Is this a good deal

In today's market I'd say yes. I want to say when I bought my Saiga from Atlantic the Maadis they had for sale at that time were around $700-800 and AKs have only gotten more expensive since. Definitely better chances for reliability than any recently built kits that are everywhere

You can get a Hungarian AMD for $430 at classicfirearms.

Barrel is made of butter, will shoot out after little use.
Hello you.
Can you tell me why LMGs are called light machine guns. I mean why light they look fucking huge and heavy, is it all a fucking joke?
>>34873628
Compared to an M2?
Because they're smaller than gpmgs and hmgs.
>>34873628
They are light compared to medium machine guns. Compare an m249 or mg4 to an m240 or mg3.
Can you guys read this?
Other side.
God damn it why is it sideways
Ich verstaich ein bissen deutsch, but that handwriting is too uh handwirtingly, cryptic
>>34873513
someone once explained to me that the way they wrote back then was a lot different than the way they do know. Ive had it for a while, never knew what it said.
Seems a bit more reasonable than a davy crockete or alluh ackbar flower delivery.

>seems a bit more reasonable than a davy crocket
Why not both?

Nuclear depth charges are already in service. Dropped from anti-submarine helicopters, I imagine they will more than spill the coffee in a submarine...
>>34873881
Probably waters down the coffee with sea water almost instantly.
How many commies could Cantwell take on with his arsenal? Skip to 19:05.

If he shoots himself first he'd probably disperse the entire crowd all at once.

Damn, Chris got pretty buff

Dude couldn't even handle a little pepper spray without crying like a pussy.
Would you CC it /k/?

It needs to be the Kiken-Killer Kurz in NEIN Niggermeter.

I have been interested in "home" reloading, reloading brass with buying anything, for a while now.
I've successfully made powder, projectiles and even a few pieces of brass.
What is the best way to make primers at home?
*without
>>34872144
Unfortunately while powder can be homebrewed, primers are such an exact and sensitive component of the bullet that it's very difficult to synthesize. I would start by keeping all spent primers and reforming the anvil inside. Or fill it with the same materials those 'TNT POP-ITS' are made with
Also check out youtube. I think somebody has some material but I remember it being harder to find than just searching "homemade primers"
good luck
>>34872144
Ive heard of making primers from mercury fulminate, its rather sensitive and extremely corrosive. I believe it was used in early percussion caps..
Ive tried making primers from strike anywhere match heads and cap gun caps (Both the 6 shot rings and the 50 shot strips) and had marginal and inconsistent success.
Ive thought of the idea of cannibalizing 22LR rimfire for the priming compound.
Also what was your mix for powder?
Greetings from germanistan
its 999,00€
would this be a kit to convert a SL8
they claim its original parts only missing "german compliant gunlaw" parts
and link ofc

>>34871913
how much is a barrel and where to get it?
same the bolt lock.
>>34871919
Those german pussy cucks won't ship to the US.
What gun is this? All I know is that it probably belonged to my grandmothers father and it's not in very good condition.
some belgian pinfire, maybe a lefaucheux
>>34871894
You beat me to it, so I'll just agree. This is one of the models that were copied with and without license by half the world for a decade or two, so take any markings with a dubious eye. A few of these guns made it into the American Civil war but so did several dozen other designs.
What are some good value progressive loaders?
Also, reloading thread.
>>34871739
pretty much anything "Lee" is great to start on.
If my plan is to reload high volume, but don't know if I'll enjoy it should I buy single stage and potentially then progressive or go to progressive from start?
>>34871739
The brass I ordered and the brass ive gotten from shooting hornady .45-70 are different lengths, is this a big deal? Should I just stick to the starline ive bought?
bonus points for rare ones

What is the best type of Slav brand Slav balaclava? Where to find Russian military/ what kind do they use. And best choices.
>>34871369
Personally I prefer a shemag over a balaclava. It's more versatile and can be worn in cold weather or used to keep the sun/dust off your face when you're mowing.
Yeah I know the hipster fags have totally co-opted it, but that doesn't make it any less functional.
>>34871369
I've been trying to find out what this serbian mesh "mask" is for a while, with no luck.
Anyone have any clues?

When milsurp guns get sporterized, they often have the long extenstion of the barrel unshrouded. why do so many rifles, even to this day, have the barrel covered the entire length?
>>34871352
Because grunts drop shit.
>>34871352
Same reason to circumcise: it looks sleeker and is easier to keep clean.
>>34871360

This, and also so you can grab it without burning you hand during hand to hand combat.
Just built my AR, where's that army rifle shooting manual that gets posted on here?
Pic related.
