A Canadian friend of mine (he's not a cuck) told me about a traditional weapon they typically have called a shillelagh (pronounced "shil-lay-lay"). There are nicely designed ones made with varnish and all but it's pretty much just a piece of a tree branch that can be used as an effective blunt weapon.
The nice thing about it is that it's legal literally anywhere in the world; you have yourself a nice, simple, go-anywhere lethal weapon (it will crack a skull) that you could be walking along with and people will just think you're collecting firewood (okay it might look a little weird in the city), because it's just a damn stick...primitive level weaponry is still weaponry after all. Of course, I'm happy to have my AR15 for when the commies come to burn my house, but this could be a great thing for europeans to carry with themselves to fend off the multiculturalism.
We were on a hike when we found this particular one (it's pine, I think). You can't see it in the pic but it's got little spikes in the head that I'm sure wouldn't go easy on whomever it hits.
No, that isn't really a shillelagh, it's too curved and wouldn't work well for an accurate strike. You need a relatively straight limb with a knurled head for one. The wood also needs to be very strong, traditionally they were made with Irish Blackwood. It's supposed to double as a walking stick.

Illegal in California. Even illegal to walk around with a cane if you don't need it.
It's a traditional Irish walking stick. Cold Steel has a version of it.

I recently took my CZ 527 to get a scope mounted, and the gunsmith said I shouldn't be putting steel case ammo through. Said a little is okay, but a lot will wear out the chamber. The manufacturer says it's made to handle steel case surplus ammo.
Is the gunsmith right?
>>33704040
Your "gunsmith" is a retard and probably one of the modern "gunsmiths" who can't do anything beyond cleaning shit and mounting optics. CZ 527s can handle steel-cased ammo just fine. The 7.62x39mm Carbine models are even made for steel specifically.
"Steel ammo wears out your gun" is fuddlore, just like leaving your mags loaded wears out the springs and other tall tales

>American not tipping
Pretty sure that's a european thing because American servers make 3-5 bucks an hour otherwise.
>>33704040
Don't listen to him. It's a slav gun and she can handle some steel case ammo.
So I found a bunch of these things behind Walmart. Would they make decent range targets?
>>33704003
Yes, but you could sell them off and buy actual targets and have money left over.
Make sure to post pics of the aftermath on some retrogame forums if you decide to shoot them.
>>33704003
not really
if you do, I hope you have the decency to pick up all the bits of plastic and circuitry that will undoubtedly be strewn about
Hi /k/
I currently own a Remington 870 Police Magnum and I can't decide between the Mesa Urbino stock or the Hogue stock set.
I need this shotgun for Home Defense, make it my "truck" or "car" gun, and range shotgun.
Which stock would fill these roles better? Did anyone have problems with either stock?
No one can answer this?
Do you live in your truck? How is one gun going to be your car and home gun?
Gobbling dicks is like my hobby. The only thing I like more is being raped by mommy. She's got a strap-on from bad dragon, and that's how we do our ass shagging.
Keep the woodstock, or I'll suck on your big cock. Dr. Faget phd, I've gotta lotta STDs.
Herpe sores cake my mouth. Doesn't stop me from going south.

/k/ I am looking to buy my first shotgun and I am looking at the Remington 870 express tactical.
Is this a good gun?
Yes.
>>33702606
If it's made before 2008 then go for it.
>>33702656
What is wrong with newer models?
So I got my permit and my dad bought this for me for my birthday. Shot it a bunch and love carrying this little thing. Anything I should know as a first time carrier? I have shot guns my whole life and have already a collection long guns. Thanks in advanced

What the fuck did I just buy /k/?
>>33702351
a nice percussion cap pistol. get lead shot, powder, and caps and you should be good to go
These are the only stamps.
>>33702351
a single shot cap and ball pistol.
Does infantry matter anymore? Is all the real fighting done with tanks, IFVs, artillery, planes, etc.? A whole group of guys can get taken out with one shell. What is/k/s opinion?
>>33702337
You still need guys on the ground, to kick in doors and do patrols
>>33702360
No you don't lol
>>33702337
Armored fighting vehicles, artillery, and planes are only there to protect infantry from other armored fighting vehicles, artillery, and planes. You will never not need boots on the ground.
Post helicopter and planes that were set-up for taking out enemy armor.
I'll go first with my favorite two

Whats the FAL weigh empty with this hiduminium receiver.
Are there any decent first person shooters that have you using some interesting older guns? Pre WW2 stuff. The only one that immediately comes to mind is pic related, but that game is pretty shit.

On that leaf, Battlefield I if you don't care about historical accuracy, as it brings out all the guns that Verdun omits.
