What is the difference between a 500, 590, and 590A1? Can I buy one of the 590A1 7 shot 18.5 inch guns, remove the extension tube, and put a regular mag cap on it to switch back to a 6 shot one?

So finally saw this movie yesterday, and all bullshit aside, Rachel McAdams' Oscar worthy death scene is still jarring my brain. I don't know what it is... i can watch all the gore on here, kids and dogs included and barely flinch. But shit like that just gets to me.

So when I was 13 my dad told me that vegetable oil is a good substitute for any oil. Car oil, oil for your door hinges, he even oiled my daisy model 25 with it and it worked.
about a year ago, my Lee Enfield wasn't working very well, it was hard to bolt and my buddy told me I should oil it. I bathed the whole thing in vegetable oil for a few minutes, and then wiped it off and wrapped it in news papers. I put it in my attic and somehow forgot about it for a whole fucking year. I think it's because the next day I got a Smith and Wesson m1911 and had lots of fun with it for at least a month,
Anyway I just remembered my Enfields existence yesterday, and dug it out of my attic.
It was totally fucked. The wood was spongey all over the gun, and when I tried to bolt it, it would barely move and there was a thick dark yellow crust all over the parts.
Is it fucked? What do I do?

Haven't used it yet, but I can tell it wont be comfy for heavy loads. No waist belt, load sits pretty far back, especially with the rifle carrier on the very back rather than the side.
Im planning on using it for a hunt pack all the same.

So I got this black GP 5 off BudK (le FudK XD) and I can't find anything if the filter it came with is safe. On the website it says it's a SCHM-41 (military GP-5?) and the comments go back and forth between it containing asbestos. Doubt I will ever have to use it but it would be nice to know if it could give me cancer.

Asbestos filters are actually fine as long as the the asbestos barrier isn't broken as it's inhaling the fibers from broken barriers that gives you cancer. Check the date on it and that will tell you if the barrier is most likely or not intact, but stock up on other filters when you can.

Imagine it like an extreme area of effect weapon. A deployment vehicle of any kind launches a swarm towards the area they wish to deny. Large scale numbers of drones pour out and completely control the area. Killing any human, hitting any soft target, attaching themselves to any hard target. Your tank will be covered in 4-5 explosive drones waiting to kill any nearby soft target.
In addition logistics will be dropping batteries in the area. For instance autonomously created logistical energy depots will be established as the swarm moves deeper. To recharge any energy of near depletion drones and allowing them to continue.
It's massive scale swarm warfare and it completely obsoletes whatever came before. A traditional army is just dead bodies.

It's a 16" barrel with a midlength gas system, not a carbine length gas system and it has a milspec 1/7 twist rate, not that gay 1/9 twist. Midlength gas system is softer shooting and more correct for a 16" barrel (plus you can mount a bayonet correctly) and 1/7 twist barrel gives you a lot more ammo choices in the heavier grains (69gr, 75gr, 77gr).
