Dear /k/omrades,
I need a NON-auto, strong, durable, stabby, fighting, fast, folding knife like my trusty old Ti-lite
My Ti-lite has reached retirement age with a slightly sloppy lockup. I believe it could last me much longer even though I've abused the absolute shit out of it and would still handle a good defensive stabbing. I know because I stabbed the table with it many times.
If you have any suggestions on a new knife let me know, we can't carry guns here and a knife in public doesn't carry such a fierce sentence as opposed to loaded guns.
Thanks in advance

Thanks friendo, I'll do some research on these <3

Grab a torx set and take that guy apart. Sloppy lockup might simply be from crap getting caught inside of it.
If the primary concern for arming cargo ship to defend against pirates is the fact that no port will let an armed ship dock without a nightmare of paperwork, would the following be a possibility?
Consider this: a smaller boat that would be loaded onto the larger ship and would be left on international waters while the "mothership" docked and loaded/unloaded cargo.
This detachable boat would be used to temporarily hold the ship's armament, and would then be picked up again and the ship could travel armed, but never take its armament into foreign ports.
What if the pirates steal that boat while the ship is in port
Like a naval equivalent of "leaving your guns at the door"
Would it be practical?

Depemds on what kind of guns you want to have on the ship
The biggest "easy" transportable gun would be a .50BMG and even with oneof these it would be a pain in the ass.
Was redoing my grandparents washroom and we found a sword buried in her wall, wrapped in old 1900's news papers and underwear... I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it

I really wish his hand would have slipped in.
>>33648961
>just finger fucking objects into a massive shredder with no sense of stablity or using some kind of stick
This channel is going to end badly
I guess this thing is a WW1 era colt 1911 built around 1918 and was eventually converted to a National Match Colt. How many people would be upset if I modified this thing further to have a more contemporary look?

What the fuck is 'more contemporary'?
Are you some kind of mouthbreathing retard who wants to change the grips, or are we going to something more drastic?
Most likely, anything you want to do is a waste of time and money and will make you appear to be a fool to everyone, and deep down, yourself, as well as an affront to the original weapon and tasteful mods.

I've always been partial to a good ol fashioned Banzai.
I'm gonna get my first shotgun soon (within the month) and I've been thinking about either a Mossberg 88 or a Rock Island M5
Which would you pick?
(Main use: range toy with buddies)
(My fault when it comes to guns: I tend to weigh aesthetic of gun slightly higher than function, although if it's a logical choice on which gun is functionally better, I'll go with that one)

Dam dood, I'm not shooting for the stars money wise on my first gun

Anyone else have problems with Chinese ammo in an
Svt-40?
I consistantly get light primer strikes, for 1/5 rounds on average.
Is it a worn out hammer spring, or does Chinese 54r just have hard primers .
The easiest and cheapest thing was to find out is change ammo. If you're getting failures that often you should notice within a few rounds of any other brand of ammo. If you still get light strikes on one or two different brands, then it's the spring.
>>33648535
Do you have any experience with Chinese milsurp ammo?
Just curious, because I've heard more than one person say the ammo is know for hard primers, and has had a similar experience with an svt
Gas setting 1.5 on mine works perfectly so it has to be your springs.
I recently got this old spanish style pocket pistol. It has no markings on it indicating the manufacturer or its age aside from these stamps on the frame, slide, and barrel. Any of you anons know what these markings indicate?
probably an Astra pistol

A pre 1936 colt 1911;
I'm still on the fence whether I should spend money on an AR or an AK.
It seems to me that dirt is less likely to get in an AR due to it's tight tolerances, but if it does, will it be as easy to shake out like in an AK?
I like the AK for its indestructible rugged simplicity; but to me its loose tolerances may easily cause problems in mud. But it seems that dunking it in water and shaking it out will fix it easily; compared to the more complex AR, which demands more time, care, and oil put into it when it gets dirty.
Also: What's the AK-12 going to be like? Loose or tight tolerances?
>>33648321
why not both?
ARs are getting cheap as the market is overstocked thanks to Hillary Election panic.
AKs are getting expensive due to russian sanctions, surplus parts drying up, and european made rifles going to wars in ukraine, syria, etc instead of the USA.
Instead of fantasy scenarios, think what you are actually going to use gun for. Both will hold up just fine under your bed plus much more. I love me an ak but it is an ar market atm. Buy quality shit and take care of it regardless of what you choose
You're a private eye in the late 40s, fresh back from the war and the town of LA has gotten you down, a young femme fatale enters and asks you to find her missing brother. What gun are you carrying, what's your back up, it has to be period. Year for reference is 1948.
