What would happen if tomorrow, with no prior warning, the US declared war on the entire world (and vice versa) with the sole aim of totally eradicating the other?
Nukes are off the table.
The US has 1,347,300 military personnel.
The rest of the world have 20,541,760 combined.
The US has about 19,000 population centres.
The rest of the world have about 361000.

America would almost instantly lose a lot of the infrastructure, which is hosted in allied countries, which makes it such a global power.
Good luck predicting what the Chinese are about to do when you suddenly can't see China, or the rest of Asia for that matter.
Any more input? K'mon, I expected you guys to have some good analysis. You're the experts.
Anybody have any experiences with them? Are they bedded? Are any of boyds bedded?
How does /k/ feel about home made melee weapons? Bladed or blunt? bordering on improvised or more polished? Pic unrelated.
What was it about this gun that made the Krauts choose it to be their main divisional gun throughout the entire war?
>Ordering M1 from CMP
>Requires proof of citizenship
>My birth certificate and passport are 2 states over in a safety deposit box
>takes 10 days to process a birth certificte copy (plus shipping time)
Am I as fucked as I think I am? Is there any other proof of citizenship that will work? I want a service grade M1 :(
ITT: Too innocent for this world
The 2nd amendment has pretty bad syntax. They really should have ordered those clauses differently or used some prepositions or something.

The 2nd, along with the rest of The Bill of Rights, was written to be timeless. And it is.

yeah the well regulated militia sounds like the national guard alright. but then the people to keep and bear arms really doesn't sound like a well regulated militia.
the entire fucking thing doesn't make much sense today.

Maybe you just need to read the context of the piece instead of being a millennial that cant comprehend that word usage evolves over time.

I like the concept of a quick detach sustainment pack lid that can be carried on it´s own as a day/E&E/combat pack. But so far I have only found designs that are decent lids, but suck as daypacks.
Mystery Ranch with those two tiny, horizontal pockets is the worse, you can´t carry shit in it. The Kifaru Guide Lid is a bit better but still 1" shoulder straps and kinda shitty shape.
What other options are there? I'm sure there's tons of smaller manufacturers that I don't know about, plz halp.
My dream daypack lid would hold the following:
>hydration bladder
>24h rations
>tarp
>waterproof jacket and pants (summer)
>insulation jacket and pants (winter)
>some other minor shits and giggles
>option to carry a radio would be awesome

So what is the difference between maadi AKs and SAR aks /k?
Which one is the more durable and better made?
Also, what does everyone think is the best kind of kalashikov?
I've been looking around at various parts kits and receivers for FALs and I've noticed that it's going to be at least $1300 for everything + tools + shipping. Am I better off just buying a $1400 DSA rifle with a forged receiver?
When did it become acceptable for militaries all over the world to be so top heavy?
Even the Royal Navy has more admirals than it does vessels

If melee characters were guns, what would they be?
