Alright. This knight vs samurai meme has gone on long enough
Neither were traditionally foot soldiers.
Both would of been on horse back.
Knight would of had a lance
Samurai would of had a bow.
Samurai would of ran around shooting arrows at knight or his horse until the horse and he was on foot and then the samurai had a mobility advantage until he runs out of arrows. The knights combat tactics would of lost like they lost to mongol cavalry archers.

Modern cosplayers would hate plate, it's relatively heavy and restricts movement a lot compared to every other type of clothing or armor available and on top of that it needs padding. A hot day they'd probably just keel over from exhaustion without a horse to transport them.

Dude lied about smoking weed having a surgery that put pins in his leg. Eleven years into active duty he get slotted to go for OSI. He decided to have "integrity" and tell the truth about his marijuana use prior to joining. The osi agent doing his package notices the discrepancy and asks if he made a mistake. Dude says no he just wants to tell the truth. His package is put on hold and he gets slotted for my deployment team as the flight chief, he is an e6 during all of this.

We get deployed together and during training he fucks his leg up, gets sent home. Medical notices pins and he admits lying to meps.

By this time OSI is pulling his medical record for his cross train and see the annotation in the medical records.


This dude had eleven years in, considered high speed and was going to be a legit federal agent and they butt fucked him HARD.

I don't remember the articles but he got charged duty breach of contract, lying on official statements, and got admin discharged. All of this for not keeping his lie about weed straight.


Moral of the story, don't lie about medical shit they can prove you had wrong prior. If you lie about drug use you stick with what you said until you seperate.

Suppression is a mathematical equation: S=R*P
Rounds multiplied by Proximity leads to Suppression.
The more shots you can put in a specific spot the more effective the suppression is.
You might think 1 shot a second isn't much a difference than 2 shots a second but it is.

If you're talking about for hunting purposes, there really isn't a point unless you're hunting predators. Prey animals like deer don't have a wide color spectrum and don't see in great detail, so camo doesn't help you much against them.

There are always alternatives to consider, of course. But the PPS M2 is a great choice.

The M2 fixes one of the problems I have with the PPS which is the sharp, boxy grip. I haven't tried an M2 trigger but it can't be as bad as my PPS. It's a well designed, reliable pistol and the variable capacity from 6 to 8 rounds makes it fit for pocket or holster carry.

If you're looking for suggestions, the M&P Shield, Nano, LC9 and P938 are worth consideration.

I tried out a LCP, G43, Shield and this. This beat them all by a mile in terms of shootability, feel and trigger quality. Shield and LC9 felt like plastic trash. G43 was alright but it was fatter and the trigger was worse. Only complaint about PPS M2 is the absent aftermarket and it's a bit too big to pocket carry, even with the 6rd.

You need to figure out what the weapons is for.

Do you want a hunting rifle? If so, are you will to buy a quality scope, which will cost at least $500. If yes, then I suggest a Tikka in 243 or 260 with a Swarovski scope. You can't beat that Tikka accuracy. Winchester model 70 is good if you don't mind getting a replacement trigger from Timney.

If you want a hunting rifle and cannot afford a scope, get a 30-30 with iron sights. The Winchester model 94 short rifle is the gold standard for those. Henry is not bad either.

Do you want a pistol for carry? If so, I recommend a CZ-75 or 1911. If you get a 1911, DO NOT GET ONE WITH A FIRING PIN BLOCK. See the video below.

Do you want a gun for home defense? If so, get a pump action 20 gauge shotgun.

Do you want a plinking/varmint rifle? If so, get a cheap 22 LR.
