Fun hunting experience
I'll start.
>Best bro invites me to go hog hunting.
>Says the land owner will give us 5 bucks a head.
>Hell yeah!
>Take my home build ar15.
>Bro brings a Mossberg 500.
>Says that he invited two other friends that I don't know.
>Let's me borrow his old M7 bayonet to stick the piggies if they get too close.
>Bros friends are already there.
>First guy is an Asian manlet with an SKS and the second guy is a big black dude with a m44 nugget.
>Shake hands introduce each other etc.
>About two hours in, we find the piggies.
>Take aim and all fire at piggies.
>"Affix bayonets!"
>Look over at the two new guy to see them setting up their bayonets and running towards the pigs.
>This happens as bro and I are still shooting at piggies.
Have to stop because Tweedledee and Tweedledum have run into our line of fire to stab the piggies on the ground.
>Fucking chinklet decapitates a downed pig with his SKS.
>I look at bro and ask him what the fuck.
>He just laughs and tells me that they always do that shit.
>Admittedly, it was funny to see a 300 pound black guy and a 5'3" nintendo doing a bayonet charge side by side.
>Go to local bar afterwards.
>mini SKS spearman buys me a couple drinks.
>They are actually pretty cool.
>They make me promise to bring a bayonet next time so I can stick the piggies with them.
>Order an M7 baynonet that night.
>decapitated hog with SKS bayonet
Story is fake and gay, those things are both dull as a rock and strong as a tin can.
>>33356319
You don't think that a professional pig sticker wouldn't sharpen the shit out of a SKS blade bayonet?
>Do you even Nintendo?
>>33356332
Read the whole post next time.
Why isn't this badboy more popular in the west?
It's very useful.
Especially now, with missions in the middle east & Afghanistan, with all those countless walls...
And don't give me that shit about using corner-shots or using smartphones, at war, simplicity is the key.

gg no re
>>33355967
Still better than sticking the head up.
Plus the head of this periscope is really small, it's like 3cm wide.
It's only downside is that it's a bit heavy, but one can make it a lot lighter with modern tech.
I used it and I loved it.
Hadn't see one of these for a while. You know the drill.

What's wrong with the ACR? It seems like a really solid design. Amazing ergonomics, piston driven, left side charging and non reciprocating, folding stock, light recoil. It's an overall improvement over an AR
>>33355673
No aftermarket, no alternative calibers, fairly heavy, barely any customizability, low ability to tailor ergonomics to personal taste, etc. It isn't an overall improvement on an ar. It's worse in quite a few ways.
>>33355673
Bushmaster promised aftermarket support with caliber conversions and different length barrels, and all sorts of customization when it first released, but they pretty much abandoned the platform, so all the poor SOB's that bought these things right away with the intention of being able to swap calibers easily got fucked over pretty hard. Pretty much all the hype around the gun is dead now, and it only took them 9 years or so to finally show some progress being made on different barrel lengths for it at this years shot show. I would love to own one of these in 6.8 if they ever actually fucking released the caliber conversions, but with the way Bushmaster has treated the thing for all these years, I don't trust them at all and would rather spend my money elsewhere.
>>33355673
It's a good rifle, but it's not what we were told it was going to be.
I still remember watching a tv show were they used one in 7.62x39 with different barrel lengths and we're talking about how good it would be for SOF units. Reality hit a few years later.
Does anyone know the name of the pole-arm that looks a lot like this?
I remember seeing it in a japanese samurai weapons and armor museum exhibit, its a lot like this fishing spear except the prongs were a lot thicker without the barbs and only about 2/3 the length.

But they did it

Actually they probably would have.
>>33355489
>Hitler killed 6 million Jews
40 S&W is a pointless round that provides no advantage over its competitors.
>Costs nearly double what 9mm does
>Snappy recoil with no significant benefit
>Completely outclassed by 10mm and .357 Sig
>Lower capacity
>Always retrofitted into 9mm designs. Always chambered as an afterthought.
No one in their right mind would buy into this shit round.
Prove me wrong
>>33355214
I agree. Fuck the FBI.
>>33355223
FBI shoots 9mms now.
Try again
It has better ballistic performance through auto glass than 9mm.
For LEOs that's a selling point.
The shooting of the terrorist at Orly airport disproves /k/'s belief that women are unsuited for combat and close range melee, and that they are in fact just as capable as male counterparts.
How so? She got herself used as a human shield. Dropping to her knees long enough for her two buddies to shoot was the only reason she survived and it was probably not a conscious decision to do so.
> belief that women are unsuited for combat and close range melee
yes, /k/ is wrong with this
>and that they are in fact just as capable as male counterparts.
no /k/ is right with this.
Women and women shouldn't share co-ed units, they should be atleast segrigated at the division level so they can a) not get pregnant b) requisition the proper amount of supplies for their operations and c) be able to fireman carry their comrades if needed.
this is why the YJP does it and they female fighting force is comparable to the men's on a macro level.
>>33355044
>implying I have anything against women. However the news does appear to have some splaining to do
Give me your buns with guns.
C'mon guys, I know you got 'em don't hold out on me
>>33354916
AAAAAA SO CUTE pls moar i love buns
>>33355940
Fuck you you're supposed to be giving ME buns. My bun folder is small as fuck and I only have common buns. I need your rare bunners.
Also what gun has the most "fuck you" value when shooting coyotes/foxes? I want every niggerdog around here to learn why you leave my fucking buns alone.
>be me
>spend entire life never having anything worse than a street fight scuffle outside a bar a few times
>never needed a concealed weapon my entire life
>live in nice area
>browse /k/
>see videos of people getting mugged and murdered
>now shopping for a CC pistol
>regret buying my AR because it won't be there in the street if I need it and it's just a range toy
What'd you guys do to me?
Turned you into a sane rational human being whos aware of how reality works.
Showed you the real world?
Most people will never need a cc pistol, but there are times when you're being beheaded with a box cutter and your lips have been cut off while they are holding your head down (it's hard to cut through all the sinew and muscle with a short blade like a box cutter) with a galvanized steel pipe in your mouth that you'll wish you had decided to pack that day.
Also, any gun is a concealable gun with a little ingenuity.

proceeded to get hit and get taunted by a guy with easily 8" and 80 lbs on me,and then get punched in the back of the head by his friend, managed to keep distance and they walked off eventually, more to the story later on but the important message here is that i was totally unprepared to be assaulted and didnt recognize a threat, also canada so no cc or oc options, feels bad.

If I want to go Infantry, should I go Marines or Army?
If all I give a shit about is traveling, what branch and MOS or Rate?
I was wondering if i could get some info on Calvary Scout 19D.
Like:
>where one might get stationed
>what might one expect to be doing because one isnt likely to see combat for a while.
>personal experiences
also i was hoping i could get some input on the pic, its my asvab practice test score. It was my first time taking it and i never looked into the military option when i was in high school so im honestly pretty knew to all this info.
Ive narrowed it down to army and looking at the option i think cav scout is something i would like.
