I love kayak fishing and have been taking my normal edc with me whenever I go. The problem is that every time I go I get baptized in salt water. I was thinking about going with a shoulder holster because it wouldn't get as wet as pocket carry. Any ideas on keeping my gun on me while avoiding as much salt water as possible.

While cleaning out her dead mother's house, my mother in law found a few old ass boxes of 16 gauge shotgun shells.
No sign of the 16 gauge yet, but an old cheap 32 revolver was found (Clerke 1st if you are curious).
Anyway, What does one do with probably 30 year old shotgun shells? Can I just dump them in a dumpster somewhere?

I read a lot about how I should be practising dry fining to improve my aim and that it's best to use snap caps.
So I've gone and bought some but I get a failure to eject each time which is really annoying and breaks my concentration. What am I doing wrong?

Failure to eject from the snapcap? Put one in the chamber and pull you slide back slowly, if it doesn't jump out check your extractor. If it does, load another and grip your slide with far too much pressure and pull back into your chest. If that 2nd round ejects it means you're letting your hand fly off the slide before it's fully back.
