Would you ever return a war trophy?
285 posts and 46 images submitted.
>>
Depends on the trophy. Letters and Dog tags? Probably. Weapons and jewelry? Probably not.
>>
>>34872415

Depends on what it was.

If it was a symbol of the nation like that flag, then probably not. That's just conquest and a sign of victory.

If it was something personal, like a diary or family photo, then I might, if only symbolically (since that dude is probably dead if I have it). Taking something personal is usually for (negative) personal reasons, so that's not something I want to think I would hold onto, no matter what kind of shitty place I was in when I took it.

Okay, /k/, three of these little fuckers just wandered ten feet in front of my house and chased my cat, and tried to corner my dog.

It's time to end these little bastards, because it'll just get worse over the winter, and I won't even be here to defend my property and pets, and I fucking know the person staying at my house fucking wont.

I want to send these faggots to the nth dimension.

Best method?

I have no projects and the funds for a new one, I was thinking to do a m16a4 clone but I think it would be more original and awesome to recreate the survivalists rifle but I want to nail down some features

So far, I'm starting with an 80% and getting it properly engraved, planning on .50 Beowulf upper with middy 16" but sourcing the wood is going to be a trouble I think. Does /k/ have any insights to the build?

Looks like an A1 with wood furniture and zipties
>>
>>34860194
A1 upper, a1 lower.
HAS to be in .50 beowulf (the survivalist rifle is in 12.7mm and as such so shoild your build.
Obviously weathered wood furniture and some bands to go along the handguard.

how does it cycle?

100 ranges were chosen to unveil the two new models (from what I gather).
The new models won't be for sale until the 29th of August, but on the 26th people can go shoot them at these 100 chosen ranges.

It's a single action, hammer fired pistol compatible with standard glock magazines. The safety sits just below the dominant hand thumb and is naturally swept downwards while acquiring a firing grip. When in the fire position, the safety sits flush with a small ridge beneath the safety ensuring that it is not accidentally swept into the safe position. The trigger is comparable to 800 dollar 1911's and will retail at an estimated 650 dollars. Expect a slightly high street price as projected sales out pace production.

Quite the imagination you got there

So it's happened /k/, the whiny ass leftists/antifa/BLM/whatever the flavor of day is coming to your town/city/University. Would you rally your fellow /k/omrades to create a uniformed unit (going the whole 9 here) and hold your ground or advance as the Romans did in a phalanx? Hell, even if you wanted to just make a presence and go the nonviolent route, I wanna hear how you would gear up and make shields/defense tools.

How do I get familiar with using firearms and eventually get a gun license in NJ? Also- I'm gonna be in a college dorm and I don't think they're gonna let me keep any kind of weapon there. ALSO- I've been on pills for depression in the past, that won't get in the way will it?

Find some friends with guns/find a range with rentals. Try a bunch of different guns, find what you like
>NJ
Can't help you there, friend. I just fled cuckfornia at the first available opportunity.
>college dorm
No fly zone. You could potentially get a safe and stash a pistol inside. Transport it in a back pack to the range. Have a secondary, non description case that you can lock and put in the back pack. Probably not going to be able to start much of a collection until you're on you own in a real home.
>>
>>34888158
If youve ever been on mental health meds there's virtually zero chance of you getting a gun unless you go to your doctor and get a note saying you're not crazy. Even then you would have to appeal the Police's rejection of your FPID application and either have a court hearing or a set up a meeting with your loca PD to discuss the situation.

An aussie I know is about to transition from noguns to hasguns, he's looking for a .22 and (if applicable) an optic for it.

I'm inclined to recommend a Savage FV-SR, Nikon Prostaff-22, and CCI Quiet rounds, but I'd like the opinions of some anons more familiar with upside down gun laws than I am to weigh in.

He wants the rifle for target shooting and varmint control, but if it can do dual duty for home defense in the interim between his purchase of it and his purchase of a centerfire that's even better.

It seems that a lever action with a king's port loading gate that's also drilled and tapped would be ideal, but I am unsure of whether or not such a thing exists, let alone is available in koala country.

I seek your blessing; what are your thoughts, /k/ommandos?

Ausfag here

>Savage FV-SR
Cannot say I've used that particular gun, but Savage make decent guns. I use a Savage Mk3 in .22lr and it's a very nice gun to shoot, very accurate, reliable and cheap gun. Anything Savage should be a good budget gun.

>Nikon Prostaff-22
It's a .22 so any scope that's not complete shit will be fine. This one looks fine.

I don't know if I'd bother recommending a particular bullet. They're .22s so he can just buy a packet of everything and see what works the best.

>He wants the rifle for target shooting and varmint control, but if it can do dual duty for home defense in the interim between his purchase of it and his purchase of a centerfire that's even better
That gun will be fine for that. Probably terrible for home defense but better than a sharp stick.
Tell him to not to mention "home defense" or anything remotely similar when buying it.

There's a million brands of lever-action .22, I have no idea what a king's port loading gate is but I'm sure they're for sale here.
>>
>>34887733
The right answer is: A Henry .22 carbine with a Nikon P-Rimfire scope.
>>
>>34887811
king's port loading gate is the mechanism for feeding cartriges straight into the magazine tube on the right hand of the receiver in picrelated, for reference.

One piece is a bit more idiot proof if you're an idiot.

depends on how much rail space is on the gun. 2 is fine if you have the space and are not an idiot.
