Bought a Kel-Tec KFK when I stopped by Kel-Tec's facility the other day.

Got an SP-01 and kadet slide recently. The thing is low recoil with 9mm already but the .22 is so easy to control it might as well be a laser gun.

Things a hell of a lot of fun and the triggers starting to break in from the feel of things, from awful to simply ok. or maybe im just getting used to it... Either way good news for me.

100% reliable too so far. Over all im a pretty happy camper, just need another revolver!

The palm swell on the back of the grip is too large and pushes the palm off to the side, preventing both lobes of the palm from sitting comfortably on the grip. The tail of the gun that sits in the web of the thumb is too wide, and awkwardly impacts the knuckle of thumb. The CZ becomes thinner in this section preventing this entirely. The magazine release is tiny, and very low profile. It is far too difficult to press, yet the other side of it is unreasonably large. This asymmetry prevents it from being reversed for left hand shooters, as on the CZ. The grip is slick, with barely any grip texture whatsoever, it seems liable to slip out of ones hands on a stressful situation. The only thing they got right was the magazine release, which falls nicely under the thumb and is easy to actuate. The previous owner of mine replaced the sights so they are acceptive, I hear the normal ones are the same shitty plastic they make the rest of the gun out of.

In terms of functional features, the Glock also disappoints. The trigger is frankly dogshit. It has a song take up with barely discernable stacking before the break. It is not within a hundred miles of the quality of my CZ's full Cajun Gun Works fire control system. Amazingly, the magazines on the glock don't drop free. This confused me at first. How could the designers possibly have overlooked this basic feature? It also lacks any sort of loaded chamber indicator or safety. This is frankly the most unsafe firearm I've ever held. The trigger pull, while spongey as day old dogshit, doesn't seem as long as a revolvers making it unsafe to carry with one in the chamber.

The build quality and aesthetics are just horrendous. If the aesthetic problems weren't obvious from the first picture, you need to get your eyes checked. It looks like someone made the slide from a piece of bar stock and the grip from a squirt gun. The frame is so light and squishy I'm afraid it will rip in half under recoil. All of the weight is in the slide which must make recovery time between shots horrendous.

This gun should have never been a major influence on the industry, it should have been condemned to the trash bin of failed ideas.
