There actually seem to be plenty of 907 bros on /k/
I've definitely driven that road a few times.

It's pretty /k/ alright.

Why did Russians shitcan the women as soon as the war was over?
I thought they were supposed to have been good but the Russians never really tried to bring them back
>>33314733
Same as in the other countries. Senior officer staff didn't want women in their ranks, and politicians truly hated the idea of an army of uppity women demanding equality and stuff.
Memes aside, what specificlly is wrong with the F-35?
>>33314447
Horribly management made worse by people on the internet
>>33314447
The problem that the JSF program ran into was that the DoD decided to start piling on extra requirements without adjusting the budget and schedule accordingly.
The idea was that they'd mature a bunch of technologies with the F-35, spreading development costs across 3,000 aircraft and saving money in the long term by developing things in such a way that they could be applied across a wide range of aircraft (like the F-22 or B-21). That, in and of itself, was actually a great idea. The work done on the RAM coating on the F-35 can be applied to most of the other stealth aircraft we have as well as those in development, and the B-21 is already planning to draw heavily from the F-35 for avionics and engines.
The problem was that there was no adjustment of budget and schedule to account for this. The DoD kept to the same schedule they set back in the mid '90s when the JSF program started in spite of the massive changes to the program. Rather than incrementally adjust the budget and schedule as new requirements and features were added, they waited until the originally planned IOC - in 2010 - to do any significant program reorganization.

How you holding up, /k/?
I lost a friend of three years.
I voted Trump in a blue state and he got all pissy since he's a centrist turned Liberal Hillary supporter.
When Trump got elected he started avoiding everyone because of politics, but kept updating his status with shit like "makes sense why people commit suicide during the political season", worrying the fuck out of me,
only to then also post anti-2a and false flag supporting horse crap as his status after worrying the shit out of me and not responding to me over politics. Shit about all the hate crimes being committed on Muslims in the States and how it's just like muh Brexit only now everyone has guns and could use them. Pissed me the fuck off.
Comes on, says he'll chat in a week,
week goes by, to the day changes his status to "Friends make the worst enemies"
Everyone I asked said it seemed passive aggressive as shit, and it'd been a month since he went AWOL and posted suicide status shit, so I got worried and left a message saying, "That's a poor choice of status, man"
He gets on, cusses me out, says he can put whatever the fuck he wants in his status and I can't stop him from it, quote was from a Netflix show and obviously had no relation to me,
then goes offline for 4 fucking months without saying a word. Keeps updating that fucking status and posting images, though.
Gets on, says he didn't know there was still an issue and he'd be fine talking about it in a week,
week goes by, two months go by,
one night depressed and sleep deprived as fuck, leave a heart felt message that I just wanna get the situation over with, tired of waiting,
removed.
I feel empty as shit.
dude he sounds like a total fucking fag wtf
To be honest if he gets this triggered by the god emporer you are probably better off without him. Lefties like that tend to get violent for not good reason.
>>33314219
Welcome to adulthood, where politics shape the relations around you. You're gunna lose a lot of friends like this, time to suck it up and let the asshole fade, there's no reason keeping people that shitty in your life and it was a ticking time bomb no matter how you look at it.
>Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Didn't see one up in the catalog, so I took the liberty of making a new one.
I'll kick things off;
Are there any glaring functionality problems with the Ruger LC9?
I just want to know if it's a lemon before I decide to buy one.
>>33313921
They're alright.
My uncle is asking me if I want a Savage 11/111 in 300 Winchester magnum for $250. I'm probably going to buy it, but I was curious how the recoil of 300 magnum is? Only thing I've really shot that might compare is a mosin 91/30.
Obviously I'm not gonna be plinking with it all day, but I just got into reloading and figure that's a round I can save quite a bit on reloading. Plus I need a deer gun.
>>33313921
Is dry firing your weapon a bad idea, and if so, why?
How do you decock most weapons without dry firing?
Would you rather be sent on an operation to clean out a nest xenomorphs or pursue a hunting band of predators?
What weaponry would you take for the task?

Quick question to start the thread, if I have a USP45 full sized mag can I put a USP45c base plate on it? Are they compatable?

Seriously, does anyone here own a USP45 and USP45c?
How do HK rifles compare to their handguns? Are they just as good because their handguns are pretty much top tier.

That was supposed to imply a thorough cleaning
I ran quite a few patches through the barrel and that ended up staying clear of rust, he soaked the brake in a cup of hoppes and ran paper towels soaked in hoppes through the gas tube and inside the block
Rusting was minimal but still occurred there.
the majority was on the ends of the gas tube and inside the brake.
So we just soaked everything in eds red and decided we just don't want to use corrosive ammo anymore, I'll pay the extra cent or two for Silver bear or GT so I don't have to rush home and clean a rifle
