I've heard several times on here that the ATF lurks on this board occasionally. Is this really true? If so, what proof is there? Also,

>BEIJING is boosting its offensive force of rapid-deployment marines by 400 per cent amid plans to dramatically increase its military presence in the Indian Ocean.
>Among the details to emerge is a move to boost China’s marine corps — highly trained and well equipped troops intended for rapid deployment and offensive missions launched from the sea — from an existing 20,000 troops to more than 100,000.
>The Hong-Kong based South China Morning Post reports two brigades of regular army troops have already been placed under the command of the marine corps, with several more to follow.
>“The PLA marines will be increased to 100,000, consisting of six brigades in the coming future to fulfil new missions of our country,” it reports one anonymous source as saying. It adds the size of the navy would also grow 15 per cent to help accommodate the new force.
>“China is a maritime country and as we defend our maritime rights and develop our interests, the status of the navy will be more important,” former naval commissar Liu Xiaojiang told the annual Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in Beijing last week.
>“Besides its original missions of a possible war with Taiwan, maritime defence in the East and South China seas, it’s also foreseeable that the PLA Navy’s mission will expand overseas, including protection of China’s national security in the Korean peninsula, the country’s maritime lifelines, as well as offshore supply deports like in Djibouti and Gwadar port in Pakistan,” Li said.
Chinese Murreeen troops increase from 20k to 100k... They are preparing for something.
Impressive
Truly China has what it takes to be superpower. China can now defend Chinese lands from the Indian Ocean up to the east of Australia. That's why they call that region 'IndoChina' because that is historically Chinese land.
Chinks taking over is still better than nonwhites I guess

I'm pretty sure this is ironic, but in case it isn't -- do you even read what you write and think "Oh yeah, this is certain to change their opinions on China and the Chinese Communist Party!" ?

How far can you throw a gun?
>>33313235
Once chucked a .270 maybe fifty some feet? By the barrel hammer throw kinda thing.
Was into a lake, though, depressed from the bank, so that might be cheating a little and gotten me a few extra feet.
>>33313274
Is that the optimal way to throw a pistol though? And does spear tossing a nugget reach further, despite the weight?
Yeah, I also watched John Wick 2

>Gun runners were caught on tape boasting about the commonwealth’s weaker gun laws that allowed them to easily assemble their cache of weapons, which they sold up north, according to police and prosecutors.
Fucking staged. NY fags get ready for some legislation to protect you.

As a VA fag, I hope this doesn't lead to anything here.

Mechanic and machinist here. It looks just fine. Explain your problem or fuck off.
What kind of weapons (both guns and explosives (grenades, claymores, IEDs, etc.)) would one expect to find around Africa, Western Asia, Middle East, Southeast Europe area?
Things both unsanctioned terrorists/warlords would use as well as official government army and police forces. What about private citizens?
Pic related, I assume.

Ak47, surplus rifles, russian shit in general
AKs of all types and manufacture, SKSs to a lesser degree, you'll find Lee-Enfields in South Asia (Afgahn War leftovers etc.), some Mausers, Mosins, RPG-7s, RPKs, PKMs, maybe a couple DP-28s, TT-33s, Makarovs, 1911s, revolvers of various types. Homemade guns aren't uncommon in some regions. I'm probably forgetting a lot.
Your area is so large that you would be almost guaranteed to find examples of most weapons produced in the last 50 years

>The Spanish National Police has exposed the arsenal of war seized in January in Spain during operation Portu, supported by Europol.
>Over 10 000 assault rifles, anti-aerial machine guns, 400 shells and grenades, as well as pistols, revolvers and parts to reactivate weapons, have been catalogued.
>The organised crime group sold deactivated firearms which did not comply with the existing deactivation standards, and live firing firearms, in Spain and other European countries like France and Belgium. The armament was acquired mainly through legally established channels and later reactivated.
>As a result of the investigation, a huge military firearms depot was seized that required several weeks to catalogue. Due to their characteristics, their calibre and their readiness for reactivation, the seized weapons had an easy journey in the black market and posed a significant risk of being acquired by organised crime groups and terrorists.

>The organised crime group sold deactivated firearms which did not comply with the existing deactivation standard
That's the shit brought up during the Theatre shooting and why they passed yet another layer of anti fun laws
https://www.rt.com/news/380745-firearms-arsenal-seized-spain/
>>33313096
It's weird. From what I know, the deactivation process if very destructive to the firearm, there is no way it can be reactivated after that. But maybe the process could be different, depending on the country it is made...

Hey /k/, is the Mossberg 702 Plinkster a good babby's first rifle? I've never had the cash since I'm a poorfag but I've got enough saved up to finally into guns.
I want to put an adapter on it to turn the 3/8" dovetail mount into a picatinny rail, and put a dot sight and possibly a low profile laser on the rail.
I can't tell if this is bait or not...if you want to tacticool out a .22 save yourself a few steps and buy a .22 ar clone or something, you can find one that already has rails.
>>33312794
If you want tacticool get the Mossberg 715t.
>>33312809
If I could get a .22 AR clone for the price of a 702 Plinkster and a rail adapter I would.
Hey, /k/. What reasons can you think of to use insanely human-looking androids in warfare as opposed to the camera and bunch of guns mounted on a pair of treads design that most military robot designs conform to in real life?
