I'm gonna be in California for who knows how long because of family and now a pretty good job. I need some CA legal suggestions. I live in a rural County that is pretty gun friendly but it is still CA. I've always wanted an M1a but fuck it would be expensive to buy and to shoot. I'm new to /k/ and I searched the archive and couldn't find any similar threads.

Welcome behind enemy lines.
An AR is not out of the question as long as you are willing to jump though hoops. Also act now and then decide later if you are going to comply or not because I can only see prices going up.
An M1a would be a good choice and get you around the regulations but you are right in that they are expensive. If you like the garand action look into a Ruger mini14 or mini30.

ANOTHER JEFFERSON ANON?????

Nigga get some Tula. the M1A will eat it just fine

Also while not semi auto you can have whatever levergun you want and the good ones are comparable in price to a lower end semiauto.

Yes.
Mission accomplished. Thread closed.
Why don't insurgents use suicide uavs? You can make a quad that can carry 400g payload and fly with video link up to a mile for $250. That's gotta be cheaper than using a whole person
Drones don't get virgins when they die.
they already have bomb-dropping UAVs. Remote control vehicles would be a neat idea though.
On soft targets it doesn't provide much of an advantage and on hard targets all it does is provide a fun target to practice on.
Do Commiefornia and other fixed-lock AR states finally have a solution to uncuck ARs?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zVenCG3eX8
They only way to uncuck it is the lift the stupid ass laws so normal people don't have to go to extreme lengths to get as close to normal functioning with breaking the law as it's currently written, knowing it'll soon change again

>AR-15 charger clips
Its about fucking time, Nice that they are shaped like AR mags so they can fit in pouches nicely
>>33776482
Its only a matter of time before the Dems here in CA ban the speedloaders too
The only reason I'd ever own a glock is because of parts availability and because of caliber conversions for the glock 21 and that cz doesn't have a glock 21 equivalent. I have a cz 75 sp01 tactical urban grey edition.
Raise night sights
All steel
18 vs 17
Threaded barrel
Double single action
Best 9mm gun on the market and only 50 more, the same even if you get the nonrail one.

Not a glockfag but how are they BTFO?
It's just a DA/SA handgun which is a bit apples to oranges.
If you had posted a striker fired pistol that offered say, heightened capacity, a superior trigger, superior ergos, a better price point, better sights, or perhaps a better aftermarket you would be perfectly justified in saying they were BTFO.
However this does not BTFO Glockfags because they simply don't care (at least I don't think they do) about DA/SA guns (retarded though it may seem, they claim to have problems using "two triggers", the fucking idiots)
And sadly you can get Glocks with those accessories fairly easily for around the same price.

>America makes another WW2 game
>It's just Germany vs America
What the fuck! Seriously /k/ why is military history constantly getting fucked up by the mainstream
>>33776401
Because some of us are a bit tired of the eastern front simulator 2kxxs that keep getting spewed everywhere whenever someone does WW2.
It's nice to see an American centered one for the first time in a while.
Hopefully the multiplayer isn't just America vs Germany. Other countries are probably gonna be fucking DLC though like in BF1. America should the DLC, not the base nation
>>33776401
The Germans were real men they would have won if not being outnumbered 10 to 1
Price point aside, is the SKS actually a good rifle?
>>33776340
yeah, it's okay
>>33776340
Mine used to slam fire
Yeah. It's not the most accurate gun in the world but it gets the job done just fine
I've probably shot 1200 rounds through mine and never had a single issue
I mean seriously, could they have held out against the Germans if the Red Air Force and and the USAAF hadn't assisted them?
B-17 was more effective but the lancaster carried a larger ordinance.

Sorry got confused by your pic and thought we were discussing 4 engine bombers. Britain had some good shit. The nazis obliderated all the air forces of Mainland Europe. Only Britain had comparable stuff. Spitfire was a better turnfighter but the Me109's were more powerful and better at energy fighting.
The Soviet's and allies never really fought together, they were on opposite fronts. The General mentality is that WWII was won by a combined effort.
american steel, british intelligence and russian blood
Definitely.
The Battle of Britain was a losing proposition for the Germans from the moment they kicked it off. Daylight raids had to be escorted which limited them to a relatively small slice of England meaning the RAF could focus their defensive efforts there, night raids were safer but didn't do much in the long run.
British fighter production was fine, all things considered, and the Germans simply could not have kept up, attrition was going to get them regardless of what they did. The general consensus is that a change in strategy might have prolonged the Battle of Britain, but the Luftwaffe was never going to win it. The RAF could recover downed pilots and even some downed aircraft, whereas if the Luftwaffe lost a pilot or an aircraft over British soil, there was no hope of recovering them.
The VVS and USAAF don't even enter into the discussion as they weren't involved in the war at any time where the RAF was 'holding out' against the Luftwaffe (except maybe over Africa, but that's another story). By the time Operation Barbarossa had kicked off, the RAF were mounting raids against German targets in occupied France already, and any bombing campaign the Luftwaffe tried to execute after 1941 was an absolute joke.
tl;dr Yes they could, we know this because they did.

Looking at building my first roller lock gun.
I've decided to do a. 308.
Which should I do. A Cetme or a HK91?
Cetme kits are fucking cheap, but barrels are hard AF to find and I can't find any information on whether I can use a g3 barrel
Hk91 is more expensive, but I can get all the parts.
>>33775262
can you weld?
>>33775262
if you save money on the Cetme, see how much it would cost you for a smith to take barrel stock and make you a barrel. biggest problem will be the connection. Also, what is this, a picture for ants?
>>33775276
Yes.
>>33775287
I thought about it, but, I feel the cost of doing that would put in close to the HK build instead of the Cetme build. Also, blame Google.
