So how do all these felons get away with threatening people with guns they can't even legally own? Do they claim it's artistic fiction or what?

Ok, so I Know you're all are going to say a sword is useless in a shtf scenario, I accept this, but I will still have one as a side arm. My question is which sword would be the best to use?
>>33437793
The one that's also a gun
A machete so you can actually use it for practical things.

Bayonet
Why don't planes carry grappling hooks as a means of destroying or disabling smaller ones?
For example a C-130 could have commandos swing down from it and grapple onto an EMB-110. The C-130 would then pull upwards, lifting the EMB-110 up by its tail. The angle of attack of the EMB-110's wings would then cause them to rip right off.
This would even benefit smaller planes because they usually only have a few hundred rounds of ammunition for their cannons and only a few air to air missiles. When a plane runs out of ammo the pilot could grapple onto another plane and hijack it or steal the other plane's fuel and ammo.
>>33437717
Such a system would require a master plan to even work, and if it failed it would be extremely painful.
Are you Tom Clancy's son?
That plan sounds rather grandiose
Awwwwshit! Who else here Army? Get hyped! No cool schools but I can finally get a badge!

I have a CAB from my deployment, how is that different?
I have a patch.
>>33437764
I've never deployed and the chances of me getting jump school or anything else are nil.
You wake up to see pic related floating in front of your bed, staring you in the eyes. How do you defend yourself and maintain the sanctity of your household?

Why are you still buying meme-level JHP tactifaggot meme rounds?
Why are you not carrying what you practice with?
They all fall to hardball.
>>33437423
Fear of collateral damage is a semi-legitimate concern.
>>33437526
Name ONE instance of that EVER happening. Self defense shooting, not dindu spraying.
Fuck off, troll.
Live in a cucked state so aesthetic gunporn is best I can do. I'm looking for really high res images. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Pic related - kinda thing I'm looking for (unedited is fine though)
Save it its all yours

>>33436839
SHALL
>>33436839
AKs are fine though.
So has anyone dealt with these? How bad are the cracks? Worth getting for the price or no?
Depends on how much it's going for and how much the replacement stock is going to cost, if you're intending on firing it and not making it into a wall hanger.
>>33436605
>nearly $300 for a beat to shit fucking Mosin with broken furniture
It's a $100 rifle for fuck sake, the prices have gotten ridiculous over the last few years.
>>33436979
>$300
lol no
>PDW's are a meme
>Can't do anything a carbine can't
The fuck /k/? I thought pdw's were a meme. Yet the Mp7 is lighter and smaller than any other military production carbine with less recoil to boot
>Muh penetration
It can penetrate body armor out to 150-200 meters. Just how far are you shooting at someone while protecting a vip in a motorcade on a crowded street in a city?
Just use a bullpup SBR m90
>>33436468
The PDWs do serve a purpose in that they are full auto, smaller replacements for sub machine guns like the old MP5. The secret service carries the MP7 because of its concealable size and brutal lethality. Submachine guns like the MP5 and UMP have become obsolete because of their size and inferiority to short barrel rifles which are not significantly larger and heavier. So imho now its PDWs are useful and have a place as do rifles and submachine guns are a meme.
>>33436468
PDWs fulfill a role. One that needs cocealability and tight handling.
Full auto PDWs can be very useful in home defense, but in semi auto only they lose a lot of usefulness. Outside of urban areas, a rifle beats it in every aspect. Even inside its niche, a rifle does fine.
Don't get me wrong, I love PDWs. They're usually the most original and fun guns.
What do you think of special editions of guns?
Do any of you /k/omrades own any special/limited edition guns? Are they worth it?
stuff like the billenium is nice because it offers a functional upgrade over a stock 92, but dressed up art pieces that are simply regular guns covered in giant decals and stupid engraving that will never get shot are fucking pointless.
>>33436456
>those slide serrations
>that grip checkering
>that FRAME SAFETY
Oh man I want one.
>pic related has been sitting in LGS for months because everyone just thinks it's a regular 92
Should I give it a new home?
What does /k/ think of 6.5 Grendel?
I liked Beowulf better, but both stories are good reads imo.
>>33436378
It's got a cool name.
>>33436378
Its stupid, its a 6mm PPC necked up to 6.5 to give it long range so you end up with a compromise round that tried to be good at the 1000 yard shooting that the 6.5 Creedmoor shines at.
6mm PPC holds all accuracy records out to 300 yards, it is the defacto benchrest round. It would be a perfect assault rifle round because of its low recoil. It has great velocity and trajectory. The Grendel just cucks it by not being good at either short or long range.
