So an Air Force recruiter came up to me today at a grocery market and asked me if I was interested in joining the military.
Ever since I was 10, I wanted to join the Air Force or Navy specifically because of the technology at their disposal, but I also don't want to be recruited and have to get involved in any unnecessary wars or die for Israel.
Is joining the military worth the risk? What branch is the best to join for engineers?

I rarely shoot for speed but for accuracy. Most of the time I am either plinking or trying to make a single jagged hole in the paper. The only time shooting for speed even exists in my shooting habits comes into play with a black powder musket and any shot clock would freak out like heck at 20+ seconds per shot when I am not aiming.

No, it would be shit because the diameter is smaller and there are no .357/.44/.50ae breaching rounds that I'm aware of.

Why do self-defence missiles have a maximum target speed?
I understand if you want to do area defence you might be engaging a crossing target so you need tot be fast enough to catch up.
But if a ballistic missile in its final in atmosphere phase, or hypersonic weapon is heading towards you, then why shouldn't your slower missile be able to place itself between the ship and the incoming threat?
