I've owned an H&K USP45.
Liked the gun, hated the caliber. It's much better suited for a heavier metal-framed pistol.
Owned a P2A1, very over-engineered flare pistol but that's kinda nice.
Can't stand the G3/PTR-91. Love the idea. Hate the execution. Godawful control layout and balance. MP5 is much better.

It's cheaper. It has a telescoping bolt layout so it's a bit more compact. That's about it.

UZI has blowback operation which means it throws a heavy-ass bolt back and forth between each shot. That bolt makes the gun heavy and being simple blowback the RPM is too damn high. It also has a shit-tier 90 degree grip angle and a tiny foregrip that's good for blowing your non-dominant hand off.
Worse yet the magazines feed the cartridges at an angle and wear out easily. It's pretty much designed for follower tilt. MP5 magazine is way better thought out, but then again it doesn't heave to feed into the grip so it doesn't have to work around those design limitations.
the non reciprocating charging handle on the top also obstructs the use of any sighting devices.

Also the MP5 has a lower/more controllable RPM, lighter bolt/overall weight, better selector throw, better charging handle position, foregrip is either long enough or incorporates a hand stop. Only mixed bag is being closed bolt it doesn't cool as easily, but that same feature vastly aids precision.

Basically, there's a reason that the MP5 has almost universally eclipsed the UZI in all roles where it can be acquired.

Anything Chinese is all pre-1994. But we can still get shotguns because the State Department only has jurisdiction over Rifle and Handguns, so Chinese shotguns weren't affected.

Can you process prey of that size? Do you get someone else to do it?

The M40 is basically a custom rifle built off a Remington 700 action. They have free floating barrels, they're accurized and have better triggers. Better barrels. They're way better than an off-the-shelf 700. You could have a 700 made into a m40a1 by a gunsmith.

You can do this with irons...spend the money on ammo, get to an Appleseed rifle class and LEARN how to shoot. If you can't hit shit at 350 yards with irons, you won't be able to with a red dot. Hardware does not supplement good fundamentals.
