>tfw my shooting buddys dad gave him a gn for his birthday
>tfw my dad is an antigun cuck and i had to learn about guns all by myself and from the help of /k/
>tfw i want to take him shooting as some point
Absolutely awful.
I met a really nice girl, we got a long great. We were together for about a year, and then she got into University, and I uprooted my life to go with her. Another year later and she decides she wants to be on her own and figure her life out. I'm just so tired of the bullshit. This is my third relationship that's lasted more than two years and ended terribly.
I'm just so tired of trying to care /k/
At least I have my funs, and you guys.
>>33450988
I'm alright. My dad died recently so I'm still dealing with that and all the shit death brings to a family. At least he was a gun loving badass and left his collection to me and my brothers.
>>33450988
Great, but my paychecks seem to be fucked up.
Started a new job two weeks ago and they stated very specifically my paycheck would not be held for the first week.
Two weeks later I've only been payed $25ish for almost twenty hours.
I mean, am I missing something about tipshare that means I don't technically have to get payed $7.50 an hour or something?
I'm getting pissed because I had to cancel some shit off of gunbroker.
>I fucking hate you guys.
>"Hey Jeff, nice catch."
>"Hey, Jeff, you're the bomb!"
>"Hey Jeff, wanna go out for a round?"
>>33450777
Damn if that thing didn't impale his arm that would probably kill him and his entire squad
I like the F4U-1A.

Now that this one is taken ill have to stick to this.
I need recommendations for a good 10mm that isn't a Glock.
I'm not big into Glocks.
>>33450501
Ria 10mm
>>33450622
Or Colt Delta elite if you're a douche, personally I think the RIA is a better deal
>>33450643
$700 for that one. Needs wilson combat mags though.
hello /k/ prospective gun owner here
for a long time now I have thought about buying various guns. truth is I have a hard time justifying the expense since I don't really have a "need" for it (when compared to food/rent/gas)
however now I am getting more motivated to buy a gun, but I am pretty stingy with my cash to go out and buy a 1000+ handgun that meets my fancy when a glock can meet my needs and not cost more.
so i am making this thread for two reasons, one I want to hear about why a glock is a good purchase (specifically I am looking at a 9mm glock to start with that I can modify to shoot full auto with proper tools/ATF stamps). This seems like a cost effective way to get the utility out of a gun as well as have fun.
secondly I want to hear what makes more expensive handguns inherently better than a glock (for example HK USP, 1911, etc.) and worth the extra money
also feel free to compare calibers that aren't 9mm, I am just fixing on this because of it's price.
>>33450353
>that I can modify to shoot full auto with
>>33450380
http://www.survivalops.com/product/full-auto-and-select-fire-glock-kits/
also there are youtube videos? do they not perform reliably when fully automatic?
>>33450353
There are plenty of pistols in the Glock price range from Ruger, S&W, CZ, etc. EAA makes guns that are cheaper but also good quality. Forget about converting your pistol to F/A, legally anyway.
Do you have an opinion on Sig's SP2022? I'm hoping to try one out this coming weekend.
>>33450271
2022 a shit
>>33450358
shut up you little bitch.
>>33450271
Pretty good gun especially if you can get em cheap. reliable accurate, light for a sig, etc. typical sig meme issues. only real problem is it's a little bit on the bigger side of things when compared to most other 9mm compacts with 15rnd capacity.
>>33450382
My state has a 10 round limit, so that's fine.
What do you guys think of a 1911? And can you guys advise me on which brand I should go with that is under $1000?
sentimental trash
>>33450254
Shoots fucking nice though
1911 is one meme I can get behind
ruger, kimber. RIA
read this as yourself.
>be me, be 25
>be marine officer home on leave in a city that sincerely respects military
>big party during leave, say carnival or mardi gras
>in bar with brother # 3 beers in
>cop comes in tells bouncer he's over max occupancy, bouncer tells cop to GFY
>cop pulls fire alarm
>everyone must evacuate
>brother leaves before me
>he faces opposite the crowd to look at the door waiting for me
>see scruffy bigger dude walk towards him
>he pushes my brother says "hey stupid get moving"
>I run in and shove guy saying "that's my brother, you touch him you get me too"
>he shoves me, I shove him back feel he's got a gun on him.
