ugh).
