>muh safety is just another thing to forget that can go wrong
So by that logic cops should stop using active retention holsters then too? I mean you could forget to undo the strap or press the button and your gun won't work
I laugh every time one of you dumbasses shoot yourselves in the leg because "muh perfection"
Retention holsters:
>stop someone else from taking your gun
>necessary
External safety:
>Not necessary
do you need anything else cleared up for you?
>>33544555
>most cops use Glocks
>if it's not a Glock it's something without a safety
>OP btfo his own retard post all by himself for Le epic trole thread
XD
>>33544555
Why carry with ammunition in the gun at all? It's possible to shoot yourself with one in the chamber, thats just too dangerous and I laugh everytime one of you dumbasses shoot yourselves or a loved one because "muh safety"
Is 9mm good for self defense?
>>33544407
It is just fine. Don't worry about the memes.
>>33544407
I don't really understand what is happening in the OP pic.

Guy tries to help buddies, gets shot
Would you be embarrassed to get smoked by a Kel-Tec? Like you got killed by some poor fuck who couldn't afford a better gun
I dunno they seem pretty fun, don't knock on em too much. I would operate with a s2k if I had to.
>>33544396
Yes
>>33544396
>being embarassed by getting killed by a kel-tec
imagine being a pirate and getting hit by a cannon ball
What is the most deadly pre-industrial weapon, and why is it the double scythe?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAzJOULyx5c
A rifle that was made before the industrial revolution happened.
>>33544375
>be me
>pre-industrial badass

>Walk out with a box of 7mm ammo and a finished DROS for the MAS.

'Surp thread, with a focus on the best deals you've found.
So I've tried running brass cased ammo in my Mosin but I keep getting double feeds. What am I doing wrong?
>>33544526
I never have that problem with my WZ-48.
I picked up an Belgian 1889 carbine that avoided the 1916 updates, comes with cleaning rod and sling. Unsure why I bought it desu will make good trade fodder if nothing else..
I have my cz 75b for trade on armslist, I've been offered a palmetto freedom ar, glock 26,sign p225a1 and a winchester model 94. What do I choose?
>>33544235
If you do anything other than the P225A1 you're a loser and a nerd
>>33544235
Well what gun do you fucking want?
>>33544251
The P225A1 is a piece of shit. It's just a P239 dressed up like a 225 with magazines that work in neither.
Post and talk about optic with pinch of meme and dash of shitposting.

Why would you willingly go to Detroit?

>The concern centers on the possibility of brain injuries from shoulder-fired weapons like the Carl Gustaf, a recoilless rifle that resembles a bazooka and is powerful enough to blow up a tank.
I've heard that they only allow for two or three training shots a day due to safety concerns.
Where I come from we only got like six shots in total during my conscription due to budget concerns.
One thing is certain, 'ol charlie really knows how to clear your sinuses, blasts the snot right out of your head.
Can't have brain injury....
If your brain barely works
Cyborgs wouldn't have this issue. Humans are soft pieces of shit.
>TFW turned 30 two months ago. >Former FMF corpsman out for 5 years and now have a shitty civvie job that pays pretty good bennies
>Still dream about Afghanistan but now when I wake up I'm sad I'm not there
>Spend all day fantasizing about going back
>Day dream about becoming a PMC but know I'd probably never be hired since I only have one combat deployment
>Wish Trump would start Iraq v.3.0 so that I could join some cowboy PMC outfit or even just reenlist with a guarantee of a deployment
Are my operating days over /k/? Any other older former military here want to go back?
You at least got to operate
>tfw never got to join because of injuries from my dumb teenage years so was denied by every branch
>always dream of operating, something romantic about war
I...
>>33543758
>It's better to have operated and stopped than to have never operated at all.
>>33543694
Is that a PVS-10 on that M240? I'm pretty sure those aren't designed for machineguns.
I'm thinking of the whole PMC thing myself OP. Deploying is a part of who I am, even if it's only once every five or so years.
Alright /k/, help me to decide which branch of military to join. Leaning toward the Navy.
>>33543291
Just join the air force if you have the memtal capacity, there is no reason to:
>slum it and die like a jarhead
>get deployed and redeployed like a grunt
>spend months on a shitty ship surrounded by gay men like a semen
Take the easy road for smart people, and if you really want to see combat there is always the PJs

AR with a whacky heat shield?
Wouldn't that be detrimental to firing wth the housing covering the end of the barrel like that? Like safety wise, could fuck you up?
Rubber bands on sopmod stocks. Wtf? Is this a meme?
>>33542577
You never know when a rubber band can save your life
>>33542577
On the original models the latch would come loose, the rubberband held pressure on the latch keeping the stock on
Early (pre-LMT) crane stocks had issues with the latches coming loose, so the operator types (only ones that had them at that point anyway) would put bands around them to stop the wobble.
