LGS has an Interarms 6" Luger chambered in 9mm. Bluing excellent and appears to be unfired. It comes with its original box and paperwork altogether for $1,000. Is it worth it? Pic related looks just like it
>>33415787
Has the American eagle stamp on top. Didn't have enough time to get a year of manufacture
>>33415787
Do you want a Luger?
Are you willing to pay $1000 for one?
>>33415806
You're kidding right? Most German made Lugers are well over $1000 for even mixmaster refinished guns.
So I went to a gun range for the first time today. What does /k/ think of my shot grouping? (The gun was an AR-15 chambered in 7.62 x 51)
>>33415556
>no sot count
>no measurement
>no distance
>no optic
>no specific ammo
I'm completely unable to think anything about it
>>33415556
Woah. You have the worlds first ar15 chambered in a 7.62x51 round did you machine it yourself this is most impressive
>>33415577
10 meters away
The grid is 10 x 15 square inches
Iron sights
10 shots
I didn't see what type of ammo it was
So, I just got my first suppressor out of NFA jail yesterday. I have a few questions about it.
1. Can I shoot it wet? I've seen some people say you can't shoot rifle suppressors wet, and others saying you can.
2. How often should I check for alignment while shooting? I have a QD mount for it and it seems to lock in there pretty tight.
>>33415322
When you say shoot it wet, do you mean liquid on the outside or inside of the suppressor? If it's just some rain, it won't hurt, but submerging it after sustained firing will probably warp it. If you mean liquid on the inside, you should check with the manufacturer or the manual. Some of them are able to make use of certain liquids inside to dampen noise, but check first. Also, you shouldn't have to worry about alignment very much. If you're using a brake as an adapter for the suppressor, it will stay tight for quite a while. Sustained fire or full auto fire means you should check it every couple hundred rounds. Take a pair of those heavy duty gardening gloves to the range and give the suppressor a twist every so often to make sure it's tight. Normally this isn't necessary.
>>33415438
I mean putting wire pulling gel or water on the inside. Supposedly it makes it 15-30 db quieter. I checked everything I could find, theres no mention of shooting it wet in any of the manuals.

What brand of suppressor is it?

So /k/ how well does Riot Gear work against being set on fire. I personally think that it should protect fairly well against an open flame, but say you get some flammable liquid on your gear, will if light?
Of course gasoline will light on clothes, but what you don't want is your equipment melting onto your skin.
...I guess it's who you buy it from and what it's made of.
I see molten plastic on you can be a problem, but i would think that due to moltovs and other flammable things beings a common items by rioters, then the gear makers would take that into consideration. Yet i cant find documentation for it anywhere.

Gee, anon, I don't know
What is decent, reliable semi-automatic rifle for under $600?
Can't go wrong with a basic AR.
>>33415073
SKS, shitty-meh AR, Decent AK, used Mini-14, universal M1 carbine. Probably more.

Ruger AR556 can now be found below $500 fairly easily
S&w m&p15 sport 2 is right there as well.
is it legal to open carry on a city bus. i had a bus driver tell me to get off the bus cause you cant have a gun on the bus. then he puts the bus and park and wont move it. so i had to walk to work.

You have to be autistic as fuck to come to 4chan for any sort of legal, medical....shit, just any advice in general. Look at your local/state laws. It might be legal for me in my state, illegal in yours. Also it helps if you actually include your state and city.
Would grease be better for your slide rails than regular clp?
>>33414640
The rule is: If it slides it gets grease, if it rotates it gets oil.
I use this grease:

These pictures were supposedly taken somewhere between Iceland and Jan Mayen in March 1971 trough the periscope of the american military submarine USS Trepang, classification number SSN 674, which, at the time was on a routine military and scientific (whatever that means in a military context) mission.
The man on the periscope was called John Kilika, he was the first to spot them, although the man actually taking the pictures is unknown.
They were made available to the public by researcher Alex Mistretta, who in turn got them from an anonymous european source.
The source claimed that there were the following notes on the back of one of the pictures:
“Official photograph. Not to be released. CT.”
and
“Unauthorized Disclosure Subject. Security Certificate SSN 674. Criminal Sanction.”
I am not making any statements about what these things could be.

I've shot it, it's a nice sub-compact, but the magazine spring was hella tight. Like so tight, I couldn't hand load more than 10 into the 12 round flush mag.
Picked this up this morning.
I also got a new subcompact
Why does /k/ hate marines so much? Redpill me on the marine corps
I can't speak for /k/, and I don't "hate" them per se, but a friend of mine joined a couple years back. He was under the assumption that it was a brotherhood (you know, "the few, the proud"), and turned out everyone important is an asshole and everyone hates each other (his words). Frankly my problem is with the whole US military, they've been infested with PC culture and big govt. in general. All my friends and family who served have told me to stay away in it's entity. 20 years ago they would have said otherwise, but they all told me the current culture within is cancer.
>>33414287
Because we hate ourselves, Anon
Mostly their overly-bravado attitude and how they act like they are the best the military has to offer. I actually worked with some Marines as a Chair Force guy last year and none of them really acted like that anyway and were really cool to work with. Just their NCOs acted like dicks.
So I got these from that one website for $25 plus free shipping. How did I do?
How do I sharpen then? The edge is garbage on them, also which of the squared off ones do you think is higher quality because I will be giving the lower quality one to my friend probably
>>33414273
Sharpen them with a regular metal file, then a sharpening stone.
Remember, machetes don't need to be razor sharp, the edge will wear down faster the sharper you get it. Machetes need to be able to hold an edge under normal usage.
>>33414273
So you paid $25 for some semi useful scrap metal probably worth $5-10 in materials.
Not bad I guess but don't be surprised when one shatters because shitty tempering or warps because the steel is too soft (i.e. low carbon).
>>33414273
I bought the same deal, you sadly didn't get the meme unga bunga curved sword but that one on the top is hella neat.
