Post your first guns you had as a child and the memories you have with them.
Pick related they were mine and my brothers when we were 7.

Hah, my grandma has had an 1890 in like .22 short leaning up in her kitchen for my whole life. I never personally fired it though.
Mine and my older brother's first guns. My dad bought me and him these and they were the first guns that were "ours". I've got fond memories of squirrel hunting in our grandparents woods. And it saved our lives once. I can greentext the story of anyone is interested
What will the Australian army use after the ef88 and f88?
Also just found out adf doesn't really use the 5.56x45 nato
We use our own custom projectile.

5.56 NATO is a measurement, and it does use a round of that size, it's just not the same one used by some other nations.

I'm headed to my LGS to buy a new Benelli MR1 for $475. I ended up talking the dude down and he's throwing in a few STANAG mags and a Lancer 20, a range trip, and some other stupid shit.
He's just grateful he's found someone interested in the gun and he doesn't care if he's losing money on it.

>Magazine size makes little difference. Therefore the government shouldn't ban large magazines.
I agree with the conclusion, but not the reasoning. The argument is a non sequitur. If magazine capacity makes little difference, then magazine capacity limits are not a substantial burden on the right to be armed.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCSySuemiHU
>>35006401
It creates a burden. Instead of one magazine, I now have to buy 3 to hold the same amount of ammo. 10 round mags are approximately the same cost of 30 rounders. More capacity is always better, but limiting capacity isn't really going to impact the potential lethality of a mass shooter. Also fuck you. SHALL.
>>35006401
Difference to what?
Protip: Of course arguments full of undefined terms don't hold up. Define your terms, then we'll talk.
the 2nd amendment is about the power of the common man to be armed against the government. 30 round mags are the government standard. so it would be unconstitutional for the common man to be disallowed to buy cheap standard capacity mags. I would tolerate a mag cap of 31 rounds but no less.
also for these same reasons full-auto should be legal.
Does the Chinese military lack "Warrior Spirit" and would this be a realistic major disadvantage if they went to war?
That any country could defeat them with a lewd woman. Death of a billion men from nosebleeds
on the contrary, warrior spirit is all they have. they lack everything else.

Do I order the SPARC or the StrikeFire II? Less than 12 hours to decide.
Also, is this a good deal? Or do similar deals pop up on palmetto often?
$199 for the SPARC AR, $179 for the StrikeFire II.
Both come with 10 magpul 30 round mags.

Killer deal. I got the strikefire 2, it took a week to get to my house though.

MAIN Scientific Research Center of the RF Ministry of Defense for robotics has made an electromagnetic "gun", which he named "Stupor", and is designed to disable unmanned aircraft.
One "Stupor" was seen these days at a military exhibition in Kubinka Condom Moscow "Army-2017".
"Stupor" will be able to use dredges on both land and sea - within the limits of "direct visibility". In other words, it will disable unmanageable devices that can be spotted and followed by a naked eye.
The "bullets" fired from this "rifle" will disable the cannon control channels because they will lose contact with their operators, go into the phase of uncontrolled flight and fall.
"Stupor" will be the most efficient in a two-kilometer radius.
With their "bullets" -impulsants, the drones will also be disabled.
"Stupor" is charged as mobile phones: it can also be from an electric network, and it can also be via car batteries.

In an unprecedented move of ruthless tyranny, Oregon Governor Kate Brown has just signed into law a Democrat-backed document which allows the government to confiscate guns without any prior notice.
The law, based off of Oregon Senate Bill 719, has faced massive resistance from Republicans and Oregon citizens alike. Despite this, the local governments managed to sign it into law—Oregon is no longer a free state.
This new anti-second amendment law permits government officials to order the confiscation of guns, simply based off of hearsay evidence. There is no actual evidence required to order this confiscation, and before the gun owner is even given a hearing.
Worse yet, the only way for the gun owner to get his gun back is to file a case and prove his innocence. This is Orwellian, and it must be overturned by the Supreme Court; if this law begins being enforced, step by step, inch by inch, civilians will lose their second amendment rights.
Here's the bill right here

IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?
Yeah, we know. There have been about a half dozen threads on it in the past few days.
>>35005322
>IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?
No, it's not. It violates several constitutional rights, but it may not be contested for a while and the SC has shied away from a few gun law battles in recent history. Considering how drastically unconstitutional the law is, though, there will almost definitely be some sort of development about it in the near future.

Pic related is a 1918 Win 94 I had for a little bit. I would've kept it if the bore wasn't beat to shit. It was getting like 30 MOA groups

This here is a '58 Win 94 I traded away like an imbecile. Still kicking myself over it
My '49 Winchester. First lever gun. Wanted one forever.
hello /k/ I've been here for a while and I have finally set aside enough money to consider my first firearm purchase. I just need help deciding which one I want to get first and decided /k/ could help me choose one
First off, here are the choices with my $400 budget.
>Mossberg 500 - $300
>SKS - $375-$400
>assorted milsurp rifles - $250-$400+
>m70 NPAP - $500
If I want the NPAP enough I will save up for it but for now these are my main choices in guns I am going to choose from soon.
any help with choosing one that outshines the rest would help me a lot since I don't want to buy something to regret my purchase and I really cant pick from all of them.
ar15
If you pick up an AK pattern rifle you won't regret anything. I got one as my first gun and it was the best choice I ever made, now that I have a sizeable collection the AK's are still my favorite thing. It's worth saving up a bit for one.
You can't go wrong with a mossberg or surplus rifles (bolt action or not), so it really just comes down to your choice in if you want bolt action, pump, or semi-auto. Just keep in mind that an SKS will run you almost the same as an AK, so for that it just comes down to which platform you think you'd like more. If you haven't already maybe check out some youtube videos on the internals of both rifles and use that to help make your choice.
And also an AR is a viable option and the market is great for them, but in my personal opinion the entire platform feels dull and in a way lifeless. You probably won't get the same feeling from an AR that you will an AK/SKS/Milsurp
