Hey /k/, just bought pic related. Where do I go about buying ammo online that is cheap? Also what do I use for range and home defense use?
New to firearms, so what else would be good and fun to shoot?

You're a faggot for not buying the tactical version.

My sister got a sccy cpx-1, didn't like it, and gave it to me.
I haven't gone out to shoot it yet, is it a decent gun though?
>>33221874
I have a CPX2. It's usually what I carry everyday. It shoots well enough and is reliable. The only issue I have is mine won't work with the extended baseplate. Other than that it's fine.
>>33221874
They aren't bad for what they are. Cheap small double action only 9mms. I love mine.

I use a p64 as my carry gun, but was thinking about switching out to the cpx1

Sup, /k/. I was just checking out some old Desert Storm footage my dad recorded during his time in the military, and I think I found a cameo of someone interesting.
Background: It is March 14, 1991, and the USAF has just touched down its first C5 Galaxy filled with equipment to help fight the fires in Kuwait's oil wells, when a civilian 747 loaded with press, politicians, and one potential person of notice also touches down on the airfield...
But I want /k/'s opinion.

I need your help, /k/. Which should I get as my first handgun (and firearm in general)? A S&W Model 59 or a S&W 39-2? Pic related is the 39-2. Both are the same price, 0$.
I'd say whatever the gun shop you chose gets you a better deal with, but I would recommend getting a TP9SA. It's a pretty good 9mm and under 350.
>>33221418
39 and put wood grips on it. Those things give me a weird boner

Sportsman's Guide Machete 5/$25 deal
What did I get?
Any other annons out there get in on this?
That's a big machete
so far ive only sharpened 2 of em the rest are still going to stay in a pile or be given away as gifts to friends.

Any of them worth anything or better than the others?
So kimmy Un is back at it again.
My question today is this. Could Worst Korea and Japan take out best Korea?
Just for the sake of argument let's assume that any direct us involment other than forces already committed will be seen by china as provocation.
Could RoK and Japan take care of business?
I've heard that NK's army is under equipped and has a fuck ton of food shortages.
If it's true then it shouldn't be too hard for the Nippons and the Koreans to roll them.
Plus Japan has military waifus, so that's like, an instant bonus, right?
>>33220327
I'd say the lack of supplies to fight a war would make best korea lose such a conflict.
>>33220357
Best Korea strikes hard and fast, cutting off dmz forces and surrounding them. Continues south quickly securing the needed food supplies while allowing support troops to reinforce.
Ensuing ground war lasts years because of nuke threats.

Should I get a Remington 870 or Mossberg 500?
Also, why would there be rifling on a shotgun? Unless you're firing slugs, does it do anything?
Rifled shotguns are purely for slugs, firing shot will eventually damage the barrel.
Aside from control location, they're almost identical. 870 is easier to disassemble, though.
Of those two? Not much difference.
I'd personally spring for the Mossberg 590A1. It's not much more and it's much sturdier.
>>33219327
I have a Mossberg 500 and my friend has a Remington 870. Both are good, utilitarian shotguns. We use our guns for hunting (dove, turkey, squirrel, etc) and the occasional skeet shooting session. Don't get a rifled barrel unless you're going to be using it as a "slug gun". Do get a barrel that takes interchangeable screw-in chokes so you can change your choke to match the application you're using the gun for at that time.
