Is 44 special a good manstopper?
>>33182651
it's like .45 ACP except instead of 7 rounds you get 5 (4 if you leave a chamber empty) and a lot less ammo choice
>>33182651
>Is 44 special a good manstopper?
It's a functional firearm, so yes.
>>33182651
because there are so SO many better firearms in that price range
is it worth $2,599? should i buy one?
If you ACTUALLY have the money why not
>>33182557
i was saving up for a honda cbr 500r but honestly i dont know if i should go for the gun instead.
>>33182542
Enormous waste of money: you'd be spending an extra $1,500 for a rampant pony, that's it.
Colt drove itself into the ground with these retarded schemes, don't help them.
Let's make this type of threads a trend

Is it worth it? Thinking about buying one or taking a parts kit to a gunsmith.
Have you watched the series on Inrange?
It looks like a really cool project. Don't take it to a smith, the entire point is to build it yourself
How hard is it to build one of these?
Yay!
I loved the fuck out of my CETME-L. Sold it for $2,500 at a gun show, lol. I still regret it. In total, it cost about $700 to build back in '07. Shot great.
Make sure you use a stamped & welded steel receiver instead of the common milled aluminum.
I actually just bought a CETME-C in fantastic condition for $550 last week. It was a CAI import, but the seller showed me the bolt/headspace and it was literally perfect. Century would often grind down bolts to make them fit headspace spec (.10 - .15). Mine was not ground down at all and it was a PERFECT .13. Barrel was nice and shiny too. Couldn't pass it up!
I miss the days of them selling for $300 but $550 isn't terrible by today's standards ($700+).
ITT we post our recent purchases, project guns, or raifus
I just received my AKM bayonet in the mail. I guess I'll just have to buy an AK to put it on
Commencing picture dump
Here it is without the scabbard
Here is the Izhvesk proof mark on the scabbard
I was glad to find that there
Here is the Izhevsk proof mark on the actual bayonet
Took me ages to find it because i'm a retard
>Alright TNPers
>Rule for this GRV: Nothing gets on the table unless it's HoF
>The ounces dudes, you gotta save the ounces
>Ok let's jump into PoU for this GRV.
>Great gun if you're an FC LEO I know you dudes.. And ladies are watchin' gotta love the LEO TNPers
>Man I love this gun, its so easy to intigrate into your EDC SYSTEM, why? It's just so light dudes.. FOURTEEN OUNCES??? When you're worried about SAWC but you still want something bigger than something like this uhhhh, 950 Jetfire... Great WROL gun dudes.
"But nutn, you hate anything that's bigger than .380 for WROL." Actually I dont... I would like something lighter but it doesn't mean I won't ever intigrate something like this into my BoB.. Firepower versus mobility, firepower versus mobility
post fetus
Yup. That about covers it.
post the most aesthetic guns that you have ever seen

There's a picture with text on it, that's pretty much as BTFO as it gets
Question for California gun owners:
I'm a former police officer, and I still have spare 15 round magazines for the Beretta 92F. Am I no longer allowed to have them or take them to the range?
Thanks for your time.
>>33181895
You need to turn in that high capacity assault clip to your local law enforcement immediately, before you have a chance to murder any children with it.
>>33181895
Dude it's too late you're a criminal now.
>>33181895
No one is exempt anymore but ppl won't care just go shoot
So with today's start of the IWA, ammo maker RWS announced the launch of a brand new hunting caliber, the 10.3x68 Magnum.
Bullet weight ranges from 170 grains up to 400 grains

So is this going to be another euro-only boutique big game cartridge like 9.3x64 Brenneke or 9.3x62 Mauser?
Some guy from Varusteleka posted this a couple of hours ago.
What are those rifles shown on H&K's stand?
Alright /k/, I need all the information I can get on small unit tactics, urban and guerrilla warfare, hand signals (Bonus points for non-American ones), radio communications, artillery spotting and firing drills, vehicle manuals, whatever you have! In return, here are some pictures in return
Lets have ourselves another weekly /k/ pics and art thread.
Post them /k/ pics and art. Be it actual photos, art, drawing, vidya, etc.
Artists and drawfags also welcome.
/k/, have you any nicknames for your /k/omrades?
I have christened a friend of mine, Der Grosse Arktis Zwergen Zauberer, which translates: The Great Arctic Dwarf Wizard. For his accomplishments on firearms. Surely there are those among your friends, that you have nicknamed over the years.
>>33181523
I call my best friend Shit-train and my girlfriend Turtles. I call OP a faggot now fuck off before the tripfags get here
>>33181551
>and my girlfriend Turtles.
I feel compelled to ask why you've nicknamed her that.
>>33181523
Yeah, a few off the top of my head:
Heroine
Warcraft
Tires
Irish
Chef
King
Lenny
I know I shouldn't be too harsh on deviantart, and I'm no /k/omando
But why is this allowed?
>>33181505
As deviant art goes, this is pretty ok.
I've seen worse.
>Newfags don't remember the COD fan fiction wiki raid
>>33181526
It's not the art that's the problem
Look where the trigger is
I finally got my conceal carry permit! Now it's time to pick a gun to carry with me.
What is /k/'s best pick for a cheap/cost effective pistol to conceal carry? Generally broke but have $300-$500 saved for my gun of choice
Hey OP,
Real talk with your budget I'd recommend something like a SCCY CPX 2. Really reliable, high capacity for an inexpensive sub compact pistol, DAO with no safety, but that's what I prefer anyway
Single Action Army. Be a boss.
>>33181457
This seems like a great pistol for the price. My only concern is that a 9mm won't stop the same way a .45 does
