>For the first time during the commemoration of the Battle of Komarov, there was a demonstration of the cooperation of the Territorial Defense Force with operational troops and volunteer cavalry. In this event participated reinforced platoon OT or about 40 soldiers. There was also a long-range reconnaissance group from two Hrubieszów Reconnaissance Regions of about 30 soldiers, two helicopters in the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade, and an assault and 24-cavalry platoon from the 1st Battalion of the 25th BKPow.
So, a joint exercise? I dont really see the significance, doesn't every military do these from time to time?

We just recently started to build our territorials - something every normal fee country has.
Until now, the agents of influence have successfully blocked that, to keep Poland weaker.
Ironically, we had them (in some form) until 1989.
So, the significance is that we finally started to rebuild them 2 years ago, and while there will be a lot of fuckups, I'm sure, it's a giant step forward towards securing the region.
Untill 2 years ago, everyone who was a civilian and wanted to do his part in helping out in defending country in case SHTF, had to do it on his own.
Now it changed, and a lot of my mates who, untill recently, had to organize & train themselves - sometimes with good effect, sometimes with the aid of retired U.S.Army officers - now moved to newly created Polish Territorials.

Hi /k/ quick question.
My vision is bad enough for me to be considered legally blind. The particulars don't matter much, but I'm confident in my ability to aim within a couple yards, shit's just blurry.
Can I buy a handgun for self defense despite that? I've obviously never been to a gun store so I don't know what the process is. I live in PA if that matters.

Most defensive shooting occurs within 7 yards and has fewer than 3 rounds fired.

I do think the specifics are pretty important, though. If you have retinitis pigmentosa, for instance, the lack of central-vision or night vision could be very problematic. If it's a case of severe photo oculodynia, then as long as you wear glasses with an appropriate visible light transmittance, then you should be fine. If it's because of severe blepharospasms, then I don't think you'd be able to maintain a proper sight picture...

It's LHON for me. Nerve atrophy. My father's side of the family all has awful vision, and late in my teens my vision started to diminish and corrective lenses stopped making a huge difference. My color vision isn't affected even though my father and grandfather are both colorblind, but my acuity is awful past a certain point, my field of vision is reduced somewhat, and I briefly see black spots in the center of my vision when I turn my eyes all the way to either side. The spots have been getting bigger over the years. Both eyes ache constantly—most days not too badly—and it's not uncommon to get headaches because of it.
My left eye is far worse than my right, lazy, and infrequently tremors on top of that which gives me disorienting double vision—considerably less so recently though, a muscle spasmed under my eye while holding my breath and diving in a pool, and when I surfaced I noticed the change almost immediately. I've no idea what happened.
My right eye is just good enough to read large print with, and if I close my left eye I can focus when I need to.
Ignoring the other things, and if I keep my eyes mostly forward, I'd compare my vision acuity to what it was like early in my teens when I took my glasses off. Could've been far worse, and will certainly become worse as I get older. Fingers crossed for medical breakthroughs.

It has ammo commonality with most police departments and has higher capacity than a hi point.

this is the Nagant Model 1895 service revolver of the Russian Empire and later the Soviet Union, it was designed by Léon Nagant, colloquically know as "Nagant revolver" or just "Nagant", he had also participated in the competition for Russian Army's new service rifle which would be later receive the designation "3-line rifle M1891"

this is the 3-line rifle M1891, colloquically known as "Mosin-Nagant" after the two designers who participated in the competition, majority of the details on this rifle came from Sergey Mosin's design even though Nagant claimed that the interruptor design belonged to him (he had 'borrowed' Mosin's interruptor and then patented it as his own), these days some people have come to call this rifle "Moist Nugget" or just "Nugget", this in turn has led to some retards calling the rifle "Nagant" when the Belgian inventor's name was only added to the rifle as an appeasement rather than a sign of him having actually contributed to the design in any significant capacity.

And now /k/ will have the usual civilised discussion about the matter

>SCCY pistols are still only $199.99

Help me out here /k/. Is it worth just to have another back up pistol lying around the house? Is it reliable enough to conceal carry?

Only one I've ever shot refused to chamber a new round. It ejected the other round just fine. Threw brass plenty far enough. It just would never chamber a new round unless manually cycled and even then it jammed half the time.
As far as range toys go, knock yourself out. I would never keep it around the house for any purpose though because that implies it might at some point be used around the house and you're better off with a knife in that scenario because at least if you have a failure to stab, it's because you were just out-skilled.
>>
>>35027112
