needless to say, I was guide and honor graduate and went to Special Ops training right after that. Told them I didn't even want my 10 days of leave, I couldn't look at my family the same way...

Could NATO win a war against a major power like Russia or China if the U.S. withdrew? I couldn't make a reliable guess against China but I think Russia would win hands down due to most NATO members countries being fairly lax with operational readiness and spending
>UK, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and all the other countries vs Russia
>Russia winning in a conventional conflict
>>33362277
because you know wars just happen with a snap of finger and don't boil down from years of tension
This question is almost impossible to answer without getting some grounding assumptions. Like how many years after the US withdrew and what caused it? Are current relations with Europe and US strained? Is that enough for total strategic retreat? Does the US still maintain alliances with certain European countries without being in NATO? Have the remaining NATO members made efforts to plug the gap that the US left? By what means? Nuclear or convetional?
And then the answer would only be relevant to that particular set of assumptions. When people bicker over these types of threads their all playing of a certain set of assumptions in their heads. Not ideal for "productive" wargaming.
The modernised China armed forces have zero/or very limited operational experience, whilst many NATO nations have operational experience, but very few have done anything at scale. Even fewer have the actual capability to do it at scale. Only France and the UK have capablility to go well beyond their region and support / sustain large scale operations.
Videogame designer here. How much harder is it to get a headshot on a moving target compared to a shot to the torso? I need numbers, is it 3x harder? 5x harder?
OP im getting some weird vibes from this

Yeah 4chan is definitely the best place to look for that kind of data
I've decided that I want to get my first shotgun since I've got an old trap/skeet thrower to practice with. I was thinking about getting a pump action to start with since they're supposedly the most reliable, so I went to a gun store to try out a Mossberg 500 and Remington 870. I found that it was very difficult to depress the slide release on either of them. I pretty much had to take it off my shoulder to push it in with my fingernail each time because the soft pad of my index finger couldn't apply enough force and was uncomfortable.
Is there a pump-action shotgun without this issue? Should I just get a Benelli M4 instead?
You're not going to be using the slide release much at all. It's not something you particularly want to be easy to press and I'm sure it'll loosen up with use. The Benelli nova/supernova that I had was fairly easy (but not too easy) if that's a deciding factor for you.
>>33362214
Sorry you have dainty hands? Start swinging a hammer or something and build some muscles.
>>33362214
I have a recent-make Mossberg 500 and that isn't the case at all. It's pretty easy to actuate.

So i have to write a speech for my college class about why you should own guns, and in the speech i need to find 3 points against my case to refute.
The problem is, i can think of literally no reason why you shouldn't own a gun
Help /k/?
You shouldn't own a gun because
>increased security
>people, especially minorities, can take an actual stand against tyranny
>positive investments
And authoritarian governments don't want these things to happen
>>33362080
You have to think like a libtard/gun grabber.
>They're only good for murder!
>You don't NEED them!
>People who carry guns are more likely to hurt themselves or other innocents than an attacker!
>You have police to protect you!
>Guns are a leading cause of violence!
This shit writes itself, anon. Now, rather than the knee jerk "You fucking moron" reaction most of us have to some idiot saying that online, come up with well thought out and carefully worded responses to each one.
>>33362114 here, do you get extra credit if you come up with rebuttals for more arguments? Because I could go on.

I had a thought the other day, Can a private individual pick up a fire arm directly from a factory instead of having is shipped to a gun store? I mean would it be legal, I can't find anything on google about it.

>>33361967
What is not allowed is prohibited.
Any serious answers?
>>33361953
Since the factory has a type 07 FFL, that allows them to do everything a type 01 FFL (standard gun shop), as well as manufacture guns for sale.
So yes, provided the factory/company would let you, they could sell you a gun right off of the assembly line. You'd still need a background check done tho.

But your country is a giant piece of shit, as a whole, whereas Canada has spotty moments.

Longclaw looks better.

is it high carbon valyrian steel or stainless valyrian steel?
Why did the US switch from M1911 to the M9 for sidearms?

I have a chance to buy a Daewoo 51 that is mildly wore for $440 from a guy I know. Are they good guns? Should I buy or buy the new lionhearts? Would it be worth it?
Pic unrelated
>>33361696
Worth getting for that price. They are neat and different.
Do it, they are pretty much F-15's.
What type of ammo shoots well out of it? Is it good for CC?
>>33361696
carnikcon (bless his soul) had a good video on them and some other Daewoo guns.
