When humanity expands beyond earth, what weapons will we take with us into the frontier?

/k/s opinion on the. 357 Sig round out of a subcompact handgun for self defense/EDC is...
>>33293137
Expensive meme round that doesn't do anything 9mm won't do cheaper.
>>33293137
Out of a subcompact I'd just go with 9mm.
Now I do have a Glock 31 that I carry in the great smoky mountains national park, because the round is best suited out of a longer barrel.
>>33293137
Shot it once, and now my next handgun will be a Glock 31, probably Gen 4.
If you had access to a replicator where you could replicate any weapon exactly to your specification (materials, etc.) what would you replicate?

Has this Buck Rogers honkey slayer redeemed itself in its second generation or not? I want one bad but the reviews still seem sketchy. It's either great for 100s of rounds or dogshit .
Your thoughts?
>Remington
>good
Pick one
>>33292489
If I could sum it up for you the general feeling is that reviews still seem sketchy. It's either great for 100s of rounds or dogshit .
>>33292501
The problem is a lot of the guys saying it's dogshit are complete shills. Hence my thread here.
Why is Russia's military so outdated?
>>33292179
Because their country collapsed in the 90s and they didn't have money till the recent decade or so.
/thread
>>33292179
they have italy tier gdp, so not much money for new big stuff.
>>33292179
They went broke after the USSR collapsed and we've been buttfucking them with sanctions. They're super poorfags right now.
What does /k/ keep in their IFAK?

medical supplies
>Tourniquet
>Dressings
>Gauze
>The little things of sterile sodium chloride solution and alcohol free wipes for cleaning.
>Packet of gloves
>Quick clot
>Tape
That's about it my dude. The rest of the other shit is kept somewhere else.
Poorfag Get home bag/EDC IFAK
2x Israeli Bandage
2x regular trauma bandages
5x 4x4" Gauze
1x butterfly bandaids
1x bandaids
2x gloves
1x EMT shears
1x Edding marker, fine tip
I'm looking for a proper medical pouch that has a place on the outside to hold gloves, like the skinnymedic pouch does.
Also still have to add a CAT tourniquet and CombatGauze

Simunition Sig conversions involve replacing the extractor and the barrel. To convert a factory smurf gun to centerfire you buy the designated barrel and extractor? Apologize in advance

>>33291129
No.
Batteries are unreliable anyways, and can't hold enough energy in a compact form to justify such a change.

all my games are already updated :^)
So I don't know what kind of gun oils you guys use, but what I've been using is basically a "home brew" stuff that works out pretty good. The parts on the guns I lost in that tragic boating accident slide along as if they're on glass with absolutely no resistance whatsoever. It resists corrosion, and carbon build up, and compared to most gun oils, it's cheap. It's pretty easy to make too, I got the recipe off of a Magazine Article.
First you'll need a 5 Quart oil jug. So do an oil change on your car and save the jug. No need to clean it out as long as there's only clean oil in it.
Dump in the following:
1 Quart of Oil (I use HD30 non detergent oil, I've heard of people using 10W30 or whatever. As long as it's conventional.)
1 Quart of Transmission Fluid (I used cheap Dex/Merc stuff)
1 Pint of Marvel Mystery Oil
1 Pint of STP oil treatment (It might help to dump about half of this in, and then put some of the Marvel Mystery oil in to help loosen it up so it pours in easier)
2-4 ounces of Hoppes #9
For application I just use an old vape bottle. Since Vape juice is water soluble I just washed it out with water and let it dry out over night. The top is a squirt nozzle which makes putting the oil on really easy.
So a dirty oil
A detergent oil
Another detergent oil
A meme
And then an irrelevantly small amount of oil
Okay buddy
>>33290870
I make and use Ed's Red myself. Equal parts kerosene, mineral spirits, transmission fluid, and acetone. I also put some anhydrous lanolin oil in it which gives it better lubrication properties and makes it last longer.
overall thoughts on the butterfly knife/balisong, is it effective as a weapon? or nah, just good for tricks people can do with them
It's pointy so I guess you could stab someone with it.
>>33290699
There's also an edge, which is nice for cutting.