I draw my Glock 19 and shoot him 2 in the chest 1 in the face. dead before he hits the ground.
>I wasn't carrying my gun so I tried to KO him before he pulled the gun on me.
>Turns out he was an undercover state trooper.
>after I got a good hit on him I wake up on the ground with 5 mass state troopers
>bloodyface.jpg
>they see my military ID after searching me
>explain the situation, immediately let me go.
>I leave and go to another bar
>find the same undercover cop that I fought 2 hours earlier.
>apologize and drink with him.
What happened if I went with the red text course of action instead of the green text course of action?
>>33450030
You're a fucking retard for getting drunk with a gun on you, and you're a bigger retard for starting a fight. You are beyond lucky at how this ended.
If you had shot him, you would be in jail. You would have been straight up legally crucified.
>>33450030
You'd probably not wake up on the ground with 5 state troopers on you
>>33450076
unmarked state trooper shoving my brother. I feel sorry if 3 beers get you drink /k/omrad.
What is the MOST /K/ first person shooter?
multiplayer or single.
>inb4 go back to /v/
it's full of weebs, who hate shooters
>>33450005
The most satisfying fps I've played is Rising Storm. Would recommend
>Squad
>Rising Sun
>Insurgency
Is 500€ a good price for a used aks?
Does anyone have any experience with this little boomsticks?
Pic related
>>33449888
I can't speak for whatever shithole you live in but OP's pic in America is significantly more expensive than that and involves federal paperwork.
probably
>>33449888
Where are you?
You do lock up your weapons, right?
>>33449778
>guns
>in a safe
>that can easily be picked up and carried off somewhere else
you're just putting them in one nifty box for them to steal if you do not have it bolted down
>>33449778
where's a good place to get extra mags for a star model b super?
So what's the deal, do you guys actually go to one of them sex stores and purchase a dildo, or order one online shipped to your home for the sole purpose of taking these stupid pics? Or do you actually shove it in your ass? Is the handgun not enough?
What is the purpose of rounds like 7.62 NATO when intermediate rounds like 5.56 and 5.45 are
>lighter
>lighter recoil
>more accurate
>better wounding potential
and cartridges like .338 Lapua are better for long-range shooting?
>>33449774
>What are machine guns and how do they work?
>>33449774
>What is a DMR?
>>33449774
>more accurate
also they retain energy better at extended ranges and recoil less than full on anti-material rounds
How does a prior military member go about getting a job with a PMC or any other type of contractor.
>>33449708
why not go to their website and send them a resume ?
internet search even wiki has a list
>>33449708
by having a friend who works for one
or being a literal operator and letting them find you
>>33450695
Pretty much what he said. Like any other job. Write a good resume.
Also helps to know someone that works at where you are looking to get on.
Worked as an expat doing force protection in eastern Europe for a year '03-'04. It was OK. Half as much pay s the sandbox/rockpile but zero need to shoot at anyone or get shot at.
What is /k/'s opinion of fully automatic shotguns?
The Daewoo USAS-12, the AA-12, etc.
Why do you like/dislike it?
Outside of extremely limited police use, absolutely pointless.
metric fuckton of firepower, also fuckhueg and can be prone to reliability issues.

Too big to fail
I've been looking at scopes and shit, and I've noticed a rather large variety of these "4-in-1" packages being sold on Amazon. They tend to offer a variable-power scope, a red dot, and some sort of laser in one package- and usually for around $100-200. So, naturally, I'm wondering just how much of a scam these things are, because one thing I've heard from /k/ is that cheap optics will bite you in the ass. Has anyone used one of these things? Has anyone seen them in use before? If I've got the disposable income to grab one at some point, should I do it just for shits and giggles?
It is a scam, save your money for something that can hold a zero
as long as you don't go in with high expectations, or any expectations other than junk, it's your money dude.
maybe you might get lucky and get a winner, but the odds are certainly not in your favour, especially with magnified optics.
Don't do it bro
My friend bought a brand new at 15 last year and spent all his money on the tacticool shit and got one of those scope from amazon for like 260 bucks he ended up regretting it because it wouldn't zero and he was the laughing stock of the range when they saw him use a 1400 dollar DD rifle but a cheap ass scope.
