Taurus is almost universally hated by US shooters, and I've found the quality to be hit or miss in the few that I've owned The early PT-92s were actually very good, as they were made on Beretta machines that were left in Brazil after a military contract expired.
Lately there have been enough Taurus junk guns in circulation to fully taint their reputation, and drop resale value to the point that they are considered a very poor choice.

I'm thin, so during the summer, I'll carry a Bodyguard 380, any other time that I'd have thicker cloths on, I'd carry my FNS-9.
There's just so many options for CC that aren't limited to micro guns or even compacts. Plenty of people carry full size, but it all comes down to what works for you and what works for the situation.

Would it be wise to load a fmj every 3rd or 4th round or the last several rounds in you CC in case your target is wearing a vest or you have to shoot thru a windshield or something?

In shops set up for the real stuff, I see chest rigs (for example) costing many more shekels than I'm willing to pay, but on airshit websites, I can find decent chest rigs for around $40.
Sure it's made for airshit, but it holds magazines like it's supposed to. Why spend more on the "profeshunal" gear?

I have the option of picking up a lightweight carbine in .243 or .308. Since I already have a monster 26" barrel .308, I wondered what hunters of /k/ thought of 6mm bullets?
Half the posts I see online mention problems with no exit wounds or blood trails, especially on shoulder shots. Often these are the same people advocating nothing smaller than a 6.5 or .270 for whitetail, and leave the .243 for coyotes only. But there are enough stories to have me worried about losing an animal.
On the other hand, I know lots of older guys who swear by the .257 Roberts as one of the great deer cartridges. Even the 115gr p+ .257 ammo travels at nearly the same velocity and only has a smidgen more SD. Does the .243 need an extra 15 grains and .01" diameter before it can reliably penetrate all the way through a whitetail?
