I've been looking around various 3-6x prism scopes, there seems to be more and more popping up everyday since the patents on ACOGs went up. From what I understand the Vortex Strikefire 3x is pretty good, any others? I've thought about getting an ACOG but I really need that diopter adjustmen and ACOGs are fixed diopter.
I can recommend the Primary arms 3x. Im very satisfied and it uses the same bases as ACOGs so you can upgrade
>>33374521
The Primary Arms 3x does look pretty nice, and I could even put a red dot on the top. Does it have adjustable diopter?
Primary Arms and Burris ones looks neat. I wanted to try a Burris 3x but then I Holosun'd.
Haven't began using weapons until I enlisted in the Army, but since I'm stationed in Texas, I think I'm going to get a few for myself.
Pic related, my favorite weapon I've used so far.
New to guns and shit, so what are some other easy to handle rifles like the M4?
>>33374436
You type like a twelve year old. Maybe try a less vague and retarded question.

What is THE best surplus gas mask for nbc operations?
>>33374400
>without the pipe
pick up that can
>>33374400
My understanding is that they're all pretty useless for anything being the novelty or LARPing due to expired filters. So, meh.
>>33374400
If nbc is your concern the suit and decontamination baths are a bit more important than the mask
you are the top general in China. How do you invade taiwan without getting your ass kicked by the US?
>>33374357
Slowly encouraging mainland-sympathetic immigration until you have a strong enough voting block to control the government
Subversion
>>33374357
By using the same economic seeding that we've been using for the last 20 years.
Other than that I wouldn't expect for the USA to try to retake Taiwan for a while. They'd probably fight a naval war, which they'd probably win, then start strategically attacking the Chinese mainland. They'll threaten Honk Kong, possibly even take it. I could try to bog them down but I doubt I'll be getting much support from the locals.
The only real option is to hold out and hope that American bombing isn't as bad as it might be. Once our surface fleet is destroyed their is not a chance in hell we're building anything new. I'd focus on submarine production but rushing effective modern submarines is a hell of a feat and it takes too much time. If we did build up a sub-fleet we should assume that the US would build more ASW ships and capabilities. Naval expansion is inevitable under the Trump administration.
So that's my best option, build subs, mine the waters, and hope that you can give the US enough trouble to convince them that peace would be a better option than war. What could do that I don't know. You'd have to offer them something incredible like a huge share in south asia sea oil. That might not even do it.
tl;dr at this stage not possible.
What's up /k/ommandos
Need some help or opinions on stab resistant vests.
I'm a CO in a maximum security prison. Things have been escalating rapidly and the shit will hit the fan here anytime now. I want a stab resistant vest. My department is full of fuck wads and bleeding hearts, they do not provide us with vest so it will be out of my own pocket. I do have some disposable income though. Also AMA I guess. Thanks for the help!
While I can't give you any recommendations for a stab proof vest, good on you for taking it upon yourself to buying better equipment than what you're issued.
>>33374273
there really aren't any stab proof vests. Even Kevlar isn't good for that purpose. Might want some super light weight plates + side plates instead. Those will still have gaps though so they aren't full proof.
>>33374396
See that's the thing, needs to be covert. Under the shirt and not to bulky and don't need stab proof per se, just some protection against shanks, edged weapons and maybe needles
So, today I found a recipe for fake cum.
As any sane person would agree, the best way to use this newfound knowledge to build a semen-slinging squirt gun built for it.
I thought about just using a super-soaker, but I think the thick nature of it would get demolished by the thin nozzle and wouldn't really do the trick.
Here's my beta design, would it work /k/? Is there a better way?
The recipe, for reference: adultblogz.co.uk/fake-cum/

>So today, I found the recipe for fake cum
>I thought just about using a super soaker
Holy Judas
>>33373950
Yeah, that would work.
Possibly try to make one of the bb guns that Nighthawkinlight has made on YouTube.
Or just widen the nozzles of the auper soaker.

Looking to buy a 7mm Rem Mag for fudding. I'm trying to decide between a controlled feed (CZ 550) and a push feed (Tikka T3). Any suggestions/thoughts on the difference?
also post your bolt guns
the fudd safari hunters will tell you that nothing besides controlled feed even exists, but for all intents and purposes, it doesn't matter as much as the overall quality of the weapon.
with a controlled feed you do lose the ability to dropload though, unless you have a beveled bolt face like a ruger.
>>33373915
I would agree with them just because if I'm on a safari with the possibility of having my self gored by an elephant then I want my feeding to work in every damn position imaginable.
Otherwise push feed is fine for regular old durr hunting.
>>33373915
>>33373933
Thanks for the feedback. I'll probably go push feed for the drop load. Also overall, I think I like the Tikka better for the money.

What do you guys/gals/traps think about brittishmuzzleloaders? Personally I love his videos and the nearly autistic level of detail that he goes into - I really learn new stuff from him as opposed to most youtube gun channels. But I somehow feel sorry for him that he doesn't have his own Karl - an equally passionate friend that could join him in the videos, yell Victorian era drill commands at him and play British colonial dress-up with.
>>33373834
I like it, Cap&Ball is also good with the Hapsburg
Refreshing to see how much effort he puts into each video.
>>33373857
Agree, though I like how he delves into equipment as well, something that Cap&Ball doesn't do. Plus brittishmuzzleloaders' voice is better.
Loo/k/ what the mailman left for me today...
$93.00 shipped, or 18.6 cents per round.
How'd I do?

Ok, aside from part compatibility clusterfuck. What other issues pop up with the AR10 or the AR in 308?
Also, is rule of thumb to get matching barrel and BCG?
Go prebuilt. Building an AR10 just isn't worth it.
>>33373833
So does Mega Arms make a good one?
>>33373643
M&P10s and those Windhams are pretty good value for money.
Do most gun companies have a terrible sense of aesthetics, or do they just not care?
>>33373530
>implying the rhino isn't aesthetic as fuck
What are you, some kind of queer?
>>33373530
It seems like so many companies just get so close but fail on the details
Maybe if you had a pic of a hi point it would make your point.
The rhinos are at least interesting looking.
Is the whole"sending unarmed men into combat" thing historically accurate for the Soviet Union?
>>33373234
Parts of pre-WW1 wars: Yes.
parts of WW1: Yes.
To stem the tide of the German advance in WW2/used at very desperate points after Stalingrad: Yes
Used in the way TV/Movies/Video Games show it: Not really.
>>33373234
Quite much, yes : during the German push, countless lives were sacrificed to prevent the Germans from winning the war while retreating to strecht out German supply lines and wait for winter ; and when the Soviets began to gain back ground, men tides were used to force the Germans into a quickier restreat.
Only at the very beginning of Operation Barbarossa
>be carrying concealed pistol
>enter Walgreens
>alarm goes off at the scanner device that usually sets off when people are stealing shit
>hear "IC4" paged overhead twice
>employees stare at me
>no one says anything to me or approaches me
>same thing happens when I leave
Anyone else had something like this happen? I didn't have any merchandise on me when I entered that would have had a tag or security device on to activate that alarm.
Would a company like that have a weapons detection system? Guess I should also say I was in a town of 20k in the midwest... not tons of crime here...
how would you detect weapons?
>>33372885
Are you retarded?
does your gun happen to have an RFID chip in it?
Anyone thinking about buying this?
why would I? looks like trash
