I have the possibility to do a paratrooper course as a part of my military service at the end of this year.
However, i'm worried that my ankle injury will prevent me from pursuing this opportunity, because it might not allow me to land without crippling myself for life
So help me out /k/, what forces would i be subjecting my ankles to, or should i just go for it regardless?

Hello people of /k/. I recently got an AMT Javelina (trade) which I would like to keep as a home defense gun. The one thing buggering me is the capacity (an 8-rounder). Could any other magazine fit in (like a GL20?)? Do extended mags exist?
First pistol, not that versed in mechanic. Thank you. (pictured is a javelina, not mine specifically)

You're right. If 8 rounds doesn't stop it, more wouldn't BUT it's not like I sleep in a LBV. Hence, bigger mags.

I just recently purchased my first rifle; a 1979 production Ruger Mini 14. I've been thinking about getting another stock for it, maybe a Archangel or a Tapco. Anyone here have any experience with any aftermarket stocks for these? Especially with an older rifle like mine because I heard that the archangel stock won't fit my rifle.

The original stocks are fine. Mini-14s are simple utility guns and a garbage tacticool stock isn't going to turn it into an AR.

I was sent here from another board on regards to a pistol for a bug out bag.
