lets get this shit started
>Germany cant field an effective army because terrorists have infiltrated it
>cant afford to buy firearms
>has a handful of combat ready aircraft
>sold somewhere around 90% of its Leo 2's, the majority going to Poland and Canada
>"we r the backbone of NATO guise"
what are some other JUST militaries?

argentina is now eternally JUST because they are a leper in the international arms market and don't have the money to maintain what they currently have
still doesn't stop them from beating their chest even though their flagship got repossessed by Ghana

Why don't the burgers give them more stuff? I read the reason the US refused to lend a hand to the bongs was because all other things considered, Argentina was still their friend.
What does /k/ think of these? Any practical uses or just a toy? Any good ways to weaponize them?

What would a plain-clothes operator in the Star Wars universe look like?
I ask because I want to HAHACOSPLAYHAHA at a convention with this grill I know and I liked the look of the soldiers in Rogue One (as well as the commandos in ROTJ) and I started thinking about wanting to dress as one of them and have some fun. After more consideration, I thought about how since I'd be around a decent amount of people at the convention I can sort of "mix in" and go somewhat minimal, but still tied into the Star Wars look.
Thoughts? Also, IT AIN'T ME Star Wars Edition was okay.
>>33658400
Pretty much anything from the rebel side is pretty plainclothes.
They'd all look like Jango Fett
Impossible to know. In the films we only ever see military kit (stormtroopers, endor and hoth rebels, etc), backwater poorfag clothing (anything to do with tatooine), fashionable clothing of the very rich (anything on coruscant) or clothing for a specific purpose (hand solos smuggler outfit, jedi robes, so on). I cant think of a single time in SW where we actually see what average middle class joes wear. If you're looking for a mercenary/contractor outfit, dengar had that down to a tee with secondhand stormtrooper spray-canned black, but that wasn't very low-key which is what I assume you're looking for.
Post compact handguns.

compact is a solution looking for a problem.
That said gud gun.
Recently I bought a new Glock 19. Just got back from shooting it at the range with a buddy of mine. We each put around 50 rounds through it.
I had no problems (he said he saw it jam on me, but I think I would have noticed that). On the other hand, he experienced failure after failure. We are both new to handguns so I can't diagnose them, but the tap-and-rack method solved each problem.
I suspect he was just limp wristing it. Do you think this was the case? This also got me thinking... if a grown, in-shape 48 year old man can have problems limp wristing at the range, what about high-stress self defense situations? I didn't have any problems but I imagine I might be less cognizant of my grip in a life or death scenario.
Also I was shooting 12" groups slow fire at 25 yards slow fire, 24" groups rapid fire. Factory sights. How'd I do?

Possibly limp wrist. What do you know about shooting form?
Which one of you faggots is this at Berkeley?
For those who need a quick rundown
Numbers were about equal, started out with BPD trying to confiscate weapons and enforce a barrier between sides, but shit started heating up around 12 and the line got trampled. Gradually the Republicans took the whole park and ANTIFA all regrouped on the road towards the UC. A few charges later they were all running down the road to their campus safe spaces leaving a trail of piss. Dreadlock chick (who is a hairy pussy model, shit you not) got caught up on one of those charges up the street when the ANTIFAs lost cohesion.
>they got beat so bad even their shills admit they lost

Tommorow I'm planning on taking public transit to a range in the middle of the city. It's not the best range but it's open on easter and tommorow is my only day off and I want to go shooting dammit.
I plan on putting my .22 and my Glock in my guitar case. It all fits perfeclty in there with the ammo and targets. The only other range bag I have is a big heavy paratrooper bag that says "weapons case" in big loud letters on it (I fucking love that thing but its' heavy as shit)
Anyways I know what I'm doing is 100% legal (carrying on public transit is "suggested against" but not illegal, and I have a permit to carry concealed so w/e) but I do kind of feel weird walking into the range with a guitar case. Anyone else done this before?
I could save myself the embarrassment and just drive but fuck that driving in the city is a fucking nightmare and I want to have a relaxing day off.
What kind of weird unconventional ways do you carry your guns if you don't want something that says "I'm a tacticool faggot with a gun look at me right here"?
>>33657843
backpack seems less conspicuous than a guitar case
>cityfags
>>33657939
can't fit a full sized .22 in a backpack.
Alright /k/

Basically at this point I have every gun I absolutely want, sans the Lee-Enfield. I've personally come across three this year, but they were in worse shape than my fucking Mosin.
Question for /k/ommandos with collections of decent size - what do you think about the adage that your possessions can come to own you?
Do you guys ever start to feel bogged down by the volume of your gun collection, and your possessions in general? Lately I've been wanting to pare down my arsenal to 3 or 4 guns that I frequently use, and pass the rest on.
>>33657506
Not really, even having to clean my collection of ~50 (relax, they're about $8k in total) every month is still entertaining.
>>33657641
>50 firearms at 150 a piece
The fuck are you doing anon?
>>33657727
Hoarding a shit ton of mosins.
I was thinking about making my own mace/pepper spray. Obviously I cannot legally buy it in my country
If I buy reaper chilli powder (hottest chilli in the world) mix it with water and put it in a spray bottle, would that work?
Watched videos of people eating it and it looks very painful. Sprayed in the eyes I bet it can pack a punch
Buy a can of Raid. That shit will blind people, then you can just tell the cops that you panicked and grabbed the thing closest to you instead of explaining why you have a bottle of pepper juice
>>33657461
For some reason I think carrying around a bottle of raid is even more suspicious
Also, last time I checked they don't make really tiny bottles that OP would be able to carry around
>>33657461
I was thinking of the diy chilli spray because it looks like it could induce a severe amount of pain

Any recommendations for mounting a flashlight to a shotgun, either pump or semi?
For the sake of argument, let's say that there are no 1913 rails on the pump gun. Best thing I have found is this, though I have no first hand experience. Seems to be a little better than the stuff that just clamps onto the barrel/magazine.
>>33657326
Duct tape.
>>33657341
well yeah, but that's the easy answer
i have an RS Regulate BM-12G
rock solid & easy to adjust
clamps to the magazine
...
there's also the Surefire DSF integrated lights

So I had a thought. How well would bullets, as well as slugs be if they were made out of cork? Would they be effective for less lethal, like rubber bullets? Tried looking it up, but I can't find shit about it anywhere else.
Any one else try this?
It'd break apart
>>33656585
this
>>33656577
Less than lethal compressed foam rounds are already a thing. Compressed cork would basically just be that.
