Alright so I bought a CZ P10. Because you know. Hype. Gun ships to my FFL, I pick it up. I fuckin dont like the way it feels. At all. I want to sell it. I put it on armslist for 470 (I paid 510 total after shipping and transfer fee). I figure I'd rather deal with it quickly so I'll take a little bit of a loss on it. In the post I said "NO TRADES PLEASE". Then I get 10 fuckin e-mails about trades. And a couple of jokers offering me $400. I'm losing faith in gun owners. Anyways. Where is the best place to sell a gun without getting jerked around. I want it gone, but not if I'm going to take a $100 loss on it. Fuckin brand new gun. Fuck that.

End rant. Help me /k/

A Chinese general was questioned by state media about the state of the Chinese military in a war against America. When asked if China could defeat them this was his response.

"We would completely crush America, especially the Jews. Their militaries simply do not stand a chance, America is weak. We have the ability to take all of Asia in under 1 week. America would immediately surrender or we would occupy Washington DC just like Tibet. Our military is the greatest and strongest in the world. No country can even hope to match us."

He was then asked how China would achieve this.

"We could easily just drive west and nothing could stop us. America cannot even defeat Chinese tanks from The Great Patriotic War of Korea let alone modern ones. They mistakenly rely on their air forces which are impotent against air defense."

When asked about America's nuclear strike capability the General simply stated the following.

"HQ-19 and HQ-29 make all nuclear ICBMs and bombers obsolete, China is simply untouchable."

Well /k/, is he right?

Are melee weapons for defense a meme, /k/? At work they wouldn't let me carry a knife, but I was allowed to carry a machete. Got pretty used to swinging it around, and I feel like it would do well in a close quarters situation. If not a machete, what's the ideal melee home defense weapon?

How the fuck do you fight effectively with a sword?

It seems like you'd only ever have two, maybe three swings before you're out of gravity or momentum energy and are in a necessarily disadvantageous position.

How are you meant to maintain pressure on a parrying or dodging enemy with a sword other than a greatsword or other de-facto two-handed pole-arm?

I've been thinking about getting a gun, either something modern (or replica) or something made in the 20s/30s chambered in one of the x-x type calibers.

I've narrowed down my preferred choice to either .32-20 or .38-40, and I can definitely get plenty of ammo and reloading stuff for them both, but I'm not sure which one I want.

On the one hand, .38-40 is pretty potent, especially with smokeless. But .32-20 is hard-hitting, too, and it has the added endorsement of Theodore Roosevelt, who, as Police Commissioner of New York City, had all officers equipped with it (IIRC). Plus, there's a song named after it.

They looks hideous, not as aesthetically pleasing. Doesn't even look modern, like a caveman's bat. Only men would like this. Comapre this to the American neo-modern designs that even gays would love. I'd say it would be better for Russia to tighten their budget and buy Chinese instead.

What was pre-gunpowder warfare like?
Did men really just run into the other army? How did they over come that fear?

I imagine maybe they would stop feet from each other and just taunt or throwing things until something would set it off and they would start killing. Watching the protest between antifa and nazis maybe looked similar.
