I've been trying to find a east German MPI KM lately, no luck. Any pointers, friends?
Atlantic has some.

Whats their deal are they like good or what I've never really got whats going on
they look like /k/ roleplayers who are probably just as shit as them and depend on other countries tech/training
Less shit than Saudia Arabia, but not by much.

I searched talon defense medical training and they showed up instantly. Next time ask your mom to spoon feed you.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN WE JUST FUCKING END THIS!!!
This fucking war has been such a damn cock tease I swear, every time the North makes any noise everyone says we are gonna have a war and everyone is ready then nothing happens! I'm tired of hearing the same thing every year and everyone pretending anything will happen. I just want it to fucking pop off so we can get this out of the way at this point and so I can Finnaly end this endless tease.
Also Korean General.

Exact same OP as an identical thread from 8/k/. Way to be original.
I do approve of a Korea containment thread however, until the shit blows over.
What's your opinions on takedown rifles? Are rifles like the DRD Paratus and similar rifles worth the price? Is there any significant difference in accuracy/reliability between a takedown and a similarly-priced mode of rifle that doesn't collapse.
>>34837951
The odds of anyone on /k/ having hands on experience on that product or comparable is very slim, not un-heard of, but slim. Go check snipers hide or something, they might be able to tell ya.
>>34837983
I checked the site, and The only actual discussion on it is 5 years old. Anyone have any experience in takedown rifles in general?
>>34837951
Gonna get their fucking ridiculously over priced take down kit(it's just a fucking barrel nut and handguard)
Wondering how accurate it is compared to a normal ar15 barrel nut.
How were Black Powder rifles fitted to use Smokeless Powder, if it's so dangerous ? Examples of BP rifles that shoot SP are the Kropatschek rifle, the Jarmann M1884, the M1870 Vetterli, the Martini-Metford...
It's not dangerous if 1. you keep your loadings under the maximum recommended and 2. the gun in question is not shit. Sure, if you stuff the case with a fast-burning smokeless powder, it's going to go kaboom. That's even true of modern rifles.
How did they figure what a safe smokeless load was? I'd guess trial-and-error.
>>34837798
by simply having good enough metallurgy and a strong action. good metallurgy equal to that found in smokeless only rifles existed prior to 1886 and those rifles built robustly enough to handle the increase in pressure were chosen to 'convert'. it wasn't always a conversion as the only thing they had to change on some rifles was the sights. I have a steyr kropatschek and I have no idea if the sights were updated but I'd assume so because they go up to 2200 meters. the steyr 1888/90 also only had new sights fitted but it's a much weaker action than the kropatschek and it was bordering on unsafe if not beating the hell out of those rifles.
>>34838084
They actually proof tested them, generally with 4 times the average load to be used.
>tfw you put a brand new scratch on your gun every time you disassemble or attempt to clean it
who else is retarded
>don't know how to properly fit my 2 point sling
>don't know how to properly fit my atlas g hook belt I've been wearing for a year
>don't know how to use my hill people gear kit bag
>been carrying for a year, tried a multitude of quality holsters and everything prints excessively bad, no gun sucks into my body
I just straight up don't know how to use anything that involves straps, fasteners, triglides or any of that shit. Fucking nylon, how does it work?
>>34837706
If your gun doesn't have scratches you're not using it right
>>34837706
What are you scratching and what tools are you using...?
>>34837942
But you don't have to abuse the fucker like your waifu pillow.

lol, all that swap meet online shit
the AK generals are horrendous on this board
For being one of the most popular manuals on building your own gun that isn't a single shot, just how much better is it than any other "DIY" gun manual? Why is it so popular?
>>34837236
I'll go out on a limb and say because of how common 9mm is.
Unfortunately I don't have any garage built giggle switch guns that would give me some first hand experience to better answer your question.
>>34837236
It uses standard imperial sizes for everything, was actually tested and was a giant 'fuck you' to guncontrol faggots.
it isn't the best or most polished but it is the most widley known,

>Yfw sccy is that much better than a hi point that the ATF actually has all purchases of it by anyone as a red flag because criminals are now using literally nothing else
What a drama queen. His "proof" is a story about a guy who bought 4 handguns at one time, but he's not mentioning (or worse, doesn't know) that the FFL would have submitted those serial numbers to the ATF, as required of multiple handgun purchases within a 5 day period. It's not like the ATF is notified every time someone buys one SCCY pistol at any given time.
>>34836959
>buy sccy
>it breaks because lol stolen keltec design
>have atf show up and shoot my dog because sccy = criminal now
So basically I buy a sccy I lose my dog?
;_;

That makes more sense than you think. In urban settings against cartel suvs and armored cars those kinds of short ranged anti material rifles are great.
US Coast Guard uses them too in helis with holo sights to disable boat engines and such too.
Seems like a pretty nice setup, i doubt they'd need full auto .50 cal at any point, semi auto is just fine for stopping vehicles and whatnot.
Cartels have some scary shit, I'd want a meme rifle too.
How do you maintain opsec when your generals are compromised?
>>34836719
send them off on 'useful' assignments out of the way of the actual important stuff
Should I buy one of these? Anyone know if they have a good reputation?

Or, alternatively, would anyone like to recommend to me the best air rifle capable of easily killing squirrels that is $200 or less?

/k/ this is a question I've been worried about for awhile and I think it's coming to a head and want to hear some varied advice:
A few years ago I was in a situation where I acted stupidly, specifically someone in my college was basically stalking me, being very odd around me. One day I was walking to class and he chased me down. I had a pocket knife on me and I pulled it out, and he stopped short, fell down and I yelled at him,
"Leave me alone or I'm calling the cops."
I walked away he walked away. Turns out someone saw this, called the police (which I wish I had, that would have changed everything). Long story short I got charged with Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, and plead nolo contest (it was in Florida) and they gave me Adjudication Withheld, to which I did complete the probation with no issue.
Skip ahead ~6 years I got an engineering degree and am *very* close to finally getting a job (job market sucks right now) and it's in NY where they aren't allowed to do a background check until AFTER they have given you a provisional offer. I am now not sure what to do. From what I have read, because no other state has "Adjudication Withheld" every other state treats it like a conviction, even though in Florida it is expressly not (you can still vote, own a gun ect) so I cannot see how this won't come up and present a problem. And for an engineering job, I don't know how they will react. I am pretty sure they will ask my permission some time next week to run the back ground check and I don't know what to do, if I should pre-empt an explanation or what. Anyone know what to do? I feel very fucked by the past and not sure what the hell I'm supposed to do.
Will bump with weapon stuff/jokes.
