AWS finally charged me for by belt after three weeks but it has been a week since then and nothing yet. Got my mag pouches and holster though so those are ready
>>33343246
Eh. Starting week 7 of not hearing shit-all about my order with Gearcraft. And since it was paypal I was charged instantly.
I sent them an email on Monday and a second email this morning, we'll see if it goes anywhere.
>>33343246
nice. I'm still waiting on a pack I ordered a fucking year ago.

>Israel bombing T4? SAA unable to do shit against it?
I tried to post a thread about that earlier. What about Syria's claims of hitting two Israeli aircraft? What sort of AA is even running for most of Syria, barring Russian S-400s near their bases, and probably some sort of S-300s around Damascus?
>>33337902
>What about Syria's claims of hitting two Israeli aircraft?
>S-200s: old, known quantities to the Israelis, in questionable states of maintenance/readiness, designed to shoot down bombers from the 60s, manned by whatever remains of the Syrian military.
vs
>F-15Is: some of the most advanced F-15Es in the skies, operated by a country and pilots with extensive experience in EW, SEAD, Syrian airspace, and generally blowing things up.
With no wreckage found, and denial by the Israelis, it's a non-starter.
More interesting is the claim Israel made that they shot down an S-200 with the Arrow system. Besides it being the first operational use of Arrow (the booster was found in Jordan, so we know it isn't bullshit), worth noting that it's very unlikely the official story that it shot down a 5V28E missile is true. It's more probable it hit a SSM fired from Syria, but the Israelis don't want to escalate matters, so they lied.

>>33338021
Indestering , I'm not going to wade into what exactly was hit by Isreali airstrikes as I have no idea who or what was hit but I think everyone knows the Syrian government claim they shot down a IAF jet is shit.
These kind of claims make me roll my eyes at pro SAA sources almost as much as pro rebel sources trying to claim no Al Qaeda were killed at that mosque near Idlib by US airstrikes.

EDC Thread /maximalist/ addition
Considering getting my ccw at some point in the near future. Might be a dumb question, but how come I rarely see people using a shoulder holster? I see people saying that certain IWB carries are really irritating to use if you drive a lot (which I do), and shoulder feels like it would be a comfortable alternative, but I'm wary, since no one seems to do it, and I feel like there might be something wrong with it.
Anyone have a p-01 and use it as for cc? Been thinking of getting one.

No Clipazines above 10 rds for rifles, scary rifles like AK47 and M16 and such pls go.
Semiautomatic variants of these rifles are also illegal.
Then they mention open bolt designs, without explicitly saying so and that these are easily converted to full auto, therefore all semi autos should be banned.
Didn't the bataclan guys use AMDs?
Anyhow, read for yourself.

Here is the real kicker: Stuff that looks like a firearm - IS A FIREARM. We have reached the point where painting a nerf gun black makes it a firearm.
Why are they so retarded?

Hey yo /k/ommando's in Europe just move here in the US, there's lots of room here, and more of you means more pro gun voters=Even more gun rights.
Fuck Europe, let the fucking liberals get rape by the Muslims, the US will liberate it afterwards and you can go home then.

60kW by Lockheed.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/checkpoint/wp/2017/03/16/lockheed-martin-says-it-is-ready-to-hand-over-laser-weapon-to-u-s-army-for-testing
>With the 60-kilowatt laser announced this morning, Lockheed says that it has reached that goal and that the weaponry is ready to be deployed.
>“In terms of the maturity of this technology to be field-able on an Army vehicle, this technology is ready for that,” Afzal said.
>The company said its initial testing showed the laser to be near physical limits for accuracy and reasonably energy-efficient, directing 43 percent of electricity used to power it directly into the laser itself, helping it deal with the mobility problem.
>The system is designed to be a low-weight solution that sits on a ground-based vehicle called a Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT), essentially a truck designed for carrying large artillery.

Lasers suck
Bump anyways for discussion
Burkes also expected to get a 60kW laser in 2020.

Neat. That only sucks down slightly less than 140 kW, which can be produced with a 200hp diesel generator.

Stolen Valor stories
I know this isn't really weapons related but....
Today, I was in my LGS checking out a deal on 9mm ammo and shooting the shit with one of the employees when this guy comes in.
>Walks in and sighs loud enough for people to turn around and look at him
>Employee asks him after a second with another customer, "Can I help you find anything today?
>This guy looks like fucking Leonard from Big Bang Theory with a buzz cut wearing what looks to me like Navy DBDU
>Starts talking loudly to the other employee saying he needs a plate carrier, 2 bricks of .45 and a Glock 37 in FDE
>Clearly he's looking for respect and a discount
>Employee asks him if he's in the Navy and he says, I kid you not, "No, I'm in the Air Force, I just got back home from SERE School in California and he's back here to go to SERE training at Parris Island"
>.......................................
>I've never been in the military but I know he's full of shit.
>Employee tells him to leave immediately and he's a fucking disgrace
I guess he just bought his uniform and thought he'd take it out for a test drive.
That was my first time seeing Stolen Valor in person and it was sooooooo obvious. How can people be that dumb, he did literally 0 research at all.
Anyone else ever experience stolen valor first hand?
