Is it just an cheeky Irish meme? Is baseball bat more efficient seeing as I can buy one anywhere?
>>34894183
You can just make a variety of maces to stick in your umbrella pot.
Maces are cool, okay?

Baseball bat
Aren't the tips filled with lead for extra power?
Does anyone in America make a nice smg?
>>34894054
My grandmother makes a mean smg.
There might be a few but new production fully automatic weapons are not available to civilians and small assault rifles have largely eclipsed the role of SMGs in military and police doctrine. H&K MP5s and UMPs are the most common where SMGs are still used. Occasionally a P90.
So no. Not really. There isn't enough demand.
Sig MPX, but don't drop it unless you want to recreate that staircase scene from True Lies.
how effective was flak in WW2? was it a meaningful threat to bombers, ground attack planes and fighters or just a vain response to enemy air superiority? did it cause a large portion of losses?
It was arguably effective as a deterrent in that it forced bombers out of more accurate low altitude attack profiles, making bombing far less damaging. However the real losses to bombers were inflicted by fighters.
It was extremely effective.
The Germans used targeting computers to guide multiple batteries on target as the bombers came into range.

Hello /k/ i just bought a second hands crye g3 36L, but im afraid since my waist is aprox. 36.5 so will they fit? Does crye make their sizes a bit bigger than they say?
>spending $400 on pants tat might not fit
>>34892300
There is a waist adjustment system. I wear 34Rs and use 32R G3s, you'll be fine.
>>34892300
Ever hear of a belt?
Just some good old fashion fun, post whatever.
>>34892272
What the fuck are you doing without a FAL in africa. Cecil would be unhappy...
>>34892272
Hey /k/ommandos
Remember how the R51 totally didn't live up to the hype and got generally shit on upon release?
Well, seeing as they're about $300 now, and disregarding the pre-release hype, what do you think?
Still shit? Rem finishes still rust if you have a cold glass of water in the same room?
It's remshit, so buy at your own behest, I heard they fixed some of the issues that plagued Gen 1, but it's extremely finicky about what you feed it.
I might be tempted if it were $200. Otherwise apathetic.
>>34892110
So no steelcase? Or is it picky about cheap brass too?
>>34892139
$200 is Taurus or SCCY money. Surely it isn't that bad?
The US Military's Class A uniforms are kinda shitty now.
They where great pre WWII and Post Korea. But then people complained that the black made them look like Nazis so they changed.
>I have an Idea
We take all the current officers uniforms from all branches and make them look alot like the USMC Dress Blues. But this is what we do
>The USMC stays the same
>The Army has their unit patches and all their signifying badges and patches then make the USMC dress blues into an Army version with Green tops, Colored striped belts or chords for their "berets" cause berets are gay af
>Take the AF and do the same
>Keep Naval stuff the same excluding the white enlisted uniforms because those look like shit
Any questions?
Army should just go back to green dress. But I guess the goverment needs ways of wasting tax dollars by changing uniforms.
This nigga never seen dress blues hahahahaha
Just pin less to the jacket. replace some of the pin on stuff with patches or embroidery.
Whats /k/ opinion on Eastern bloc ammo in general, complete shit or decent enough for training or what?
P.s. Is there a certain brand thats better than the others?
The price is very appealing but I believe the old adage of you get what you pay for.
Wolf is ok, Tula is weak and gross, Golden Tiger is pretty hot compared to the prior two and only a tiny but more expensive.
My vote is obviously for Golden Tiger when you can find it, but there is nothing wrong with picking up some Wolf.
>>34891321
Litteraly in the order of that picture is the quality of ammo manufacturers from left to right . What's missing is Tula, which is the worst should be on the left.
Depending on how you view surplus 7n6, it should generally be at the right.
If you have 7n6 or golden bear save it. Plink with wolf or Tula. This generally applies to 5.45
Will any of this slavshit run in a ar?
What resources are out there to determine if I'm getting a fair deal on trade in? No interest in auction sites, or does that just mean I'm doing it wrong? Not interested in the murky interweb sales world and extra FFL "fees". Want to walk into LGS and not get as ripped off as my last trade in. What does /k/ do for trade in or swap?
boomp
>>34891271
Notably less than retail nib if still in production.
Whatever someone is willing to pay if out of production.
Unless you know the owner/manager of LGS they're probably gonna jew you on a trade. Just because the weapon may sit for 6 months taking up space before someone buys it.
Also if you're selling then there are no ffl fees, tell the buy they're responsible for all shipping and transfer fees.
Other than looking up "blue book" of gun values, trolling forums and BG/AL is about the only way to get a handle on what your gun will go for.
Did it ever sink any british ships?
>>34890996
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Mashona_(F59)
It says heavy Luftwaffe attack with no explanation of specific aircraft. Could have been a 111, or an Fw 200.
>>34891049
>a destroyer
Is that it? A fucking destroyer?!
>>34891066
I'm going off this list.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_maritime_disasters_in_World_War_II
Without physically keeping tally it would seem most of the British losses of ships were at the hands of U-Boats, then Stukas, and then heavier aircraft. Which makes sense.
