Have a question about G3/PTR91.... it's getting harder and harder to chamber a round in mine. Has yet to jam or not go through a mag, but just loading the first round is becoming difficult. I just cleaned it and ran it this weekend. Any thoughts? Pic is my rifle, although there is many like it, this one is mine.

Gonna buy a pump shotgun, for no other reason than shits & giggles.
Since my country has no SBS laws, I was wondering: What length you'd recommend?
Since this is just for recreative use, mag cap is not very relevant. I won't be shooting skeet or trap with it, so no need for extra length there. SBS would be handy for home defense, I guess, but it's certainly not a primary use for it.
Main choices appear to be 14", 18.5" & 20". I'm rather torn. Short is handy & lighter. Long has longer sight radius and higher capacity (also more readily available).

Frankly, a shotgun barrel isn't that heavy. So chopping it off a bit, wouldn't lower weight by much. Or am I wrong?
It'd make it easier to maneuver inside enclosed spaces though.

Hey /k/ maybe you guys can help me solve an issue with my CETME's ejection problem. I know, I know, I should have just save my money for something else, but this is what I have, and I want it to work.
I can't even manually cycle the bolt to eject cartridges since the bolt just retains the round after chambering and firing. I made sure the ejector was cleaned out of all the gunk gumming up the spring and it now loosely hangs on to a cartridge, so that I can turn and pull it freely, but I think the metal bar underneath the bolt isn't springing all the way up and kicking the cartridge out. Can someone help me fix this issue? Can post more pics after church.

probably because you're using steel case ammo instead of brass cased. the french had that problem with the first gen of the FAMAS. they wouldn't feed all the way up and the bullets would come out the wrong side of the gun.
