I met a really nice girl, we got a long great. We were together for about a year, and then she got into University, and I uprooted my life to go with her. Another year later and she decides she wants to be on her own and figure her life out. I'm just so tired of the bullshit. This is my third relationship that's lasted more than two years and ended terribly.

Great, but my paychecks seem to be fucked up.
Started a new job two weeks ago and they stated very specifically my paycheck would not be held for the first week.
Two weeks later I've only been payed $25ish for almost twenty hours.
I mean, am I missing something about tipshare that means I don't technically have to get payed $7.50 an hour or something?

hello /k/ prospective gun owner here
for a long time now I have thought about buying various guns. truth is I have a hard time justifying the expense since I don't really have a "need" for it (when compared to food/rent/gas)
however now I am getting more motivated to buy a gun, but I am pretty stingy with my cash to go out and buy a 1000+ handgun that meets my fancy when a glock can meet my needs and not cost more.
so i am making this thread for two reasons, one I want to hear about why a glock is a good purchase (specifically I am looking at a 9mm glock to start with that I can modify to shoot full auto with proper tools/ATF stamps). This seems like a cost effective way to get the utility out of a gun as well as have fun.
secondly I want to hear what makes more expensive handguns inherently better than a glock (for example HK USP, 1911, etc.) and worth the extra money
also feel free to compare calibers that aren't 9mm, I am just fixing on this because of it's price.

There are plenty of pistols in the Glock price range from Ruger, S&W, CZ, etc. EAA makes guns that are cheaper but also good quality. Forget about converting your pistol to F/A, legally anyway.

Pretty good gun especially if you can get em cheap. reliable accurate, light for a sig, etc. typical sig meme issues. only real problem is it's a little bit on the bigger side of things when compared to most other 9mm compacts with 15rnd capacity.

Worked as an expat doing force protection in eastern Europe for a year '03-'04. It was OK. Half as much pay s the sandbox/rockpile but zero need to shoot at anyone or get shot at.

I've been looking at scopes and shit, and I've noticed a rather large variety of these "4-in-1" packages being sold on Amazon. They tend to offer a variable-power scope, a red dot, and some sort of laser in one package- and usually for around $100-200. So, naturally, I'm wondering just how much of a scam these things are, because one thing I've heard from /k/ is that cheap optics will bite you in the ass. Has anyone used one of these things? Has anyone seen them in use before? If I've got the disposable income to grab one at some point, should I do it just for shits and giggles?

My friend bought a brand new at 15 last year and spent all his money on the tacticool shit and got one of those scope from amazon for like 260 bucks he ended up regretting it because it wouldn't zero and he was the laughing stock of the range when they saw him use a 1400 dollar DD rifle but a cheap ass scope.
