China's cyberwarfare is strong enough it can take down the entire US powegrid as proven by several previous hackings by the PLA. They also have enough cruise and ballistic missiles launchable from all possible platforms to destroy every last vessel of the 7th fleet. And finally, think of the sleeper cells. America has been taking hundreds of thousands of Chinese immigrants in the last 3 decades, and among those plenty must be sleeper cells who could throw up Olympus Has Fallen scenarios, not just with the White House, but all kinds of key buildings and facilities. China will make Pearl Harbor look like child's play. The US is so fucked.

beats talking about 9mm vs 40 S&W vs 45 AARP
I guess I need to be making these threads more, I always wait on others to but no one has recently.
Interesting rumblings that Turkey, Russia, and Assad have hashed out a deal where Assad will clear out the SDF holdings in the north and Turkey will back down it's meddling and receive S-400s. Rumours most of it, but I have a feeling a gov't vs Kurds war may be on the horizon once those two sides find themselves staring at each other.

Chinese YPG fighter in Raqqa, apparently he's served 3 tours. Chinese media is weary of giving any attention to people who go over but this guy's "blackout" was lifted.
East German anti tank grenade for sale, $70 USD, Idlib.
Moving to Oregon soon.
At a glance their laws don't seem that bad. No magazine limits or bans in particular. Shall issue for conceal carry licenses, open carry and all that.
Is there anything that might tangle me up legality wise I should be aware of prior to bringing my funs over? I'm aware of the new law that was signed.
Edition: Rifle, Short, Magazine, Lee-Enfield.
Got my replacement buttstock for the rusty 1916 BSA Mk.III* I bought a couple weeks ago. Here it is all cleaned up and mounted. It's beech rather than walnut and has some rack markings, but by luck of the draw I got a long one.
The 1" increase in length of pull feels a world of difference. Excited to try shooting it now.

Can't wait until Labor Day week. Hopefully my funs from RIA will be here, I'm gonna spend most of a day just cleaning and taking pics of most of my funs.

Why would you hold a gun like this if? Excluding grips.
>>34942721
Gotta have swag when you're killing untermensch.
>>34942721
That's how you hold an MP38/40. You can hold it by the bakelite frame behind the mag but that's not as comfortable.
This is the ideal defensive shotgun. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

With a 16" barrel & a stubby traditional stock maybe.
I've never been a fan of pistol grip on anything with heavy recoil, hurts my babby wrists
Let my shoulder muscles take it, like God intended
9mm or 5.56 though? Bring it on

I want a revolver semi automatic pistol

So a double action? Sage for shit thread.
Buy one then.
>Heavy ammo, carry less of it
>Recoil is all over the place, like a broken washing machine clanking back and forth
>HEAD SPACE AND FUCKING TIMING
>No quick barrel changes
>Shitty little peep sight that is impossible to use when engaging full auto
>Worthless at night because of the fuckhuge muzzle flash that washes out Nods
>Heavy as a building
>Military still servicing receivers from WWII that have long since warped
>HEAD SPACE AND FUCKING TIMING
>Pain in the dick to assemble/disassemble
Is it time to move on to another platform? New round? What happened to the upgraded M2's that were supposed to take service?
50 cal fire is 50 cal fire
>>34942377
>Heavy ammo
That's the whole point you absolutely fucking mongoloid
>>34942377
Good thing you don't have to worry about head space and timing on new(er) 50s, huh?
Planes are to battleships as anti ship ballistic missiles are to carriers.
>>34942164
Well, yeah, ships are basically easy to track, slow moving, highly visible, easy to hit targets.
If there were ever another war, these really large ships like carriers would be the scariest to be on.
Must be why China is rushing to build carriers.
>>34942164
Verifiably false.
I wonder if it would be possible to build a truly, utterly soundless half-automatic handgun with at least six rounds.
Bonus for no spent cartridges being expelled.
It's all about internal ballistics, because the sonic crack limits projectile velocity to lower than about 330 m/s.
I am also interested in concepts of self-vanishing bullets, like those made from ice. Now the latter is not useful - the density of ice is just too low to be applicable as bullet in a compact handgun with v0-limitations.
But dry ice has a much higher density, and could possibly be used, especially for its very good self-vanishing quality.
So, gentlemen, any technical expertise or ideas?
What the fuck are you talking about? Is English your first language?
>half automatic
You mean semi-automatic?
>soundless
Silenced/suppressed?
>Ice bullets
Anything that isn't a dense metal or part of a dense metal will disintegrate as soon as you fire it. Stop being a retard who watches too many movies.
>No casings being expelled.
Get a revolver if you care
>>34942157
Read the sticky, vanishing bullets aren't worth looking into since they'll just end up vaporized, you'll need a fairly large bullet if it's going to be subsonic, a company that makes silencers is making an internally suppressed gun already so they will beat you to the punch with regards towards cornering the mall ninja/assassin/james bond market, you will have to manufacture your own caseless ammunition since no one makes caseless ammo, because no one makes caseless ammo no one would buy your gun.
>>34942208
1.
Sorry, I am German.
2.
Silencers are not truly silent, there is a lot of noise still from the weapons action and released gases.
3.
With small additives regular ice can made into a hard yet ductile substance, for example with a few percent of metal or wood dust (google pykrete).
Dry ice has a higher density and could possibly function well.
It would require internal cooling of the gun or ammo, but this can be cheaply and reliably achieved with a peltier element, for example.
4.
There is a trick to anti-forensically collect the expelled spent cartridges: Wrap a plastic bag around the gun and your hand/arm, and fire through the bag.
5.
Revolvers are notoriously difficult to seal completely between barrel and revolving cylinder. Gas escapes, noise is made, forensic evidence is produced. Not nearly good enough.
What was the next best LMG of WW2 after the MG42?
the MG34.

Your premise is arguable in the first place.
If you just want to wehraboo it up, probably the MG34.

Did Crusaders lose the Holy Land because of their bulky and useless armor? Muslims wore lighter armor that gave them better agility to move around and attack.
>>34942025
Gee. 'win' and 'lose' are pretty harsh words to use in this situation.
>>34942025
They lost it because they are stupid cucks and Christianity is a weak religion.
>>34942025
They lost it because even with all the fortifications in the world, 50,000 Franks can't hold out for longer than 200 years against several million pissed off sand niggers.
How is this knife quality wise? I know it's no proper outdoors knife, but it's the only one I have. Should I be worried about the tip breaking? I'm just wondering if this is a good thing to take with me places. https://kershaw.kaiusaltd.com/knives/knife/black-leek
